I needed a well pump replacement estimate. The owner came out and as we were talking I was…read moreinforming him of a pressure situation I was having. He wanted to see the cycle stop valve that was just installed. He then wanted me to open up faucets in the house as he started to adjust the pressure on the valve. So after about 1/2 hour the pressure was adjusted correctly. So he also inspected the voltage and amp draw from my well pump and informed me that the pump was drawing more amps because with age they do that. So when we were walking out I essentially gave him a blank check because I didn't ask before now how much this was gonna cost me. My fault for letting him put hands on before an estimate was given! $325 for a simple adjustment or free adjustment if paying $1900 for a well pump replacement. Ouch. Ok. Agreed. Says he wanted $1000. down and the rest when completed. I agreed. Have him my CC info. About an hour later, all $1900 was taken off my card. Hmm Fast forward to the day of install. The 2 gentlemen. Very nice. Pulled my pump. Did all that needed to be done. When finishing up, didn't seat the wellhead cap on correctly. Nor did they connect the pvc pipe that the electrical wires run correctly. Oh, and no gasket. So it leaked water for almost 2 months from the top of the wellhead. Water draining into the electrical pipe. Black tape around the top of it. Not a very professional job by any means. Me, a first time well owner. Not knowing any better until now (5months later) that they should have run the well BEFORE re connecting to the house!! Running it to get the mud and crap out of the line so that crap( mud , clay) do not end up in your acid neutralizer and all your filters and, not to mention your water softener!! Oh ya, and your water heater!!!! It cost me just over $500 to get all of the media and resin replaced and my water heater flushed and sucked out! The mud and clay that was cooking in my water heater was smelling worse and worse. It was disgusting! I should have taken a picture of a sock type filter I had. It was full to the top with mud and clay. I can only imagine what would have happened if we would have drank this water. Live and learn every day! That's the only way one can be smarter! There were red flags all over this. Should have known.

The technician was nice and came over to look and provided a cost (165) for repair, which I kindly agreed upon and he mentioned that he had to order parts. Well after a week and a half he visited today did the install and then says the price is now 215. I'm not happy with how a company does business in that manner. Personally I should have known better and asked for the order in writing but I presumed that they were of a good and trustworthy company so I didn't. Commitment and integrity I feel is lacking. Should have honored the price agreed upon. And if there was such a difference between the two should have made me aware prior to doing the job not after. I called the office and ha e not heard back from the company. Not sure I would feel comfortable recommending them or even considering them back for more work. And I deeply regret calling them. The week before Thanksgiving, I requested service on 3 toilets in my home to have the tank parts replaced. I was having family coming and wanted the work completed before they arrived. They sent Michael to my home. He provided a quote just under $1,300 for the repair, advising that there could possibly be damage if I chose to go this way, and they would not be responsible if that happened. He provided a quote of $$2,250 to replace all 3 toilets with an American Standard model, and said there would not be any damage. He said he could do it that day, so I reluctantly agreed to have them replaced. He said it would take 3 hours. His only business in my basement storage room was to turn off the main water valve. However, I should have paid more attention to his whereabouts. I thought it odd that he carried out a white canvas bag that appeared stuffed with something, and I wish I had stopped him to ask what was in the bag. I also wish I had gone into the basement and checked to see if anything was missing before he left. I thought it odd that he didn't depart after he finished working. Another Precision Plumbing van pulled up and parked in front of my house. I now wish I had gone outside. At a later date, I went down to the basement to get Christmas decorations and discovered many, many items, were missing from the storage room where the water main is located. I was very upset about this and called Precision Plumbing and left a voicemail for someone to call me. Candace, the former owner's sister now runs the company. She called me back and said she spoke with Michael and he denied taking the items and also denied there was another company vehicle at my home that night. However, after checking GPS, she confirmed with me that there was another company van at my home, just as I saw and described. I reported the theft to the county sheriff's office. They prepared a report and recommended I install cameras to watch service providers. I'm letting people know they should not be shy about watching over people working in their home. I advise having additional people on hand to watch with you. It's getting to where people know they can take from others and get away with it. I would not recommend using this company for this reason.
