Sandy has a calm ,soft manner and a soothing voice. It works! No whining,crying from nervous nelly. She's wagging her tail and beautifully coiffed with bows when I arrive. I travel 35 minutes from Metro West just for the services at Gentle Grooms. It is well worth the drive.

Natasha didn't respond in a timely manner to reasonable questions - what time should we get there? What time will she be finished? I went with it this time anyway since her work is so good. After dropping our dog off at 8:30 am, I stopped in at 3 pm since I couldn't believe how long it was taking. The dog had been bathed, and there were several dogs ahead of her to be groomed. Natasha wanted to keep our dog there at least until 6pm (going on 10 hours) during which she hadn't been fed, or gotten outside. I really wish this had worked out. But no dice.

In addition to badly injuring my dog, it turned out that the owner didn't actually complete the grooming, not even the half of it. She only starting on my dog and wrote me a message saying that he is ready. Then she started cutting his hair and pretty soon penetrated his skin. When I came, I couldn't really thoroughly inspect the result as all my focus was on his wound. I did notice that the paws weren't cut the way I asked, but she told me they were good, and I didn't feel like arguing because, again, my focus was on his wound and his condition. That was Saturday April 16. After we lived through the weekend that included a vet ER visit, and the next week that included an expensive vet visit, and he finally started feeling better, I was finally able to see that the owner DID NOT DO even half of the grooming. She still charged me for the grooming. That was AFTER she injured him. So, she effectively took advantage of my being focused on his condition and not on his grooming. She was literally charging my credit card while I was holding a bunch of paper towel on his wound trying to stop his bleeding.
