This is such a cute place! Totally passed the boba vibe check and the service was wonderful. There's plenty of seating which makes it a nice hang out. We came on a weekday and didn't have trouble finding parking. We had a large group with kids and everyone was super accommodating and patiently waited for all the kids to put in their order. I liked the sugar level options so we could limit the sweetness on the drinks. The blended drinks were slightly icy and had some large chunks of ice which was my only complaint. It has a nutty and earthy taste but no bitterness! I've tried most of the tea places in the Honolulu area and drank too much overly bitter drinks. Anyway, the quality of boba is wonderful. I ended up with the peach tea with white boba and it was so good. The texture of the boba is perfect and it paired perfectly with the tea. We originally came do the buckwheat milk tea, but they sadly ran out; however, the peach tea was a great substitute. So go early to ensure what you're craving is in stock! The staff is very patient and friendly, with the female staff being more personable. The atmosphere is warm with dimmer lighting but not very many tables and chairs to spend a lot of time here (which is also probably good for the parking situation). The interior is cool and decorated so fun and there is a cooler of some pickled veggies you can buy as well as a merch from the spot. We came to Rabbit Rabbit Tea for a quick pick me up treat and it didn't disappoint. It's been quite long since I've been here and I've only been to the Aiea location but it closed down a while ago. We got the tiramisu milk tea and I think the taro cookie milk tea, both with boba. Both of the milk tea drinks were so good! I liked how the tiramisu milk tea had a hint of a coffee taste and was still sweet. I was also really impressed by the taro cookie milk tea! The flavor literally tasted like Oreo cookie pieces were in there too. Boba was nice and chewy without it being too hard or too soft. ***EXPERIENCE BASED ON ICE CREAM ONLY*** I've dined in this area so many times that I've seen Rabbit Rabbit Tea (RRT) but never stepped foot inside as I thought they are just another boba and milk tea shop. But step in a foodie friend who swears the best Kona coffee ice cream, as Butterfly Ice Cream, after they closed its doors in Kaka'ako, is offered here. I've seen his posts on social media, so I just had to investigate. Located near the Mauka corner of S King St and University Ave with neighbors of Fukuya Deli, Bangkok Chef and La Ciccia, RRT currently has this one location as their Aiea store closed in Oct 2023. RRT hails from Taipei in 2108 and has over 20 locations in Taiwan. They have expanded overseas in Hong Kong, Japan, Shanghai, and the USA (California, Washington, New York, and Hawaii). They are known for innovative and bright colored drinks using 9 different tea bases. While waiting in line, my buddy and I also noticed their offerings of sweet, steamed buns with cute designs of onigiri, boba milk tea, apple, piggy, rabbit, penguin, blue sky and a kitty (?). Keep in mind that they are either sweet or plain. During my time there I witnessed some customers asking for char siu filling. I on the other hand, came for their ice cream. My buddy and I had just got through eating lunch from across the street and strategically saved some room for dessert. I got a double scoop of Kona Coffee ice cream and the seasonal flavor of Egg Nog in a cup. You also have the option of a waffle cone for $1 more. When we got there, you had a cashier and 2 counter staff. We both ordered double scoops in a cup and for some odd reason it took a long time (more than 5 mins) for us to get our ice cream. We watched the staff in action as they just stood by the ice cream section. ***crickets chirping*** THE VERDICT: The ice cream was okay but nothing to write home about. I can think of better places to go for ice cream. As for my cup, I wish the staff would have placed the stronger flavor of Kona coffee on the bottom and the Egg Nog on top. By the time I reached to the Egg Nog, my mouth still had the strong coffee residual taste, and I could barely taste the Egg Nog flavor. We got there at 1pm and probably sat down for about 15mins. Indeed the store had good foot traffic of people coming in but noticed their dining section to the right was closed. The lights were all off and the chairs were stacked on the tables. It was dark and not welcoming. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience as I had high expectations for the ice cream at RRT. On my next visit I'll pass on the ice cream and go for a drink instead. read more

