Came upon the shop after researching what to do that is walkable after visiting the Honolulu Museum of Art. This place did not disappoint at all! The prices were reasonable for the size of the drinks (I believe the standard 24 oz was $7) There was one lady working the register and making the drinks, but I only had one other person before me so it did not take too long considering. I got a coconut lychee smoothie with lychee jellies and she was very generous with the amount of jellies. It was a delicious combo and refreshing from the heat, I just wish it didn't seem to melt so fast. The inside was also fresh and it was nice seeing all of that fresh produce. They even had various food items for sale.

This place is great. Parking can be tough because the lot is small but if it's not too busy it's fine. Depending on who is working is the experience you will get. Our lady didn't speak a lot of English and it felt like when we said "less peanut butter" or "less ginger" she would give us more? The smoothies weren't great but we've had better experiences here. Just make sure you know what you want and be insistent that you get it! If you bring back the jars your smoothie will be $8 instead of $12, which feels pretty cheap these days for a smoothie. There's only 1 place to sit in the shop, it's quite small.

Love me a good ol'fashion mom & pop shop! They don't skimp on fresh in their shop name. Whole fruits, freeze dried fruit, sliced and ready to-go fruit is available for purchase. Menu selection is packed w/ all kine! You can even build your own. $7 for 24oz $10 for 32oz (refillable for $7) Parking is slightly tight and entrance is on S. Beretania right after the shop so drive slow to see it. Reverse parking recommended to make easy exit. Shop owner is a sweet lady! It's just her so be patient and kind. The wait is not long. They use real fruit for their smoothies, non of that fake syrup stuff, you can taste the difference. No sit down area, it's an order to go kinda spot. My faves so far: Freeze dried fruit packet $15, dragonfruit & strawberry smoothie $7. Definitely returning!

The only smoothie spot I will be going to from now on. Recently discovered Fancy Fresh Food Shop (not even through social media) and I don't know what rock I've been living under my entire life lol. My bf and I got the reusable jars so we could come back for $7 refills. This smoothie is such a good deal, idk if you can find fresh fruit smoothies for this price anywhere else on the island. My first time here I got the strawberry lychee, which was super good!! If you want a less sweet option the passion fruit mango has more of a tang/tartness. We got lucky the first time we came (on a Sunday morning), as there was no line. The second time we came there was a wait of about 10 people in front of us!! I'm told that's pretty normal for this shop. While waiting in line the sweet owner handed out samples of the strawberry blueberry smoothie--also amazing and a combination I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. The strawberry guava and strawberry banana smoothies are also as you might guess SO good. 10/10 I will be coming back with my reusable jar soon!!

Yay, I got my passion fruit mango drink

Fancy Fresh Food Shop is great, a no frills Honolulu place for delicious freshly made juice. They have fresh fruits for sale as well. Can't wait to get the passion fruit mango again.

BEST SMOOTHIES I'VE EVER HAD. I don't even ~really~ gravitate towards smoothies in general but I read so many reviews and saw videos of how great this place was and knew I had to try it and WOW i'm so glad I did. These smoothies are SO GOOD. Literally life changing. As many reviews have stated, this place is no-frills. It's a small shop, lined with fresh fruits. There's one table with two stools, this is more of a grab and go situation. These smoothies are such a good deal - $7 for 24oz is great, $10 for 32oz in a reusable jar (and $7 for the 32oz if you bring back that jar each time!) !!! Service is super quick, these aunties know how to whip up a smoothie! The papaya mango milk smoothie is absolutely delicioussssssss. You can taste how fresh the fruit is in each sip. So refreshing. Be wary - parking can be tough since it's on the street, especially if it's a weekend or a prime time during the day --- however, it's worth it! Would 1000% come here again.

Love this place! I also love how clean the inside is. Not a single fruit fly! Even with all that fresh fruit! I've made it a point to try something different everytime we go, but my boyfriend always gets the same thing (Peanut butter & Banana). Also; if you bring back the Mason jar from your previous visit, it's $5 off!

This was easily the best smoothie I've ever had. It was so good we went out of our way to stop by again 2 more times. The fresh fruit smell slaps you in the face as you enter and while you watch your smoothie or lemonade get made, you wonder how they ever have any fruit left as they pile it into the blender. They even gave us an extra glass of all the extra that didn't fit into our smoothie cup. Parking is tough around here but it's all worth it.

Delicious smoothies. Auntie makes them one by one but she does it pretty quickly! I got the pineapple papaya one. I just wish they had a smaller size option.

We were walking by this place on our way to the museum and needed a refreshment, so we stopped by Fancy Fresh. The inside of the shop feels very nostalgic to traditional Asian shops where it's filled to the brim with fruits and snacks. It's very no-frills. I thought the price was fair - $10 for a 32oz smoothie. By default, it comes in a mason glass jar, which is actually good value and I guess helps reduce waste? It is a $2 upcharge for the lid w/ straw upgrade. If you bring back your container, it's $3 off, so if you're in the area often, this is a great deal. Someone else in the reviews complained about them not cleaning the container for you, but I feel like that's an unfair expectation. We don't even live here and we walked around with the empty cup for a couple hours after finishing the smoothie and were still able to rinse it clean once we got back to our hotel room. It doesn't feel like this offer is supposed to be applicable to tourists, but rather locals. When you take your mug to Starbucks, would you expect them to clean it for you? The smoothie itself tasted very healthy, but still tasty. We don't like it when smoothies have a ton of sugar added and like when they have a lot of greens packed in. We also bought a container of mangos, which was also $10. It was on the pricier side, but I recognize it's the upcharge for it being already cut and ready to eat. The mango was super delicious and at peak ripeness. If we're ever back in Oahu and visiting the area, we'd definitely come back (and bring the jar if we have room)!

