I'm headed home from the airport when my tire is basically falling off! I pull over and find the closest shop which happens to be Rachell Tires. He immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it while also taking the time to check every tire!!. He wouldn't even charge me even though he spent atleast 30 min on my tire and checking my jeep out. I got a flat tire on a brand new set of tires, (which is the worst but usually how it goes, right?) Luckily, there was only a puncture on the tire so I took it to Rachelle's in hopes that they would be able to repair it. I had arrived about 15 minutes before they opened and fully expected to wait until at least their opening time to be serviced, but to my surprise I was immediately greeted and serviced, which was incredibly nice. Not only did they repair the tire, but they also put it back on my car and only charged me $35 for the quick and efficient service. I will definitely be back for any future tire needs. We went to the car this morning and found a huge bolt in one of my tires , so we asked Siri for the closest tire shop , first she took us to a place that didn't exist then she redirected us to this spot , we pulled in and where greeted and quickly serviced. I would give negative stars if I could!! Complete waste of money and the cheapest made tires in the world!! April 12th we went in to replace a tire on our Hyundai Elantra. Was told the tire was $95 and $114 after tax. And we'd have to wait an hour for it to be delivered. We had a flat so didn't have much choice. But that single tire was much overpriced. It is Starfire brand which is renowned over the internet as cheaply made asian tires. Come April 16th, low and behold!! The new tire is flat!! That is exactly FOUR DAYS. And it takes NOTHING for the sides to blow out as well. We went to Wal-Mart and got a much higher quality tire for $45!! That's a $50 difference! There was way more tread and the rubber was better quality. I'm not sure where they got the price of $95 for that Starfire but it was completely overpriced. Come Monday it's taken back to the shop to get our money back. They say it's the drivers fault cause he ran over a nail and drove on it so the sides busted.... Now I have picture evidence... Supposedly a nail was driven over and somehow mirraculously wiggled itself out of the tire before we could even see it and all the while creating a perfectly groves circle around where it wedged??!! Right on the seam??!! You must be out of your mind. I've had screws in my tires and not once did they create circular grooves and indents when they were FORCEFULLY pulled out. And let's give them the benefit of the doubt and pretend it was a screw, what kinda cheaply made tire completely blows out when its not driven 5 miles on. Most tires survive long enough to be driven to a car shop to be patched. Whatever the case, that tire was not worth the $114 spent. Waste of time and much too much money. read more

In March 2014 I purchased a set of rims and tires from Rachel Tires @ 603 Memorial Dr, Atlanta, GA 30312. I had purchased tires from this establishment 6 months prior with no problem on the same rims that came with my car. However I wanted new rims and had been going back to the shop periodically to talk with the person that worked there. After months of choosing the rims and me getting the money ready I was ready. I went on a saturday and I told him I had a wedding to attend later and he said the car would be ready. Me and my BFF dropped the car off then went to get our nails done. After returning several hours later, I was informed that the place that he had planned to get my rims from did not have them so he had picked up some from his storage space and I could one of those. On the back of his truck he had several sets that I looked at. Disappointed I chose one (I SHOULD HAVE WAITED). After another hour or so and me texting my family to let them know I would miss the wedding I waited and waited. His shop was closed and I went home, driving on bumpy and unstable rims. I came back the following Monday, he said that the rims where new and needed to be driven a little bit. I asked him to drive because my steering wheel was so shaky it scared me. He said sure and when we came back ( I KID YOU NOT) he put rubber bands over the HUB CENTRIC RINGS ( this is used on aftermarket rims to make sure they fit your car). This did not work because I took the car back several times after that, still no solution. I finally took the car to KRAM TIRE and WHEELS. They informed me of several problems. The wheels HUB CENTRIC RINGS where too large for the car and was not helping the gap, they gave me the correct size for him to order. The other problem is the size of rims where too large for my car (my fault because I let him talk me into a size larger than I wanted). I took the car back and he supposedly ordered the correct size and put them on. Later after the car was still running terribly, I went back to him at which time he told me he had spent too much money trying to help me and that he wasn't going to do anything else. He also informed me that the rims where NON REFUNDABLE and that it was just my loss ($1,600.00 +). I spent almost a year trying to get the rims to work properly even going to Butler Tire, who informed me UNOFFICIALLY that the tires could have killed me. But ultimately they are just sat in my garage for some time and now they are sitting a friend of mines until he can find someone to purchase them (they have been with him 2 months) I could not even sell them on craigslist. Bottom line: I trusted this man to do his job, which to me is know more than I did about tires and rims than I do and to CARE how he treat his customers. read more

I hit a wretched pothole on Dekalb Avenue this morning on the way to work (thank you, City of Atlanta), and after getting a spare tire on, I did a google search for tire shops nearby. I happened upon Rachell's Tires & Wheels (at Boulevard and Memorial), and I am so glad I did. What a great shop! Eli was kind and professional, and he found a used tire for me--saving me lots of money--and completed the replacement less than 30 minutes and for a great price.
