when i go the food is normally good. I normally order pizza crispy but keep in mind that u don't want it too crispy and they burnt the bottom of the pizza and it tasted questionable. The service and atmosphere were very good also. read more

We were traveling home and needed to find a place to eat that was family friendly and I remembered seeing a video on this place. It is a casual pizza shop and italian eatery. They have a case of salads, cold sandwiches, heat and eat, desserts and market. They offer a selection of slices or order off the menu. We tried the Roman style cheese pizza, small ny pepperoni and sausage and a kids pasta/meatball. Everything was so delicious, the roman pizza was best pizza ive had in awhile, light & airy. We also had to try the homemade tiramisu, very tasty as well. We will be back for sure! read more

Great friendly staff and one of the best NY Style pies in Ohio. Riding also offers pizza by the slice which is a nice treat in that most area pizza places don't. Roman mushroom pizza. I added x cheese add blk olives. Very dry . Not nearly enough garlic sauce. Tasted like thick flatbread with toppings!!!. Very disappointing . My husbands pizza was sad looking. Reg pizza either sausage and pepperoni. Looked like gas station pizza. I also bought desserts , frozen and cannolis. Plus frozen wedding soup. I spent almost $70. I've had the Roman pizza from the previous owner and it was great. I tried the Roman pizza form the new ownership and it was dry, not much sauce, and the crust was so hard I couldn't chew it. I cut it off and gave it to the dogs. I will not order pizza from there again. Sad. read more

We've visited this place for lunch on a couple of different occasions but this was our first time ordering a take out 16"pepperoni and mushroom NY style pizza. We've been looking for this pizza in the Youngstown area since we moved from Pittsburgh 15 years ago. The crust was chewy and fresh. The sauce is tangy with the perfect mount of garlic and spices. I stopped in for the Coffee Trail, a fundraiser for the Rescue Mission. While getting my cup of coffee, I decided to pick up dinner. I got 2 NY style slices, 2 Roman style slices, macaroni and cheese, and garlic greens. It was enough food for two dinners for my family of 3. Total around $40. Food was great! The Roman pizza crust will be something I crave. It's so chewy and flavorful. The woman helping me was so friendly and even offered to help me carry everything out (two pizza boxes, bag of food, coffee, and a toddler in my arms). Don't let the grocery in the name fool you- you'll get some of the best pizza (Roman style) around and their pressed sandwiches are sooooo yummy.
