I have Thad them out 3 times to cut my lawn. The second time they were out I asked them to please do not cut by my back gate on the right side, and the backyard because I had seeded the last one they were out. This week they came out charged me the normal price and didn't cut anything but the front yard and they did a horrible job at that!! They left yard clippings all over- ran it over with the mower didn't "cut" it (see pictures) and didn't trim anything. When I called in to asked if they were coming back to cut the backyard and fix this they said they were too busy. They said they would have a supervisor call me and I have yet to hear from him. (Update) on owners comment! I didn't receive a call that a complete and utter lie! Everyone notice that the pictures posted are from the owner, not customers. Are they real reviews if the owner posted them? I the following day had another company come out and "fix" your work and they did a great job for so much less than your job which didn't cut the grass you mushed it over. He also commented on the trim job your company did which was over a foot to my pavers. I've posted that picture to show the "rush" job this company did. If you want an experienced lawn company don't go with an air conditioning company.... Try a yard company instead- Blade Force 980-250-3673. They only do yards... it's their specialty!! read more

This company has awful customer service. They screwed up sending us an estimate. I called to question it and was treated like it was my error. It was a simple request that could have easily been handled by sending the requested information. By the way, they record you without notifying you. read more

Update: Anyone can make mistake. But how you handle it sets you apart. This is same case for R&B. After posting my review, I got an email saying they voided my previous payment and allowed me to pay by my new payment method. Updating my review to 5* because of this. Great service, great price and taking care of customers when things go wrong. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommended. Previous review: I had R&B Climate Control come to repair my AC unit recently. The technician arrived promptly on the scheduled day and was able to diagnose the issue. Since the cost of repairs would put me over my credit card limit, we agreed via text that I'd provide a new payment method after the work was completed. However, I was disappointed that R&B charged my original card on file, contrary to our agreement. While I appreciated their repair service, I wish they had followed through on contacting me for the new payment information as discussed. Because of their mistake I will have to pay additional fee/interest rate to my current credit card company. I tried calling them to switch the card but they were not interested in refunding old card and charging new card either. So while their repairs are good, their record keeping or customer service has lot of room to improve. read more

Our air conditioner died so I turned to Yelp and found these guys. I called at 9 am on a Sunday and they had someone come out by 10 am. There was a $99 service fee for it being a weekend, but that's worth it to me to have working AC. The technician was here for about an hour to an hour and a half. He replaced two capacitors for us and did some tests on the rest of the system. We mentioned the Yelp coupon and they gave us a better discount. They also take credit card which is a huge plus. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and prompt. I'd recommend them and call them again if we have an issue. read more

We used R&B Climate Control to replace both our downstairs unit/ductwork (three years ago) and upstairs unit (three months ago). We have had issues with each unit. Most recent example - About a month after install, we suspected our upstairs unit was not performing optimally and we sporadically heard odd noises coming from the unit/drain pipes. We scheduled our seasonal maintenance and alerted the maintenance technician to our concerns. They failed to diagnose the problem and a week later our AC stopped working. The after hours tech discovered that the circuit board/motor had failed (and likely had been in decline since the unit was installed) which our installer AND the maintenance technician did not catch. We then had to spend a hot summer night without AC in the bedrooms waiting for the repair to take place the next day. Other issues we have had with R&B Climate Control - damage to house at time of HVAC install (for which we were reimbursed), failure to install gas line correctly to downstairs unit (for which we had a gas leak and Piedmont natural gas had to come out), failure to install ductwork around existing pipes correctly (resulting in drain pipe not draining properly and our old AC unit shutting off multiple times throughout one summer). It should also be noted that at the time of service maintenance, the technician recommended that we replace both capacitors for our three year old unit. We did get a second opinion from another HVAC company and they said they were fine. read more

Beware of this company's yearly plan if you pay up front you and you aren't satisfied they aren't willing to refund a prorated amount of the unused portion of the remaining balance. Their technicians left trash in the attic area from a repair of a pressure switch for the unit and a make shift siphon hose was blocking the drain on the AC unit causing the pan to fill up with water, mind you the technician that serviced the summer portion of the bi-annual service agreement quoted me for pan switches. Had I not changed my own filters regularly I would've needed by force these switches because the system overflowed. I'll take my chances with Morris Jenkins or some other local HVAC Specialist read more

