Absolutely horrible. Had an appointment at the corona Pacific derm, and I've been a patient there for almost 10 years now, with different dermatologist coming to evaluate my face. This was by far the worst experience i've had at this office. He came in, did not ask me questions about what was going on nor did he even take any time to evaluate my face. He kept trying to leave after 2 minutes even though I had more questions. However the PA, that was there showed way more concern for me and asked me questions after the "dermatologist" left the room. She even referred me to the dermatologist that used to work at the corona office, which i had previous experience with (all positive of course). All he did was prescribe me different things without any instructions or what they would help with. He only cares about a paycheck and not the patients. Since i've gone through different derms at this specific clinic, I know who actually has a heart for the patients and who has a heart for the paycheck. read more

I had a Saturday morning appointment. He showed up very late to the office & the staff mentioned that he does that often. He doesn't listen well-just insists he is right before he even knows your situation. I went to him for hair loss. I wanted a scalp biopsy so I can determine what treatment would be effective & not waste my time & money trying things that won't even work. I also have scalp pain & wanted to see if maybe I have a scalp or hair follicle infection. He refused to do a scalp biopsy or culture. He insisted my hair loss is because I'm autoimmune, he says I will always struggle with hair loss. He told me to try minoxidil & "Hope" that it works. He also said he was going to prescribe minoxidil but the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. And no education was given on minoxidil. Horrible care all the way around. There was no good aspect to any of this. read more

Very odd situation today. My husband and I had appointments with Dr. Roshdieh at his Newport Beach office for next week. We annually see him for our annual check ups for derm. at Newport Beach at West Dermatology. I called the office in Newport Beach today to confirm our Monday appointments and was told that he retired and that we are assigned to a P.A. I asked for an M.D. and was informed that we had to see the P.A. That the M.D.s in the office were not taking new patients. I explained that we were not new patients and I asked who was seeing Dr. Roshdieh's patients. I was informed that the P.A. was the only one seeing his patients. I was also informed by the man who first answered the phone that there were not any M.D.s in the office only the P.A. I called back to confirm this information and was told a similar story from the woman who answered the phone. I don't know what happened to Dr. Roshdieh. We respected him and find it very odd that we never received a letter telling us that he retired and who had our records. Today, I was informed that the P.A. had our records. I guess if we showed up for the appointment, we would see the P.A. Not acceptable and I really am tempted to report all of this to the Medical Board. We will not be returning to West Dermatology. read more

First visit he found a serious spot on my back. He referred me to another doctor for removal. Good job. Later on he was very superficial and gave a quick look at my skin. I developed skin cancer in my ear. He could not identify it so he referred me a ear doctor who had me apply a steroid cream and sent me back to Roshdieh. About 2 years later Roshdieh finally did a biopsy which showed it was cancer. I went to another dermatologist and had it removed. If Roshdieh had not been so superficial to begin with the skin cancer would have been identified and removed years earlier. read more

Takes the time to listen, very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. Did not try to push unnecessary tests/procedures, and was just as nice as can be! Finally, a doctor who is good at what he does, AND nice to interact with! I enthusiastically recommend him (and I have seen around 6-7 dermatologists in Fresno). Great place. Friendly staff. The Doctor really knows what he's doing. He has extensive experience and truly wants to help his patients. I got a facial at a spa, it removed some of my small hairs on face as a result of the treatment. Well... they grew back as Ingrowns. It was horrible, it was like having cystic acne all over again, except I'm 30. He saw my face, put me on a few weeks of oral antibiotic, prescription topical and after 3 weeks I can say my skin is back to its amazing state. I know he doesn't do cosmetics or anything like that, he mainly specializes in "real derm" cancers and things like that. But I know he does see patients with acne, Eczema and other problems. I don't have insurance.. and I know many people don't either, but Sometimes we end up spending more money trying to find solutions elsewhere.. and in the end it would have been better to just go with a professional and be done with it. read more

Absolutely love Doctor B and his Staff (with a capital s)! They have taken care of our 60 yr. old skin now for quite awhile now and being a couple who worked outdoors all our lives (we are 60, letter carrier and brick mason) we hit pay dirt when we found them. Simply stated- Dr. Babak Rosdieh is as good as it gets with Fresno Dermatologists, and Dermatologists in general in my experience(s). There is no doubt in my mind, that Dr. Rosdieh knows exactly what he is talking about. He wastes no time at all, to answer your questions(s), as he could tell right away by just looking at something. I have no doubt that he is one of the very best here in the Fresno area, and you'd be silly not to give this first class Dermatologist a try. I have referred others to him, as they plan on switching Doctors. I was a first time client and had three questions, concerns when I came in, waited just a short time and left with my three answers. All smiles and I felt confident with the information and treatment that I received. He speaks to you like a respectful adult and doesn't make you feel anything less. The office is modern, clean, and personable. Remember-- if one Doctor doesn't work out and treats you anything but fair and respectful there's always another. Customer service goes a long way and should I have any other skin concerns in the future, Dr. Rosdieh is the Dermatologist for me. I hope this review helps and to good health!!! read more

