I called a plumber service before Drainiacs. After all the banging to remove bathtub drain, the person says your trap is broken. We need to break into your wall. I had a leak from a toilet sewer line and thought it might be an under slab leak so called Draniacs Plumbing since they handle trenchless repair. They were able to quickly come out to evaluate and ran a camera probe through the cleanout and discovered problem was actually a split pipe on outside wall and not in or under slab. Scheduled the repair for the next day and the technician was very good at containing the mess caused by cutting out stucco and did a great job on the repair with minimal damage to walls, particularly the interior walls and cabinets. Next day the crew that I arranged through Drainiacs came out to repair the stucco wall and looks great. I was very pleased with Drainiacs' professionalism, their extra effort to minimize the damage and mess caused by repair, and the clean up afterwards, and their friendly workers. Our water heater began to leak so I called Daniel Cordova Plumbing yesterday. They advised they would send a technician the following morning to see if it could be repaired or if it would need to be replaced. The technician Rick did a thorough inspection and informed me that, unfortunately, the whole unit had to be replaced. Once he figured that out, they sent Walter out to our home to remove our previous water heater and install a new one. We had a pipe leak a month ago and had another plumber find the leak and fix the manifold. Two weeks later we noticed that our water pressure was still dropping and the original plumber confirmed that there's probably a leak in our hot water line. Called Daniel Cordova Plumbing because we finally decided to just re-pipe/re-route the pipes in our ~2,000 sq. ft. house. Daniel Cordova, himself, went out to the house the same day I called and took a look around. Gave me a quote which was considerably cheaper than the other plumber and offered a 15 year warranty on their work. Got a little pressure to sign so that work could get started right away, (it was Wednesday afternoon and we really wanted to get work started Thursday or Friday) but despite me signing, work didn't get started until Monday. The office lady said they didn't want to drag mud in and out of the house because it was supposed to rain heavily. Ok, we waited until Monday morning. The seven men crew arrived at 0800, re-piped & re-routed the house with MOSTLY pex (there still has to be SOME copper pipes that are exposed), and was out of the house by 1:30 pm. Pros: 1) Quick response 2) Reasonably priced (not the cheapest & not the most expensive) 3) 15 year warranty on their work 4) Very quick and efficient work Cons: 1) The delay in actual work being done caused major delays in the rest of the repairs 2) There's no direct way of contacting any of the plumbers...you call the office and the secretaries at the office leave a message for Daniel or whichever plumber you're trying to get a hold of (I don't know why you can't call them directly instead of being treated like a solicitor where they have to screen their calls) 3) Despite paying for clean up, they left trash in my garage, didn't return furniture that they had moved (they left it in the third car garage, blocking my husband's parking space, making me lug around heavy-ish items), there were three screws lying around the kitchen counter and floor & one screw was in our garbage disposal - needing to be pulled out, and there were dirty water stains in our laundry room ceiling, walls, and doors, and one of the guys was smoking cigarettes and just threw their butts in the street outside of our house. Our neighborhood is not your trash dump. 4) $99 diagnostic fee - he didn't diagnose anything, just walked around the house and we still had to pay for his visit. After I signed the check and paid the $10,000+ for the re-pipe-re-route, I haven't heard from Daniel Cordova regarding my complaints on the cleanliness of his crew. read more