I made sure to fit a visit into this place on my recent trip but to my sadness found out that they sold out of all of their cute animal buns with no idea of when they'd get more in. My drink tasted good but I give them 4 stars for hyping up their animal buns across their socials but not having any and having no idea when they get more in. Cute brightly lit corner spot right near University that screams try one of our drinks. I mobile ordered on the way there and our drinks were made quickly. We walked in just as it was being finished up. The staff were friendly and thanked us as we were handed our drinks. I ordered their English Earl Grey Milk Tea with strawberry foam and boba. I discovered Rabbit Rabbit only a couple of days ago, but from other reviews it seems they have been around for a while and have amassed some loyalists who are happy they're now in this part of the island. I can see why; many boba tea shops offer similar drinks and are therefore somewhat forgettable. Or maybe they have such a long list that it's less intimidating to stick to the familiar. RRT offers uncommon teas and drink combinations, and the ones I've sampled are tasty and different. So far I've sampled: -Brown Sugar Boba with Fresh Milk (no caffeine, cannot adjust sugar sweetness, only amount of brown sugar syrup) - RR Signature Fresh Fruits Tea with slices of citrus fruits and apple (refreshing!) - Iron Buddha (aka tieguanyin, which maybe should have been Iron Goddess? which has Amazonian warrior vibes imo haha) - Jade Green, which reminds me of canned Heaven and Earth jasmine green tea) Toppings-wise, so far I've tried the golden amber boba (if I recall correctly, white tapioca balls cooked in rock sugar for less sweetness) and the brown sugar boba. I prefer the golden amber to the brown sugar boba coz they're bouncier. I am intrigued by the grass jelly reviews so that might be next. Today I purchased the Dragon Boat Combo (zongzi + kiddie tea, $9.75) because it's the Dragon Boat Festival and of course I forgot to get zongzi. Luckily I recalled seeing the flyer and called to confirm they're still available. I was a little taken aback that the ala carte price per zongzi is $5.75. But what to do? Might as well get the combo! Although I realized later I didn't have to.., (fell for another marketing ploy... ah well) Zongzi filling includes mushrooms (Chinese/shiitake, looks like), one chunk of well-seasoned pork (kakuni-flavor but not as tender), dried shrimp, and one whole salted egg yolk. It was flavorful, so I have no complaints! The two girls I've encountered were both patient and kind. I tend to ask many questions when I'm trying new things! Thumbs up for everything, despite the slightly elevated price points, which another Yelper pointed out as well. The merchandise are no exception. I'm not familiar with the Egghead characters, but they seem to be picking their nose in the illustrations?! Oh they've got ice cream too, which I wouldn't mind getting next time. Best time to go, for less traffic/more parking spaces, I think might be between 3:00 and 5:00. The grand opening promotion was awesome but I came back and I was absolutely blown away. They are right next to what used to be Sushi King (R.I.P) off of King St, right next to Fukuya. They do have a little parking lot, which surprisingly has a good amount of stalls, but you can also park on the street (meter). The grand opening special was $1 Kiddie Size Assam Milk Tea or the Golden Jinxuan Oolong Pure Tea. I got to try both. I must say, their milk tea is definitely on the creamy, milky side. I believe I got 50% sweetness and that was just right, for me. I don't like drinks being too sweet but the 50% had a perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and tea-y. The Golden Jinxuan Oolong was very refreshing and delightful. Somewhat of a strong tea flavor, but not in a bitter way. Yet there was sweetness to balance the strong tea flavor. I liked it! No, but I came back recently and ordered their Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea because the worker said they were the only ones on the island who had this and I was sold. You're probably thinking "buckwheat? - bleh"! No - please don't let that sway you because it was so unique! It indeed has this wonderful wheat-y flavor that was so delicious and complimenting to the sweetness of the milk tea. I got this at 50% and it was PERFECT. Blown away, that's for sure. Prices are on-point. About the average prices of milk tea these days. In fact, they're on the "lower end" as I've seen many places price their milk tea at $5 minimum. If you want to try something new and unique, I highly recommend the Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea (50% if you don't like it too sweet). Rabbit Rabbit Tea is a wonderful addition to the playing field of milk tea and I think they're here to stay in town! I've been eyeing up Rabbit Rabbit Tea since they only had one location in Aiea but had never had the chance to go. I was in town and looking for boba and finally got to try their new town location. They opened next to Sushi King, off King St, which I believe is closing soon unfortunately. I was going to get another tea drink but quickly changed my mind when I saw their "top 5" list pop up. I opted for the Rabbit Signature tea. It's some kind of tea I can't pronounce with apple, orange and lemon slices. I added golden boba, which was really good. The drink itself was so refreshing and definitely something I would get again. Parking is free and fairly ample and I would think will open even more once Sushi King closes.
