The water tasted absolutely terrible, and I'm assuming that's part of the reason the beer tasted bad too. Our bartender, Caitlin, looked like she had just rolled out of bed and then disappeared for about 15 minutes while we were sitting at the bar with no one serving us. We finally got up to leave, and of course, that's when she came back out. The whole experience was terrible. This place seriously needs to be on Bar Rescue or completely overhauled. read more

Granted this is a new location and they are still trying to get their feet on the ground but.... The hamburger was great. It's Lucky 13 burgers. They know how to make a great burger. substituted sweet potato tots. Tots were over processed and lacked flavor. We ordered fried brussel sprouts as an appetizer. It can after our main course. They were under cooked and under seasoned, drizzled with fry sauce. I was hoping for a little more sauce with a zing flavor. Also had the brisket tacos. Served with three slivers of meat sprinkled with cojita cheese on a cold tortilla. Need more meat, a hot tortilla, melted cheese and tomatoes/lettuce/cabbage on top. Just not good. This is a great location and building. They are working to have an onsite brewery. Hope they can pull it all together. read more

We had pretty a pretty wild experience with our waiter. He forgot all our drinks and then brings us the wrong ones. We didn't have any food because we didn't have time to even order food after all the hassles. Im not sure I'd be up for going in there again really. -1 Star - Caitlin (spelling might be wrong) We made reservations because we had a larger party, and when we first sat down Kaitlyn seemed great. Unfortunately, the service quickly declined after we ordered food and drinks. I waited about 14 minutes for a beer. When Caitlin came back to the table, I politely reminded her that I was still waiting. Her response was, "I'm making my rounds," even though the bar didn't seem very busy. Another 10 minutes passed and I still didn't have my drink until a bouncer came over and asked what I was waiting for. What was most disappointing was hearing Caitlin say, "If she is going to be mean, I'll take longer to take her beer." That felt incredibly unprofessional, especially since I had only asked about the drink I had been waiting for. Things only got more uncomfortable when it came time to check out. She wouldn't hand me my check or make eye contact with me. I ended up having to check myself out, and when I finished the transaction she abruptly grabbed the device out of my hand. Multiple people in our party noticed the behavior as well, so it wasn't just my perception. Our group was looking forward to a good night, but the way Caitlin handled the situation really took away from the experience. I won't even do a food review because she was more salty than my brisket dip ‍ read more

NOT LGBTQ+FRIENDLY My Transgender son and I were playing pool when this guy, that goes by the name Shark, told my son he would SA me if he had a chance. This upset my son so we stopped playing pool and went back to sit at the bar. Apparently this upset "Shark" because he came over to the bar where we were sitting with "friends" and started calling my son "sweetheart." When my son asked him to stop, Shark became very loud and belligerent toward him. He started calling my son names and spewing alot of hate speech towards Transgender people. This became a very bad situation in which NO ONE came to put a stop to Sharks behavior. NO ONE came to stop this!! Not the bartender! Not the manager! Not the DoorMan! Not any of our "friends"! No one who works at this bar came to help my son or stop Shark from verbally and physically threatening him. I was the only person that stood up for my son and went after Shark to stop the crap he was spewing. EVENTUALLY Shark was forced out by his friend and we were told to pay our tab and leave. We were regulars for 2 years and thought we had " friends" there but now my son no longer feels safe being in that environment or around those people so we wont be returning. BE AWARE! I had to give it one star so I could tell situation. Again NOT LBGTQ+ friendly! read more

Went here for brunch this morning! This was the worst breakfast food for bar food I ever had! The hash brown's were swimming In Oil and burnt! A stop by for food before a Maverick Center concert. Dani is not just great but superb. Dani took the time to help with the drinks menu on drinks if you didn't want one of the ingredients and what she suggested to replace it will. The same experience with the food, she was very helpful. BTW the burger was bomb, it was the one with mushrooms but can't remember the name of it. Sometimes you find a place with great food and great service and you just can't wait to go back. The interior is gorgeous, parking is a breeze, and the service is genuinely exceptional. We went on a Saturday night and, surprisingly, were the only ones there for most of our visit. Aside from one other guest who left early, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Instead of awkward, it made the night feel intimate and relaxed. We ended up chatting with both the bartender and the kitchen staff, who were warm, friendly, and great at what they do. The drinks were a standout. Creative, beautifully made, and delicious. The bartender even whipped up a few off‑menu cocktails for me, and the best of the night was their matcha martini, which he said he created himself. It was incredible. Even my partner, who normally avoids anything matcha, enjoyed it. We weren't planning to eat, but of course we "sport ate" anyway. The deviled eggs were great, and the small Pinsa was fantastic -- especially with the adorable little bowl of hot honey and its tiny honey dispenser (whatever that thing is called). We intended to take most of it home... and then proceeded to eat the entire thing. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Citizens is beautiful, welcoming, and serving food and drinks that deserve a much bigger crowd. It's absolutely a place we'll return to -- and next time, we're bringing friends so they can discover this overlooked gem too.

We ordered a lime Rickey and while it wasn't the best we've ever had, it wasn't the worst. We couldn't taste anything besides lime. The inside was typical sports bar vibes. TVs all over with sports.

A pleasant surprise for fans of Lucky 13! It turns out Rabbit's Foot Brewery is from the same owners, and they've brought over some of their beloved menu items, including their famous burgers. While not explicitly listed, their delicious rosemary fries are available upon request - a must-try! Based on the carried-over items, I'd give the food a solid 3 stars. However, my experience wasn't entirely perfect, and I encountered some "Las Vegas style" nickel and diming that left a sour taste. Since the payment system is entirely electronic, we weren't shown an itemized bill before payment. Had we seen it, we would have noticed a charge for fry sauce. While it wasn't much, it was neither disclosed nor offered, it just appeared with the fries. It's the principle of the matter that bothered me. Furthermore, the minimum tip option on the payment screen was 22%, and it only went up from there. It was surprisingly difficult to find an option to enter a custom tip, whether higher or lower, which felt a bit pushy. Overall, Rabbit's Foot Brewery has a lot of potential with its great beer and atmosphere. However, these small, undisclosed charges and aggressive tipping prompts detract from the experience. Went for brunch. Tried their Wild Boar Chorizo gravy on briskets. Delicious. Chicken fried steak with the gravy will happen next brunch. And we barely scratched the surface of the brunch cocktail list. Too many great sounding cocktails to remember. We've been for lunch once before (the Fish & Chips are killer,) but I asked to look over their regular menu also. We'll definitely be back to dig a little deeper into the regular menu. Also, it's a brewery, so they have a nice selection of their own beers plus a big selection of other beers. Bonus, especially for a brewery, they have a surprising selection of spirits. There's some real gems here you don't commonly see. Server was great. Like genuinely friendly, and funny. We didn't all get our food at the same time but we all were impressed with our orders. The ambiance is relaxed, and chill. The place is actually fairly big but I guess kind of sectioned so it's not just a big room. They haven't been opened long so there's not a ton of decor, but we noticed several new things since last time. Pretty cool stuff. Not just beer & booze swag. They have a patio that looked inviting except it was kind of windy so we stayed inside. Lots of TVs. We'll definitely be watching some football here in a few months. read more

I recently had a late lunch with my wife at Rabbit's Foot. We went there because we had friends who had been and enjoyed it. I ordered the fish with sweet potato tots. The haddock was cooked perfectly. It was the best piece I have had since I was in Belfast last summer. My wife ordered a pizza knowing she would not be able to finish the meal there. We had it for lunch the next day. The atmosphere and the food were enjoyable, and we will be going back. read more
