So I live in Sanford Maine but went to school and grew up in Wells so I am familiar with some of the people who work there but I wanna say me personally knowing them doesn't reflect on this review the baked goods and sweets are the best in town hands down and the sandwiches are fresh large and affordable if something look a little pricey on the menu order it you won't be able to finish the whole thing I believe the Specialty Sandwich is "Captain Jacks" this should be in the Top 3 sandwich shops in Southern Maine I got the Capresse Ciabatta (Spelking might be off) it was the best Ciabatta sandwich I've ever had the veggies were fresh and I've never had a more higher quality mozzarella cheese than what was on it the service is extremely friendly and extremely fast I would give 10 stars if I could and shout out to Brenda who always makes the experience easy and friendly I can't wait to go again and try out more of the menu read more

Ordered a couple of wraps lettuce apparently wasn't washed it felt like there was grit like sand in sandwich I know it's called a sandwich but next time use different lettuce usually everything we order is great sorry not this time. This small shop is worth looking for we stopped in thinking of salid or sandwiches for dinner to take to our hotel I orded a captain Jack's itialian it was filled with the most wonderful selection of cold cuts fresh veggies all on somthing more like a rustic loaf of Italian bread with out a doubt the best sub I've had in my 70 or so years I give you a small warning a half sub is 12 inches the full sub 24 inches and the quarter sub 6 inches and they all are 4 to 5 inches wide my wife had a ceaser salid with the best home made dressing I ever had and large amount of shaved parmesion cheese I can't wait to go back to Maine read more

We were leaving Wells Beach and was looking for something easy for lunch and this sounded different and I am glad we stopped in. We did not try their chocolates however we did get sandwiches to eat in the shop, which had a few tables. We split the roast beef on ciabatta and the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich. Both were made fresh to order, nicely portioned and prices what you might expect. To my surprise, they also had a free wine tasting going on! Despite the fact it is a very small establishment, the options to give you a many. We had a pastrami provolone and mustard on rye. It was served warm, the bread was delicious very soft and the texture was wonderful, the pastrami was great piled high and had a wonderful bite to it. The choices for dessert a mini and it will keep you busy just trying to decide. Tons of different soft drinks tons of different sides, salads soups and just about anything anyone would want. We didn't go there for desserts. We heard from a local that they make wonderful sandwiches. My wife got a 1/4 size turkey and avocado sandwich. I had a 1/4 Italian Sub. They are huge I'm a big eater. They are easily 8" long and stuffed. They make great desserts there too cakes and chocolates. Big wine selection and bottled soft drinks. Tables to eat there as well. Best sandwiches!!! Definitely not $$$ but only $, sandwiches are less than $10 but are enormous. The Thanksgiving turkey sandwich tasted incredible with a bit of creamy sweetness from the cranberry mayo. The Italian was standard but good, packed with a lot of meat and delicious pickled hot peppers. We also did the cannoli bar! The people working at this shop are so kind and were very patient as we decided what flavors we wanted. Ultimately, we got a chocolate sea salt shell with pistachio filling and shaved dark chocolate and crushed almonds as toppings, and two chocolate dipped shells with chocolate ganache filling and shaved dark chocolate as a topping. Both fillings were ricotta based, so not too rich! The salted shell added a nice contrast, and overall, very good cannolis! The cupcakes in the shelf also looked really really good. Enormousssss!!! Out and about during this rainy Saturday and saw this sign Chocolate and I was drawn in! As you enter this establishment you are greeted with glass cases filled with chocolate delights. The smell was intoxicating and quickly I was addicted. I purchased a Ganache filled Cannoli, chocolate covered devil dog and a Champagne Truffle. The Cannoli was a bit disappointing as I expected more of a ganache taste and not a Cannoli flavor. I saved the devil dog for a friend, however the truffle was amazing. It certainly hit the sport of the chocoholic! They also have sandwiches on the menu and I ordered a caprese sandwich which was fantastic. It was filled with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and fresh made bread. I definitely will come back to try another treat. read more

R&R is our go to spot for lunch in Wells. Their Italian sub is amazing as is their turkey wrap and antipasto salad and Greek salad. Their service is friendly and prompt. We have never been disappointed! And they also sell a variety of sweet treats, wine, coffee beverages, and other goodies. After trying a lot of sandwich shops and cafes in the area including the surrounding towns of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, R&R is still our favorite. read more

I ate them all In like fifteen seconds. Never vacuumed down a box of cannolis so fast In my life.. I recommend everyone try a dozen cannoli and get all the toppings they are so good!! The cream in the Cannoli was amazing so delicious! Even my five year old thought it was delicious and my only regret was not getting two or three dozen. Concept is great, but call ahead to make sure they have fillings available. Was pumped to try the chocolate and the pistachio fillings, to find they only have traditional available. Super friendly and locally-owned, their cannolis are over the top delicious, their chocolate selection a must see and buy. They serve lunch and breakfast but we went there after breakfast so we focused on the pastries and chocolate, accompanied by a cup of fabulous cold brew coffee.
