Mikey Edwards jamming out to some vinyl Depeche Mode

Pretty awesome little hangout spot. They jam out to records while making custom cocktails. Give them a direction you want to go and they create magic. They had a quest bartender that absolutely killed it, Mikey Edwards made some amazing drinks.

Me and my friends stumbled upon Seabird when in the area and looking for a post-dinner drink spot. It was a very small bar, but I loved the fact that it was so intimate. I ended up ordering a classic Mojito, and I thought it was pretty good. I thought the ratio of sweetness with mint and alcohol was perfect. The prices for cocktails was pretty fair as well. I would recommend Seabird for anyone looking for a quiet, quaint bar with a good drink selection.

I was in SLC for a conference when my friend and I came across Seabird while walking around an outdoor mall. It's a tiny, artful cocktail bar. After looking at the menu, we noticed the custom cocktail option. The mixologist asks about your preferred flavor profile and if you have a spirit of choice. I typically enjoy margaritas, and my friend likes vodka drinks with a bit of sweetness. I can't tell you exactly what was in our drinks, but I can say they were delicious and well-balanced. The mixologist was knowledgeable and patient as we described our likes and dislikes. If you're in the area, make sure to pop in.

Amazing service. Immaculate vibes. And the best drinks plus you have amazing view of the water pad and sunset outside!

This is such an intimate and cool bar. The decor is engaging but subtle, especially the vinyl speaker bar they have going on. They played excellent records the whole time. It is a small bar, so it feels intimate. The staff were super attentive and kind. The bartender Kacie took my "flavor profile" and made me an off-menu drink based on that, which was delicious. I was so impressed by her ability to do that, and grateful as nothing else on the menu really struck me at the time. My first drink was the Verde and it was delicious- herby, classy, and great for sipping. My partner loved the Made In Mexico, which he described as a "subtle margarita." I loved this bar and will go back. It has great views of the Gateway!

I'm so happy that this cute little bar is here. I love tiny bars, the nice tiny patio with a nice view overlooking gateway. They focus more on the good quality mixes. I love that the bar plays vinyl records, I am a huge fan of vinyl. I enjoy hanging out here, its a smaller more intimate spot. One of my favorite places to stop by for a nice drink.

We could not have been more impressed by our experience here. Samy was such a great bartender and took the time to explain what was going in each drink and was very knowledgeable in the craft. We would tell him what we liked and he would go from there with what drink we should have. It was also surprisingly reasonable for prices.

Went there last Saturday, my husband got the painkillers which is really amazing! I got the Verde which was really good too! I saw a lot of cocktails I want to try so I will be back!

Visited Seabird with some friends on a Thursday evening. Such a cool little (aka cozy) contemporary bar with FANTASTIC drinks and service. We ordered a charcuterie plate as well, so delicious and fun! Can't wait to go back!

At $29 with the steak, they're definitely on the pricier side, but the portion size helps justify the cost. The serving is massive--I could easily see two or even three people sharing it as a meal. By the time I finished, it honestly looked like I had barely made a dent in it. The steak was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and every bite was loaded with toppings. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I stopped by during an off-peak time, so it wasn't very busy, which made for a relaxed experience. One thing that really stood out was their Guinness. As someone who appreciates a proper pour, I have to give them credit--they know exactly what they're doing. Too many places rush it, but here you can tell they take pride in serving it the right way. Their drink selection is also extensive. Whether you're a beer fan or looking to try a unique cocktail, there's no shortage of great options. I'd definitely come back, especially with a group to help tackle those nachos!

The food was good, we had the potato empanada and the wagyu skewers. Both were tasty and prepared well. There was live music that was really good and we enjoyed the people they had booked. There is a cool speak easy down stairs and a dance floor upstairs (we didn't see that). Overall, the place is really cool. I will concur that our minimal encounter with staff was less that stellar. Not sure why there were all the security guys mean mugging ayerone. Recommend this place for a drink and some grub.

We ordered some chips, Brussels spouts and their newest menu item the carpaccio. All items came out quickly and hot and were delicious! They were ready for us when we arrived and sat us downstairs, which was really cool! The vibe and esthetic of the entire restaurant was pretty unique. The booth chairs were very soft, and a little uncomfortable compared to the table height as you sink into them. Our waitress was kind, but had a weird attitude. Someone ordered an Americano (from the menu) to which she said they didn't have espresso... she ended up bringing the Americano to him without any explanation. It was just a little odd. Someone ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were good, but I wouldn't order them again. A lot of people ordered the burger, which was overcooked for almost every person and definitely didn't seem like wagyu beef. The steak sandwich I got (pictured) was good, but it came with lettuce that had really long stems. I don't particularly enjoy eating stems, so that's as annoying. The rest of my food was delicious. ESPECIALLY the garlic aioli. I could drink that stuff! The cost did seem fair for the quality of food, but a few adjustments could be made to the cook and such. We enjoyed our time and I will definitely go back! Hopefully for some drinks next time!
