The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely care about the players walking through the door. That's not something you can fake, and it shows in how the community shows up. Whether you're brand new to TCGs or deep in the hobby, you feel like you belong there. They also do a phenomenal job supporting events and keeping the scene active. I heard her say some stupid stuff for a manager, just after the Covid scare, "where is everyone getting their money from", because a Mexican family was buying a lot decorations for a party!. On another occasion during the day & the lines were long", doesn't anyone work anymore!. Just yesterday I had a $45 order, all I had was a hundred on me, the cashier asked if I had something smaller, I did not, she called "V" over & she asked the same question, I said NO, sorry. She said I would end up with a bunch of $1's, I said no problem, she came back with like 50 $1's & some $5's - she told the cashier, the RULE is you have to use the $1's first. Well the cashier did not listen to her & gave me $5's. As I was walking out, I swear she went into a victory dance. (Not knowing I got $5's instead of $1's) I am contacting corporate - that was the final straw. Really "Rule", she sounded stupid, that's the RULE. Imagine a manger behaving that way.

The selection is excellent too, including a full range of Citadel paints.