Our air went out on Monday and my husband tried to search things to do to try and fix it, but we were not having any luck. After a night of tossing and turning in a warm bedroom (luckily we have not even come close to summer heat!), we decided to call someone. I actually attempted to call another company with 5 star yelp reviews, but I received no response. After having no response, I went back on yelp. I was not to thrilled with Naren's review, still left me a bit skeptical, but I saw that R&B had 5.0 reviews on google and another site as well as 0 BBB complaints, so I decided to call them up. I received an immediate answer, told them what was going on, and they would have someone there that day between 4-6. Keith was our technician, and he called me close to 3, stating he was running early and could be on his way. I told him I was still at work, but I could leave. He told me not to worry, just continue and we could still plan on 4. Perfect! I was able to leave work as planned, get home at 4, and Keith was actually pulling in right before me. Keith was able to quickly diagnose the problem, let me know it was an electrical switch issue, and the cost (which was reasonable!). I had him fix it there on the spot and I used one of their online coupons for a discount. I'm glad that we were able to trust R&B with fixing only what was necessary and not try to say more was there or that we need a whole new system! The only thing he tried to sell me was their yearly check up (which I think is twice a year), but I declined and he did not push it after, perfect! I would definitely recommend R&B and I will be using them in the future as I trust their work! Thank you! read more

2 days back, a guy from this company came to fix a stopped AC in my house. new house of 3.5 yrs old. The technician behavior was good, but he spent almost 1 hour and told me the circuit board in the furnace gone defective, and next day customer service told me the labour will be $420 to fit the new board. The board is under warranty from the manufacturer. Want to try with another co. Yesterday, I called another company to check. That technician fixed in less than 5 mnts, saying there is a switch which got tipped, so he put it back and the AC is running. I was in shock. But I happily paid their service call fee of $79. I paid $49 for the R&B service call, to get the wrong analysis. When reported this to this company, they refused to refund that amount. Now I planned to dispute the credit charge. Beware of knowledge of technicians. May be others are good, but the one came to my house, is not competent. read more

Wow. They are great. I have been using Brothers Air for awhile now but had my last straw 2 summers ago. They took me to the cleaners and were using words like we need to replace 4 "Flux Phase Shifter" which is actually a capacitor(a form of a battery). Because of this I didn't get a service last summer and with the hot weather my lower unit wasn't working as well. I thought I would try R&B because they couldn't be any worse but I specifically was looking for a smaller company thinking they would be better. Boy was I right. Jerry my service person was great. He walked through everything with me. He said I had a capacitor which is starting to go bad but should be good for the summer. He even showed me the meter readings to back it up. I needed Freon in my lower unit and he asked me to watch him and the scales as he filled it up.(you pay by the pound) Talk about honest. I am no way affiliated with this company but signed up with Yelp just to post my experience. These are the companies I want to do business with . Ask for Jerry real down to earth guy. read more

When our AC upstairs went out we had no idea who to call being new to the area. From beginning to end R &B was great. The technicians were prompt, polite, professional and knowledgeable. When they quoted us a price to fix our compressor I called around to make sure that their price was reasonable. Not only was it reasonable, but lower than local competitors. The R&B team has been a pleasure to work with. Russel and his associates came out for a routine tune-up on a VERY old unit in our new home. Shortly after the cleaning and tune-up a leak surfaced. Their team came-out to ensure that they were not the cause of the issue, had great pricing for a service not covered by our home warranty to detect a leak and were able to sit on the phone for OVER AN HOUR with myself and the home warranty company to ensure that the home warranty company had what they needed to complete my claim, that I fully understood what my options were, and clearly explained my options for how to move forward. I am impressed with the level of service, patience and empathy for my situation, where other companies that we saw during this situation did not. I request the service of this air conditioning company to fix my problem my air conditioner was not cooling and the technician told me that I only needed to change the contactor and the refrigerant and that would solve the problem I paid $ 549 for the service, the next week I called because the air stopped cooling again and they did not solve the problem I did not get a guarantee of the work they had done before and they charged me $79 more to go check the problem that they did not fix me, I do not recommend this company it is the worst. every time they come to check they charge the customer and they do not give us a solution. read more

Daniel just came to our house and was very kind and courteous. He was running at little late and was very apologetic. I discussed the situation and he listened to me with interruption or making any assumptions. He trouble shot the unit and discussed pricing as we went along. I will definitely be recommending them again and be using them in the future. He was super fast too! In the end he discussed the billing and didn't even use freon after cleaning the coils and rechecking the system. I bought my new air conditioner-heat pump system from R & B Climate Control and would recommend them to anyone. They were the first to show up for a free estimate, spent enough time to determine an accurate price that was lower than all of the others, did the work promptly in the next couple of days, showed up exactly when they said they would, charged me the exact amount they quoted, did the job quickly and professionally, and left the area even cleaner than they found it. Also, fifteen months later when a part became defective, they came to fix it the very next morning without trying to charge extra for a service call.
