Zach then guided us through the wine list and helped us select some fantastic wines to try. He was courteous, professional, and genuinely seemed to love what he does, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We tasted LaRue's Blanc de Blancs, LaRue's Brut Rosé, Stoller Reserve Chardonnay, and Stoller Reserve Pinot Noir. Every wine was delicious and beautifully vinified to showcase and complement each varietal. I enjoyed the wines so much that I actually signed up for the Legacy Wine Club! Overall, it was a truly memorable experience for my family and me. The combination of beautiful scenery, exceptional wines, and wonderful hospitality made this visit one to remember. For this cidery we got a nice, dry cider. A type of cider that Steve and I prefer most of the time over the very sweet ones. The name of this cider was Cat La Roux Perlant. This cider as most good apple based ciders should have has apple involved in it as well as a tartness, an astringentness and a dry finish. Like a many coders it is light bodied which in most cases is what we always prefer when it comes to ciders. There are other cider options from this cidery that look quite promising for delivering a good quality product so that is something to look forward to whenever the opportunity arises again to have more cider from Raw.