This is a dermatologist & I was a patient he had never seen before. I have a family history of melanoma & carcinoma. I was wearing long pants & was not asked to put on a gown. He asked if I had any problems & I said that was for him to decide! He reluctantly had me put on a gown & had me turn around. Never removed the gown, checked my hair, or between my fingers or toes. No light or magnifying glass used. Said I was fine. What a waste of an appointment. read more

The shortest wait that I have ever experienced at any doctor's visit, EVER! That should have been a red flag to me. I was sitting in the waiting room, feeling confused as to why all the patients who were called in came back out within 3-5 mins. I was equally astounded at how quickly I was called in, myself. When the doctor came to see me after only a few mins. wait, the whole visit lasted not even 2 mins. He didn't really discuss with me what my concerns were. The only thing he was focused on was to prescribe me this oral antibiotic medication for my breakouts. Then, two mins. later, he was gone, and there I was trying to piece together what just happened. This doctor does not want to sit with you to hear what you have to say, or all the concerns you may have, or the reason/s why you even came to begin with. From my own experience, I will assume that he only wants to write prescriptions to patients, nothing more. People like him should never become doctors...no sympathy or empathy for the patients, whatsoever. For this doctor, it's definitely quantity over quality...what a shame! It is hard for me to understand why anyone would give this doctor a rating of more than 1 or 2 stars. read more

Dr. Roshdieh is the best dermatologist I've ever been to, there is never a long wait and they always can get you in when needed. I went there for the darkening of my face due to pregnancy and he wrote me a prescription for the best cream ever, I also had him check out two moles which he recommended removing. I thought I would have to go back but he was able to take are of it right there in office. While I was being prepped and numbed he was helping other patients which to me is very efficient with his time. He is very good at what he does and is very knowledgeable in his work, I don't feel you need him in your presence for long to get what you need as one of the other reviewers obviously wants. He explains everything you need to do or what will be done and ask if you have any questions. He is always happy with a great big smile, I agree with one of the other reviewers that I would recommend him to anyone in need. Great Dr!!!! read more

went for a simple mole check. and Im still going years later. his gal friday in the front is knowledgeable and nice, been there a long time. The nurse in the back friendly these two make a great staff and Dr Roshdieh is very ready to make you feel comfortable and explains the situation very calmly. would recommend highly. If a no frills and no cosmetic general dermatologist is what you need. I highly say try this guy!!! Takes all insurances too. read more

I have found my new dermatologist! Easy to get an appointment (I called and got one for the following afternoon). Dr. Roshdieh and his staff were kind and efficient. He was very thorough with my exam, listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. And, since I do not have medical insurance, I appreciate how reasonable his cash patient price is. Dr. Babak was kind, and at first, it seemed that he was really interested in my concerns about something that was on my skin. He did agree that there was diffidently something on my skin, but he didn't know what it was. We agreed on a biopsy, and a sample was taken. Now let me just mention that I am a Targeted Individual and the stuff on my skin was put there by Organized Gang Stalkers. Citizens, Neighbors, Business Owners, Government etc., are Stalkers. (Google it, and see what I am talking about) Anyhow, Everything was great, leading up to my 2nd appointment, which was after the biopsy was taken. 2nd appointment, Dr. Babak seems a little standoffish, almost like he didn't want to help me anymore, he didn't care as much as he did at the first appointment. Told me that the test came back stating that I had inflammation on one of the layer of my skin. Ok, that makes sense, due to the fact that I have this shit all over me, sure it should be inflamed. Now he wants to pass me off to another Doctor out at Loma Linda. My theory on this is, that the Gang Stalkers got to Dr. Babak, did and said whatever they needed to, so he wouldn't help me. You have to ask yourself if this is the Doctor you want going or attempting to go to bat for you, no matter what the situation is. read more

Dr. Roshdieh saw me for a regular skin care check up to rule out any skin cancers, etc... I was taken back quickly and he had a generally good bedside manner; however, the exam went very quickly and I did not feel confident that he could have performed a thorough examination of my skin. I am a 40-50 year old red head with a moderate amount of sun exposure and many things to look at on my skin. He look up and down my arms and legs without turning them. He pointed to something he think may give me trouble in the future which I appreciate. He did not look through my scalp or any hard to reach places. I understand wearing gloves, but that just added to a feeling of him being standoffish. read more

After follow-up for various mole removals, Dr. Roshdieh found 3 skin cancers - 2 basels and 1 aggressive. He did biopsies on all 3. Biopsy with 1 basel on forearm took care of it. The aggressive one on leg was taken care of in office with (I think) a type of cutting/cauterizing. The basel on the nose required MOHS surgery with a referral to Dr. Alexander Miller in Yorba Linda (great doctor, too). Have follow-up in December for all three. Don't understand other review on this page. I like a short wait (but I do ask for appts on slower days). Dr. always listens/asks questions. Perhaps her condition didn't warrant a long dissertation. I also like a Dr. who doesn't waste time, thus causing back-ups in waiting room. He has a great manner, always a big smile, but very serious about getting down to business and taking care of the situation. So far, I stand solidly behind my experiences, and have recommended him to others. My husband will be going to him, as well. read more
