Another company wanted more than $300 to "repair" the leak, but pushed the almost $600 to replace the spigot, with added costs for repairing drywall. I called Edwards Plumbing and Electric. Scott said that he had a repair kit that should fix the problem. He texted that he was enroute. He arrived, diagnosed the problem and quickly removed the spigot stem, replaced worn out parts from the kit and reinstalled it. It worked great and the cost was significantly lower than other estimates - significantly. I will definitely contact him again.

I needed an utility sink hooked up and a steam attachment for my dryer. Dan went the extra mile and made sure the sink was level and properly fitted. He walked me through the whole process of what he was going to do and it was awesome. He further helped me to understand how some oft he things worked in my new home as it was a new build's and I was unfamiliar with a lot of the nuances of the water tank and associated items. The technician was nice and came over to look and provided a cost (165) for repair, which I kindly agreed upon and he mentioned that he had to order parts. Well after a week and a half he visited today did the install and then says the price is now 215. I'm not happy with how a company does business in that manner. Personally I should have known better and asked for the order in writing but I presumed that they were of a good and trustworthy company so I didn't. Commitment and integrity I feel is lacking. Should have honored the price agreed upon. And if there was such a difference between the two should have made me aware prior to doing the job not after. I called the office and ha e not heard back from the company. Not sure I would feel comfortable recommending them or even considering them back for more work.
