He responded and I quote "I totally understand, and we wouldn't dare disrespect by playing games, but the customers who come in person usually get an answer the same day and find the whole process much easier. Don't go here. I had a terrible experience. It's so terrible. I can't even write in here. I feel like they're running scam. They get people in there telling them about a seven dollar down payment and then when they have more money to put down My advice to you is when you're giving credit. Don't tell everybody in the lobby and don't tell your customers in front of everybody that sitting in the lobby because we all heard what happened A lady had more money to put down there yesterday they change their mind they denied. Her credit because they told her bank all she had was seven dollars to put down and they didn't have any cars in that price range for seven dollar down payment. I heard them tell her that later in the lobby ! Yeah, I feel so sorry for this woman she was elderly they don't call you in when you credit score fails they tell customers in front of everybody in the lobby! I feel so sorry for this woman she was elderly and she was kept saying please this is embarrassing. Why are you telling me this in front of everybody , you need to call us in the office and tell us about our credit not tell us out in the lobby in front of everybody ! that's just unreal medical has HIPAA laws. Why don't they? The whole time the senior woman kept saying I have more down payment I can give you as much as three thousand down. "Oh, I thought you wanted to seven dollar down payment. First of all this is not "deals" for the people. Don't buy a used car here unless you're desperate for a ride. Seriously. The manager, the owners son was trying way to hard, was out of line and rude. When I told him I couldn't make the "deal", he tried making me feel bad and basically was trying to sell me a car by making me feel guilty about wanting a cheaper price per month. Couldn't meet my budget when I know they could have they were trying to get as much out of me as possible. It was seriously one of the worst places I went to shop for a car. I went in about five days ago to get a car I called beforehand and asked if they had any cars for 500 down and the lady said we have a lot for 500 down I then told her my monthly income and she said that was really good so I made an appointment went in and was met by Jason. He took my information and said that my income may be an issue which is not what I was told so he said I needed a cosigner and that credit was not an issue I just needed more income so my son said he would cosign. I called back and Jason informed me that he was finishing up the paperwork and would call me back. I waited and he never called me back so I called his cell phone and he said it was slow at work and he was finishing the papers and he would call me back. Two hours later I called back and talked to someone who said Jason wasn't even at work that day and they couldn't get my information from his computer but they were going to try and if not David was going to start a new application. But no Jason was still "working" on it. I finally went up there after I got tired of being lied to and they said were not going to help you unless you have a bigger down payment or a different co signer. Last year I got a car from Raceway motors in Lufkin, Texas and 8 months later it apparently ended up needing a new motor. Now I'm in my early twenties trying to finish college with no vehicle and about to have a repossessed car on my credit. I worked really hard to build my credit up just to have to deal with something like this. I would never recommend this place to anyone else. I tried to go back and talk to them about it and they couldn't even make time to work on it themselves and recommended me to some local mechanic that I never heard of. Never again. I recently bought my second vehicle from Raceway. It is the third car bought by members of my family. I love dealing with Angie, Lonnie, and all the gang. They are all family but they act like great friends. It was nice to do business with a company where everyone treated each other so respectfully. They got me a great deal on financing and even ordered a replacement manual for my vehicle. Angie was very concerned with the car being comfortable for me since I drive in to Lufkin from Corrigan.
