The interaction became further concerning when I briefly took a photo of publicly displayed flyers on the front counter and was immediately met with yelling and aggressive communication from staff. What is going on in this establishment that they are so afraid of cameras recording or anything that has to do with taking a photo inside the establish? That itself is raising red flags. They needs to come inspect this place. First impressions are important, especially in a pediatric healthcare environment. Based on this experience, I will be seeking care elsewhere.

I came here one time and never returned. The thing that really rubs me the wrong way is when I took my toddler here (2years old), they insisted that I had to do X-rays. I was pregnant at the time and also didn't see a need for x rays considering he is so little and wouldn't sit still anyways. They first told me the paperwork is only in case it was needed. Once we were brought in they proceeded to do the x ray anyways and asked me to step out of the room. My son obviously was throwing a fit upon me leaving. A moment later they let him into my room and said the x rays were done. At no point did they show me the x rays, which means 1. It wasn't done. 2. They exposed my son to x rays without the need or ability to successful obtain it. As a professional, they should have been aware and not even attempt instead of pushing me into it and telling me that the exposure is very low. When the dentist came in she never once showed me the x rays. Instead she gave him exam and prodded around his mouth before telling me he has two cavities because there is a sticky surface and recommended that we fill him. If there was an x ray it should be a dead giveaway. If there was no x ray they should've been honest about it and NOT EVEN TRY if they knew he wouldn't cooperate. Disgusting money grab and 100% unethical. Anyways I didn't feel comfortable and went to get a second opinion. The second office didn't even want to do an x ray and told me they wouldn't recommend it at his age bc unless he is able to sit still and bite down, it would be really hard to do and not worth exposure. Anyways we are 9 months out and still no cavities. Please get a second opinion and stand your ground if you are not comfortable with something the insist needs to be done. I was not going to write a review but they reignited my annoyance when they called me about a billing issue that apparently happened with the insurance and a check not being sent to the right address. Mind you my visit was over 6 months ago. They asked me to call the insurance and have the check resent. I feel like this was a bad experience from beginning to end.

This review is long overdue. Our son and daughter, now ages 18 & 13 have been treated by Dr. Richardson since they were in kindergarten. Ease of Appointment: 3/4 stars (depending on the season) Comfortable Office: 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Advanced Tech.: 5 stars Caring Manner of doctor: 5 stars Caring Manner of staff: 5 stars Pain Minimized: 5 stars Competency: Outstanding The majority of our specialist are at UCLA and after my son's not so pleasant experience with 2 local pediatric dentists, we called UCLA looking for a referral. We were given a name but before the call ended, an anesthesiologist came on the line and gave us Dr. Richardson's name, he suggested trying out both dentists. After the first appointment and treatment, the rest is history. We never made it to the other dentist's office. My son and daughter adored Dr. Richardson and the staff. All anxiety and fear of pain melted away. The doctor and staff are competent, the work done is professional and the attentiveness, genuine. It's been at least 10 years and I have yet to see the doctor, technicians or front staff in any kind of negative mood, if they ever had a tough day - I never knew. Dr. Richardson has remained as approachable as the day of our initial new patient visit. He still takes the time to listen, answer questions, and address concerns directly to my son and daughter. We trust him and most importantly, our children trust him. So, Dr. Richardson and his professional team are well worth the 85 miles and 91 fwy we drive to get there from Palm Springs. read more

I cannot say enough about how well we were treated by Dr. Richardson and his great staff! We were visiting from Phoenix for a long weekend. My son woke up with a swollen jaw which was caused by an infected tooth. Our pediatric dentist in Phoenix found Dr. Richardson for us. He was able to see us within 2 hours of the phone call. I just want to thank Dr. Richardson and his entire office for taking care of us while we visited Corona. They treated us like we were regular patients. My son was deathly scared of dentists and this was only his 3rd visit to a dentist. The entire office made him feel unique and special which made it a good experience. Dr. Richardson was thorough and honest with his assessment. He knew we were in the area for the weekend, so he personally called me on my cell phone to see how my son was on a Saturday. Amazing pediatric dentist!!!! My son loves Dr. Richardson's office! His staff is wonderful and always nice. It's like they actually enjoy their job! I cannot imagine having to take my son anywhere else. Our insurance doesn't cover him, but I refuse to have my son go anywhere else and have a negative experience when he trusts Dr. Richardson so much. Visited this office as a prospective new patient for my daughter after recently moving to the area…read more Unfortunately, the professionalism and customer service at the front desk from LUCY were extremely poor & embarrassing to have such someone as the face of the establishment greeting your potential patients or worse of all you're returning regulars yikes The employee working the front desk did not greet or properly assist upon arrival and remained seated throughout the interaction! while requesting documents from across the office she sat in her little rolling chair. The entire time made me walk every single card and document to her mind. You the chair that she's sitting in is all the way in the back she's not even walking up to the counter to greet or take paperwork or cards from people she's sitting there on her phone making people walk up to her disgusting, these are the type of people you guys hire to be the face of your business? Yikes . When asked about insurance verification alternatives, no effort was made to provide assistance or solutions. The interaction became further concerning when I briefly took a photo of publicly displayed flyers on the front counter and was immediately met with yelling and aggressive communication from staff. What is going on in this establishment that they are so afraid of cameras recording or anything that has to do with taking a photo inside the establish? That itself is raising red flags. They needs to come inspect this place. First impressions are important, especially in a pediatric healthcare environment. Based on this experience, I will be seeking care elsewhere.

Fraudulent billing from this place, we (family of three) set up an appointment for a dental…read morecleaning, they admitted us, took some X-ray's, they performed the cleaning for my daughter and for my wife and I they said our teeth were very clean but the dentist recommended us a deep cleaning which we had a second opinion somewhere else and they said we do not need that. So we received the itemized statement from our dental insurance and this place charged $1,403 for each of us only for some X-rays. We do not recommend this place at all. Always they try to over charge you for everything.
