    Nice clean room
    Denise T.

I hadn't been to the new location since they've moved. It's nice, bright and clean. A separate waiting room for sick, and one for well visits or injuries. Front desk still isn't super friendly but I kind of get it...waiting room full of sick patients with at least a 2 hour wait...patients get frustrated and take it out on them - I get it, but with that said - front desk gals please show kindness it really doesn't take much to show kindness and compassion. Once seated in a room it took a bit longer. Doctor was super friendly, efficient and took care of us. Three hour wait all in all for a maybe ten minute visit with the doctor - not sure why the wait is so long since they don't spend long in the room lol. Bottom line for us - we expected a long wait, the doctor was nice...what more could you ask for. Side note - there was a patient vomiting in the waiting room, another was sweating so bad from a fever you could see it beaded up...neither patient was wearing a mask...come to think of it not one single patient other than us was wearing a mask in the sick area...not cool, definitely should be enforced this time of year with flu ramping up. I don't care what you call it - germs are germs and sick is sick...enforce a mask or get them to a room stat...

Card of where urgent care is.

Sign to be placed in the right building as it is a urgent care. People don't want to go from building to building looking for care when they are in pain. We had to leave from office to go another office to have X-rays done. Wow this isn't days where everything is in one place. This urgent care is not recommended go straight to hospital for better care. No wonder there wasn't anyone in waiting room."""

I came into Citrus Valley Urgent Care earlier today. This is my second time coming to Citrus Valley Urgent Care. The first time, which was a few years ago, I had twisted my ankle and had swelling. I didn't have any issues with my visit and was prescribed something for the pain and swelling. Today, I was experiencing symptoms that indicated an infection. I woke up at around 3am and was in lots of pain. Felt dizzy and sick. Had burning, swelling and was urinating blood. So I looked around the area for a 24 hour urgent care. Unfortunately I couldn't find any local that we open. I called Corona Regional and they told me the ER is for trauma and life threatening issues. And they directed me to go to urgent care. I called the on-call Physician for Citrus Valley Urgent Care and was told that they open at 8am. So I got to Citrus Valley at 7:30am to be early. I figured I wanted to get there early to be first in line. When I arrived the sign on the door said they opened at 9am............... If they don't open until 9am then WHY did the on-call medical staff tell me 8am?! This was extremely frustrating. So I sat there, in pain and uncomfortable, for an hour and a half outside the urgent care until they opened. They finally opened. Front desk is definitely lacking personal skills. I understand that it is urgent care and you gotta get people in and out quick, but some kindness would be nice. Anyway, I was just honestly happy to be inside and one step closer to seeing the doctor. Medical assistant was nice and worked very quickly. She took my blood pressure, took my urine sample and had the room setup in no time. She definitely was rushing me through the process. Which is fine I guess, but my fear is that something might be forgotten or mistakes can be made that way. Doctor David Pham came into the room after looking at my urine sample and asked some questions. He was nice and very straight forward. But also seemed to rush the process and try to get me out of there quick. Which again, I understand. I guess I was just surprised that he didn't want to look at the infected area. I asked if he wanted to look and he said no because he could see that I have a urinary tract infection from the urine sample. He sent over an antibiotic and steroid to the pharmacy. He was quick about that too, which I did appreciate very much. In the end, I got the medical treatment I needed. And I'm thankful for that. Was the customer service great? No. It was short and to the point, get ya in and get ya out type of vibe. Which is fine as long as they don't miss things or diagnose wrong. I can look past the lack of warmth and empathy, as long as I get good medical treatment. Thank you Doctor David Pham. I hope these medications clear up the infection quickly.

I checked in for an appointment 10 minutes earlier and my estimated wait time was 27-42 minutes even though I had an appointment. They send you a text message before your assigned appointment explains that if you are 10 minutes late your appointment will be canceled. But when you arrive they want your payment upfront. Should waive payment if they are over 10 minutes from your assigned appointment. However, their monitor is very inaccurate and misleading as it informs you in real-time what approximate wait time is. The problem is that is was way off. I was not called into the office until 1 hour and 18 minutes. Then it took another 19 minutes for the physician to see me in the exam room. Dr was friendly and I diagnosed and exited the room after 2 minutes after being seen. A couple observations were made from this experience. 1. You are better off getting a better wait time but reporting in person and returning. 2. Just go to ER. I did not see the benefit for making an online appointment. Total waste of time! This is so sad because the VA contracts with this establishment and after this experience I am writing to the VA to inform that they should not renew and future contracts if this is how they treat veterans! I literally could have waited less by driving to the VA hospital ER and getting a better treatment.

Instead, I was met by a doctor (a tall woman who refused to provide her name) who was aggressive and unprofessional. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was not properly evaluated or treated. Instead of addressing my symptoms, she repeatedly attempted to push unrelated services, which made the visit feel more like a sales pitch than a medical appointment. Refusing to appropriately evaluate and treat a patient presenting with clear symptoms comes in way below the standard of care and raises serious concerns about patient safety and professional conduct. I left without receiving the care I needed for what should have been a straightforward issue. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and properly treated this experience failed on all three. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Medical Board of California so this incident is documented and reviewed.

My mom was extremely appreciative, and so was I. The entire staff on the unit was wonderful, but Crystal truly went above and beyond. Her compassion, attentiveness, and willingness to advocate for her patient made a difficult situation much more comfortable. I would also like to recognize the echo technician who cared for my mom. She had initially requested a female technician, but his kindness, professionalism, and respectful demeanor immediately put her at ease. He earned her trust right away, and she felt completely comfortable in his care. His professionalism and compassionate approach made a lasting impression on both of us. He efficiently removed the wax from my ear, restoring my hearing, and prescribed antibiotics to alleviate the pain. I spent nearly four hours there, during which all the staff were courteous.   Also I was so hungry and feeling dizzy and the nurse got me a sandwich that was so nice from my nurse she was amazing The check-in process is efficient; your name is recorded, after which a nurse calls you to assess your vitals and inquire about the purpose of your visit. I propose an enhancement of privacy; now, all conversations are audible, since we are situated in an open waiting area where others can overhear personal reasons for seeing the doctor, resulting in a complete lack of privacy. I could discern the rationale and concerns of each individual; yet, that location is located at the entryway, compromising privacy since it exposes one's affairs to public knowledge. The check-in process for payment is efficient, and the staff is kind while recording your insurance information. Overall, everyone is polite and professional. I appreciate the kindness of the staff; every individual, including the security guard who records your name, was pleasant and amiable. The emergency room is clean, the bathrooms are well-maintained, and the whole service is commendable. The chairs are comfortable, thankfully not made of harsh plastic, which enhances the experience. Thank you. To the Manager: Please establish a more secluded area for the check-in process, as it now occurs in a public space where anyone may overhear your detailed conversations with the nurse. Exceptional emergency room, outstanding nurses, staff, and PA Daniel. Scott exhibited a high level of professionalism and contributed to my improved well-being.
