As long as I've lived in my home, I've called RK Knight for all of my plumbing needs. They have always been responsive, professional yet personable, efficient, and fair with their prices. Last week I had to take a cold shower because I didn't have hot water. I called RK Knight and Ronnie scheduled me for the afternoon. A little while later he called back to say that his technician completed his current job earlier than expected and was it ok if he came early. Of course! Memo and Robert (apprentice) showed up and immediately put on those little booties to come into my house. It's the small things that make a difference. I explained what was going on and we went out to look at the water heater (which RK Knight had installed back in 2022). Turns out the pilot had gone out. Memo offered to drain the water heater at no charge; I said of course I'll pay you for it. They also changed out the drain bib. Through this process we talked about waterless heating systems, filtration systems (Whittier's water is hard and the WORST), and repiping. Ronnie and Memo went far and beyond to resolve my issue with a leaky Rohl kitchen faucet I have owned for over 10 years. I didn't save any paperwork or receipts when I bought the faucet, I don't know what model number it is. Ronnie contacted Rohl, got them to honor their lifetime warranty, figured out what model it was and ordered the parts from Rohl. Rohl sent out the wrong parts 3 times and Memo came out 3 times, spoke to Rohl and Mac Gyvered the faucet so we can use it while the parts came in. The price was reasonable considering I didn't have to find another faucet to match the holes in the counter or drill new holes to match a new faucet. I will definitely use them again, when I have plumbing issues. read more

We hired this RK Knight as we had seen them in our neighborhood. Sorry we did, their work was ok, cut five holls to find a hissing leak in the wall. They sent their drywall guy, the guy did a sloppy job, the wall has the patching tape showing, the plaster is left in glops in corners and edges. The faint orange peel is not complete on the wall, some smoothed out flat. Called Ronnie owner, he said he would send another dry wall guy to fix the mess. Never happened, he sent a guy who said, oh, just paint over the tape and fix yourself???? Several other neighbors said, oh no, I had bad experiences from them as well. read more

Had a slow drain so called RK Knight who were extremely responsive and willing to come out same day. Our schedule ended up being too tight to accommodate that, but we were very appreciative of how quickly they were willing to come out. We were provided a standard window of time and about halfway through that window received a friendly call, asking if we were ready for the plumber to come by. It was a really nice touch considering they didn't have to do that since we were given a window time that we need to expect the plumber. We also received a text with a picture of the plumber who would be coming to our door, which was also a really nice touch. Memo came to the door and was both incredibly polite and professional. He took extra care to keep shoe covers on while in and out of the house, even though he had to make several trips. In addition to that, I really appreciated the way he took time to educate me on our household plumbing & how to best take care of it moving forward. I recently had an unfortunate situation of a mainline stoppage,so decided to call R.K Knight because of seeing their great reviews. The technician who came out, Memo, was very personable and arrived at the beginning of time frame that was said which was great, bonus points there, since I hate waiting around. I described the issue with Memo, and he instantly was able to pinpoint what was the issue could be. Before he began to proceed, Memo explained thoroughly what his plan of action step by step and also gave recommendations of future preventative maintenance plans, since the mainline stoppage was becoming a yearly occurrence. He took the time to eloquently explain 3 different solution plans, that being said, I requested a estimate for one of said recommendations. Memo took the time to email me a complete step by step estimate of description of the job and for parts and labor for installation of a 4in. Clean out on sewer line.
