Apple sangria was a HUGE hit with our crowd. 4 out of the 5 of us went with the create your own cheese steak. You get to pick your own toppings and cheese so it's made just the way you like it. The Iron Cowboy hamburger was a good for the rest of our party except it needs Bbq sauce or just an extra something to take it from good to great. And, they didn't have any of the beers that I tried to order so hence the four star rating. The service was excellent! We were taken care of by Briana, she did a great job and she was delightful. We stopped by a few weeks ago to have dinner. Place was clean and service was great. We had the flat bread special (Wednesday night) and some drinks. It was nice to see some different kind of cocktails and not just the standard Vodka Mixers. All in all we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Will definitely be back! read more

Ordered the buffalo chicken salad. Not much of a salad just very basic. It is iceburg lettuce and the option of tomato and some shredded cheese and then the buffalo added on top for $11. Also, with the price of their wings I assumed the red garlic would have fresh garlic instead of the kind you get in the jar from the shelf at the grocery store but I was disappointed. Sweet Mary mother of Jesus! These are the biggest, boldest wings I've ever had! I love them! My family and I tried a whole variety of flavors. So many delicious choices: chocolate bacon, vinegar, ranch... and the classics, of course. The bacon cheeseburger I ate was one of the best I've ever had too. My cousin had a pumpkin cocktail in a fishbowl; holy crap it was delicious! The beer choices and other menu items were abundant and tasty, according to my crew. I can't wait to get back! Went to R Bar & Grill on wing night last week, and I'm so glad I did! Now I understand why this place gets all the hype....because it's deserving! The featured wing was Cinnamon French Toast and man, I hope that one shows up on the regular menu, because those alone are worth the drive! Also had the hot (which were HOT) and the peach BBQ wings. Very saucy but perfectly cooked and delish! $3.50 long island iced teas and very reasonable bottled beer prices will keep us coming back for more. Keep up the great work, R Bar! read more

We've been here several times and I always thought the food was good. Kind of a low-key,fun vibe atmosphere. We always sit at the pub tables in the bar area. We love the variety of sauces for the wings and always experiment with different ones each time we go. Maybe we were never paying attention before, but on our last trip...we popped in for a quick meal. We ordered waffle fries, 12 wings, boneless chicken bites, one lager, and one miller lite. Our bill was $33 and $40 with tip. For chicken wings! Seriously, this place is over-priced and unfortunately, we won't be coming back. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. read more

Wings are super delicious and very large wings. My family loves to come here. Waitress was super friendly! Only downside the lemonade, ice tea, and sodas are really bad. We all have to get water here cause there's nothing good. Food takes awhile too even when not busy. But overall good restaurant and great food! read more

Everyone says these are the best wings in town but I beg to differ. Not bad, just not as great as I've had. Service was fine, waitress was nice. Got a fish bowl but it wasn't really that great either. Honestly I came here expecting a lot but left feeling pretty sub-par about the place. Heard about The R Bar but never got around to going there until a friend visiting from CT said he was in the mood for wings and we decided to stop by. I cannot say enough about this place. The place was packed yet the bartender/waitress still made time to make sure we were made to feel as though we were regulars. The wing selection is crazy...like 60 different sauces. We split the orders and went with Caribbean Jerk, Teriyaki, Creamy Bacon Horseradish, and Sweet Chili Blue Cheese. OMG! The wings were wonderful and the Sweet Chili Blue Cheese (recommended by the bartender...Lauren) was to die for. Flew in from out of town - Denver, Colorado. This place is amazing! Great food! The wings are awesome - they have over 60 flavors. It's ridiculous!!!!!! The flavors I had were Hot, Cucumber Wasabi, Mango Habanero, and Sweet Chili Blue Cheese. My favorite was the Mango Habanero - sweet heat! But all of them were fantastic! :-) The service was more than great and I got here when the pumpkin beers are still hopping. Our waitress, Lindsey, was extremely helpful and pleasant. Party of 8, my family of 4 walked out with a 75.00 bill including a tip. We purchased OMG Burger asked for it to be pink, came well done, BLT came dry supposed to have mayo, mozzarella stick burger asked to be pink came well done. They all came with fries. Also got a chicken cheese steak, asked if it was a 12 inch reply was yes, no it was not. For almost 9.00 it was a 6 inch and the chicken was very dry. Fries were not included with this so needed to purchase on the side. Also ordered a 1/2 order of chipatole ranch chicken bites, nothing specular about sauce tasted as if it were the same kind as I buy from the store and the chicken was extremely dry. Beer was priced good. Fountain drinks were priced high for being a generic brand. If ur going to charge 2.75 for a fountain drink better have name brand. Friends purchased chicken cheese steak was also very dry, 6slices of pizza which were very sloppy, 2 orders of mozzarella sticks. Their bill was 54.00 with tip. Waitress could not get drink order correct after we corrected her 4 times. Not worth the price for the quality of the food. Then I had made a review on Facebook, which was then deleted, I then made another. Just really makes me wonder what the real rating for this restaurant is when negative reviews are being deleted. read more

Best wings we've had since Kimberly's left town! Over 50 flavor choices for wings - haven't had a bad one yet. Wings are meaty and juicy. Plenty of other delicious menu choices - I'd also recommend the nachos, fish taco, cheesesteaks (Sweet Bourbon!), burgers. It's all good! Staff is very attentive and pleasant. Great food/ Very Unconfortable. The place is small, dated, and dusty. The staff is ambivalent and seem to pay closer attention to regulars or maybe friends that come in. I've eaten here multiple times now. Most trips I've had wings but have had a good amount of non wing items. To start it has a cozy fun feel, has a family feel that I feel comfortable bringing young ones to but at the bar you can still have fun. A great mix of the two. There are enough TVs that you can watch sports if you wish. It can get busy but seems to handle it well. Service is nice and the refills are prompt which is important to me. But enough about that. Time for the food. I typically skip an appetizer but not here. They are totally worth it. They have a great selection of standard food and crazy twists on food so the hardest part about eating here is only eating one meal at a time. I have liked Every burger I've tried as well as the cheese steaks. I still haven't eaten everything that looks great on the menu but I plan to. Then there are the wings. To start I will say that I've had many dozens at this point. The wing quality is top notch. I haven't had any bad wings, all great size and cooked well. As for flavors they are always experimenting with specials to add to the menu. Which is impressive because they have so many. There are to many great ones to choose a favorite. None of them on the menu are bad, there have been a few I didn't like but the group did like so it is a matter of what each person likes. All of the flavors are executed well. Overall awesome place. If you do wings get multiple choices so you know you will find one you love! read more
