I went to purchase a few items from this store that I have gone to for 25+ years…read more.. As I approached the counter, I observed a guy in regular clothes scanning products for a customer. Once the customer was completed with the transaction, this guy did not say anything like "Thank you for coming to 7-11" to the customer, but I learned this guy was in process of training/scolding an exceptionally nice professional employee that I had check my items for purchase for last several months. As for transaction completed by the guy, he stated directly to the employee while I, as a customer, to pay attention to detail and ring every item up seemingly derogatorily. This guy stated this twice to the employee at this time and seemed belittling to the employee. As this guy walked away, I complimented the employee on always doing a great job with the services I have experienced, and she thanked me greatly for that. Now, as I am about to get completed with my purchase with other new customers present behind me now, this guy again tells employee in front of more customers to pay attention to details and scan everything derogatorily.... As to being a leader, giving constructive criticism, providing training to employee, and having respect for yourself and others, you do not ever belittle or talk down to no one in the presence of anyone else...... It was an extremely sad thing to witness.

The store was well-stocked with all your needs for a successful road trip, such as snacks and souvenirs. There's a Subway. There's also stuff for truck drivers like overnight parking, showers, and a truck repair shop. The highlight of this location is a cashier named Jenesis. Her personality and humor made this a highly enjoyable stop for me and brightened my day.
