Everything is fresh and very tasty. Anyone that goes to buy food from there will never be disappointed. They service may not be fast. But the quality of food is what makes it worth getting. They also serve desserts. My favorite is the carrot cake. They do serve other sides. This is no ordinary fast food place.

I was greeted by a young man with a big smile, he was friendly despite being the only person there and he has a busted hand that was obviously bothering him. I read the sign and took a seat, it was going to take some time to get my Gyro and fries and that was fine. I know the kid was struggling as it was taking way longer than I remember. Another person showed up and she finished my order. My gyro was not what I had in the past. The meat was chopped up into tiny tiny pieces, not the large thin strips of tasty meat I expected and the grease was overpowering making it barely edible. The tomato and onions were fresh and the feta was good, but dang was I disappointed. The fries were delicious like they usually are. I guess being short handed hurt my experience ? I will try Nick's again.

Parking is downtown diagonal street parking. The inside is decorated nicely. Old brick and wood feel with a cool bar towards the front . The partially open kitchen fills the back of the long narrow restaurant. The service was great. Someone from the kitchen brought out each plate. The Old Fashioned was decent, but it did lack the single cube that takes the cocktail to the next level. The small wedge salad was plenty and it was amazing. The Chicken and pasta dish was amazing. Great flavor. The chicken and pasta were both cooked perfectly. I loved everything about this place. That craft cocktail would take you to perfect. Thanks. I enjoyed it.

The food began with a small plate of bacon wrapped shrimp with homemade bbq sauce that were fantastic. We then shared a small strawberry pecan salad that was very good. (A sweeter dressing like Raspberry Vinaigrette would be a nice touch.) Our entree was a 8 oz. Filet cooked to perfection! Sides were macaroni and cheese and brussel sprouts. Both equally delicious. We loved our bottle of Riesling... White Rabbit. Will definitely be having that again. And to end the night, we took home the most scrumptious crème brûlée! I can't wait until our next visit.

Warm and friendly. They have a decent drink selection and that made me happy right away. I ordered a draft beer, an IPA that was local to Nebraska. The menu has something for everyone, I started with the deviled eggs and they were amazing, just like Ma used to make except better they had little pieces of crispy bacon on them. Brilliant. I chose the Ribeye, Rare. I also went with a loaded baked potato. My meal arrived pretty quick and I was glad to see a piece of garlic toast. The steak was perfectly prepared, the potato was indeed loaded. I would recommend the ribeye to everyone. Our server could not have been better, she knew the menu well. Like I mentioned, the drink selection was nice. Settled for the Blanton's and an Eagle Rare to top of the night. Then the server brought up desert, oh Brother. Just what I needed. LOL, I chose the Raspberry Lemon Drop Cake. WOW WOW WOW it was delicious. I look forward to visiting the Barrel Bar again.

So will try the evening menu another time. Salad bar is good, nothing exotic. Burger for myself with some special parts going in. Jalapeños, blue cheese. no eggs available. Hot water drinks. When we sat down the service was a bit flakey, but I digress-- when we had sat down and decided what to order nothing was said to us regarding our choices. It's important to note my father got the new york steak and I got the filet mignon. On the menu the there was a note saying to ask about current prime rib and ribeye prices-- nothing about the other cuts. However, when it was time to pay, my father noticed that the price was different from the menu! So, naturally, my father mentioned the price difference and the waitress tried to say that it was on the menu-- no, we specifically looked at what was on the menu and didn't get the specifically mentioned cuts. When we told her that it in fact wasn't on the menu, she pointed out that there was a sign by the door. Which, remember, we didn't even have time to notice and she didn't say anything when we ordered the food. Not to mention, I didn't think of it at the time, but I should have asked for a refund or something else because my filet mignon was bad-- and my sister's burger was mediocre, just to mention. I got it specifically because it's supposed to be tender and a better cut, but it was hard to cut and while I ordered a medium, it was more cooked than my father's medium well. While my father enjoyed his steak he tried mine and agreed that it was pretty flavorless and the charr was oddly overpowering. Overall while the waitress was nice and took off our drinks to try and make it right (despite it only really making up for mine and not both) the menu was outdated and the food was not very good. Will not be returning and it was very disappointing for $100.
