My neighbor said he loved the process from start to finish and was happy with their work so I thought it would be a safe bet for me to use them. With dozens of roofers knocking on my door it's so hard to know who to trust. From the very first contact from His and Hers Rooftop Solutions, I was treated with respect, kept informed and even educated on the re-roofing and insurance process. Axel and Gabe were fantastic to work with. From first inspection to final install took about a month. Most of the delay was waiting for the city permit so I could submit the change to my HOA before I could book the install. This is the second roof I have put on my house and this time was so much better than the first. Install started around 7:30 am and they were done by early afternoon (For reference my house is around 4,000 S.F.) I was very happy with their attention to detail making sure my rooftop vents were installed plumb and gave my fireplace vent a fresh coat of paint so it blended better with the new roof. They also did a pre and post attic inspection and made sure any vents that got knocked loose were reconnected. Their clean-up process was thorough as they made sure to pick up every little scrap of trash and every nail. I used a bar magnet on the street in front of my house after they left and couldn't find any nails. Axel did a great job in keeping my out of pocket cost down even though I had a 2% deductible. Even with the lower cost, they installed a beautiful class 3 roof that should be more durable than my last. Gabe filled out the necessary paperwork that I needed to send to my insurance company to get me a reduction on my insurance premium. I highly recommend this company and they will be on my speed dial for the next time I need a replacement roof. They really made the whole process easier.

After months of excuses, lack of communication, and being repeatedly ghosted, I had lost almost all confidence in the company and began wondering if I had been taken advantage of. However, once Tyler, the owner, caught wind of it, he was upstanding, professional, and genuinely concerned about my experience. He personally took the time to understand the issues, stayed engaged throughout the process, and made sure things were addressed. From my perspective, it became clear that the information Tyler was receiving did not fully reflect what I had been experiencing as a customer. Once he became directly involved and saw the situation for himself, things changed dramatically. It's easy for an owner to stay removed from customer problems, but Tyler did the opposite. His willingness to take accountability, cut through the noise, and work toward a resolution is the reason I'm updating this review and giving credit where it's due.

Due to the time crunch and ongoing weather I had to go elsewhere that would submit to my mortgage company the documents they are requesting same day. When informing the sales person that I had to find someone who was able to get it done through my mortgage and all within the same day. He proceeds to say I "backstab" the deal. Mind you we have been trying to get this processing for a whole month now. I know sometimes paperwork can be tricky and processing things takes time but the way they talk to you after is unprofessional. I even messaged them on Facebook as well and relaying a message about the response but ended up getting a response saying "how can we help you if you never pick up or not respond" I cannot pick up my phone or respond during my work hours. I'm a healthcare worker and cannot answer as I am assisting patients. They were quick to try to turn it on me not addressing what I originally messaged them about. I never shifted blame on anyone but needed to do what I had to do in order to stop more potential damage to my home. I am usually not the one to post reviews but sometimes things need to get said. They have left an impression. You win some and you lose some, but does not mean you have to be bitter. Hopefully they can control their frustrations on past/potential clients in the future. He said he'd send us a quote in a few days. That was a Tuesday. After three days, I figured our quote got lost in the shuffle. We're all human so I left a message. "Hi, thanks for coming out to inspect our roof, we'd like to move forward with all the work you recommended. Looking forward to receiving the quote from you." :::::Crickets::::: I'm not sure what happened. It's sad because everything was perfect right up to the failure to respond.