I found out about Fancy Fresh through social media and would also pass by it a lot when on S Beratania street. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy with a line outside the door! I ordered the strawberry guava smoothie with boba and my boyfriend got a mango pineapple smoothie with lychee jelly. The smoothie was ok, it was kinda watery and it separated really fast. The boba was good though being sweet with a soft chewy texture. Not too sure if I'll be back because I think there's other places that do better fruit smoothies but I'm glad I got to try it out!

The juice is tasty and fresh. I like how they blend the citrus flavors with the savory fruit. They even have cute caps to put on the jars. I lost that photo though so I couldn't upload it. But I got a blue cap and a pink cap. Refills if you get the jars are only seven bucks highly recommend because we've already been there like three times. They sell fresh fruit and fresh cut fruit but it is kind of expensive, especially considering it's right down the street from a Safeway and a Times. But I guess it's more marked up for convenience. They also sell flash frozen packaged fruit pieces - very generous bags I if you like that sort of thing. Parking is really tight and it's really hard because it's on a main road. There is a shared parking lot right around the corner from the building, but there's only like four spaces. So we always get someone to jump out with the jars and drive around the block. It takes them for a while because it's made to order and they're usually pretty busy. There's never a moment where it's just me in the shop. There's always somebody else waiting. But if you really like fresh juice, this is the place to go. I haven't been disappointed yet. Everything tastes good. They have a menu posted up of popular menu suggestions.

When a hole in the wall establishment has a constant line to the door at 10:30am on a Thursday, you know it's banging. Fancy fresh food shop is known for their fresh produce, various snacks, and most importantly- their smoothies. They share the same building on beretania st as Dew Drop Inn, right before Chick-fil-A. There's a handful of stalls behind the shop and metered parking. The two aunties running the shop are very speedy taking orders and making the drinks. I only waited a total of about 15 minutes considering there were about 12 smoothies ordered ahead of me. I saw one lady order 6 power green smoothies and I knew I had to try it. It's a mix of kale, mango, papaya, ginger, lemon, honey. Aunty asked if I like strong ginger and I nodded my head eagerly. But whew she meant business when they add raw ginger in. It was the dominant flavor, nicely contrasting with the sweetness of the fruit, and adding a little singe on the back of my throat. Next time I'll say regular ginger because it was a tad too "spicy" if you know what I mean. I'd still get the smoothie again or try the lilikoi mango or lychee dragonfruit! The prices are a steal, $7 for 24oz, $10 for 32oz. If you get the reusable container, refills are $7. Everything is so fresh, as per their name. Definite must try.

Located just outside the Royal Hawaiian Center, the shop almost always has a long line, but it moves surprisingly quickly thanks to the convenient self-order kiosks. With its vibrant layers of color and fresh toppings, the shave ice created a breathtaking first impression. Better yet, it tasted every bit as incredible as it looked. **Hawaiian Rainbow: 5/5** The Hawaiian Rainbow was the perfect sweet treat on a blazing hot day. Layered with housemade coconut spirulina, strawberry, and mango syrups over incredibly soft shave ice, it offered a bright medley of tropical fruit flavors. The shave ice itself was exceptionally smooth and delicate, with a texture reminiscent of fluffy snow that dissolved almost instantly on the tongue. Hidden beneath it was a layer of rich, soft ice cream that provided the perfect creamy contrast to the refreshing flavors. The finishing touches were a generous drizzle of condensed milk and fresh strawberry chunks, whose subtle tang balanced the sweetness beautifully. Homemade mochi added a soft, pillowy chew, while the lychee popping boba contributed subtle floral notes evocative of rosewater. Every element complemented the next, making each spoonful just as enjoyable as the last. Island Vintage Shave Ice more than lives up to its well-earned reputation. From the stunning presentation to the handcrafted syrups, silky-smooth shave ice, and a texturally diverse assortment of toppings, every component came together to create a phenomenal dessert that's every bit as delicious as it is visually captivating. If you're visiting Waikiki, Island Vintage Shave Ice deserves a spot at the top of your must-try list.

My husband asked if we could order as well and that we drove here straight from the airport with a 20 minute detour and was immediately told, "No, this is the last order." He walked out, realized it wasn't even 10:30 yet, and went back in to ask why they were refusing to serve us when we arrived before closing. Instead of simply explaining or apologizing, the employee, Kalei, responded with an unbelievable attitude and said something along the lines of, "People don't realize we have SCHOOL in the morning, but it's okay, I'll take your order then if you want shave ice that bad." WOAH?!?! Seriously? If you close at 10:30, then either serve customers who arrive before 10:30 or change your posted closing time. There was absolutely no reason for the sarcasm or nasty attitude. My husband told her he didn't appreciate the attitude and proceeded to order a strawberry shave ice. She then turned off the TV/screen and told him, "No more ordering for you." At that point it honestly felt like she was going out of her way to be disrespectful just because he questioned why we were being turned away before closing. When he asked for her name, she very boldly told him it was Kalei, advised him of their Google listing, and basically invited us to leave a review and contact her boss, as if she was completely confident nobody would care about how she treats customers. We weren't asking anyone to stay open late. We didn't walk in after closing. We arrived BEFORE closing while another customer was actively being served. The entire interaction could have been handled with basic courtesy, but instead we got sarcasm, hostility, and an employee seemingly trying to embarrass a customer for simply asking to order during posted business hours. One of the rudest and most unnecessarily hostile customer service interactions we've had. Completely unacceptable.
