After completion, I offered to pay more somewhat as a "tip" since their level of service deserved it, but they wouldn't have it. While I expect my roof to last for decades, I would love to find additional roofing projects in the future for the company. They started the job on my commercial building with two peaks, then left it unfinished for several days in the rain. I then hired a professional roofing inspector, and he was not impressed with the work done also pointing out the material used in the valley, which is vulnerable to perforations (stepping on it, nails, debris), a vinyl rubbery sheeting instead of the best choice of metal which would be stronger, more durable and last more than a year or two. ABC Roofing never discussed the choice of materials with me, and I expected "A" quality materials and workmanship for the price paid. Do discuss with the contractor and research every aspect of a roofing job before signing a contract and giving them a check to better ensure you are getting the best "A" job instead of a "C" job. Javier not only had the best price, but he was a delight to work with. He's meticulous, and his attention to detail is extraordinary. Javier is also a great communicator who's humble. We had a challenging section in the front of our house that involved a large tree overhanging the garage. They built a ramp to the dumpster which caught all the debris, and they didn't break a single branch. His crew did a terrific job tearing out the old roof, replacing some rotted boards, and installing new Certainteed Landmark shingles. They added roof vents where we needed them, re-directed several attic vents, and even replaced our old skylight with a new one. They did a fantastic job cleaning up and we've gotten many compliments on the new roof. If you're bidding a new roof, make sure you include J. Roofing in the mix. You will love the results!

He was very slow and ran us way over budget (he essentially billed us 89.00 per hour to put in tile, and he seriously billed us for 48 hours of tile work to put in 45 pieces of 12x24 tile). When we would ask for estimates to finish, he gave an estimate, and then took twice as long as his estimate. When we confronted him, he literally said, it's time and materials, it is what it is. We finally had him stop work when he was close to 50% over our original estimate (and he STILL wasn't finished). The final quality of work was so bad, we had to hire a new contractor and have all the tile torn out and start over. Be careful!
