After reading other reviews about their online service, I'm learning they have a trend of doing a terrible job and it seems like they do so because they have an unfair return and exchange policy in place. I paid $61 to buy these shoes online (because I can't afford nicer sneakers nor can I afford to get to the closest rack room shoes, 19 miles away). When they arrived i was disappointed to find some black on the soles already and most importantly... THE WRONG COLOR. First thing I looked to do is exchange for the pair of shoes that I DO want. Then I learned that I have to go all the way to that store to make the exchange, but my lack of transportation is why I had them delivered in the first place. So obviously I just want to return them now. Their return policy requires that I pay for insurance or for a tracking number... so I literally have to pay for their mistake. What is troubling is seeing all of the other reviews to their online service are also equally as bad. It is appearing like they deliver their undesirable sneakers to delivery customers knowing that we cannot afford to come up to the store or pay the insurance for their delivery (and then order a new pair of sneakers, like I still need to, from another accredited business). By sending bad deliveries to people who choose to trust them enough to order from them online and then hiding behind unfair refund and exchange policies, they are completely taking advantage of financially unstable people. That is a terrible thing to do and they should not be allowed to do business online with a bully reputation like this. Literally, this is my first time getting hustled and bullied by a business in my entire life. This is also the longest review I've ever written. I really hope this review reaches the right people before they make a mistake that will ONLY cost them money. read more

This store is not bad at all. They have a decent selection for infant/toddler shoes. If they dont have the size you're looking for, they will mail the shoes to your house within 7-10 business days. I did learn however, that they are closing the Shopper Food Warehouse within 2 weeks of this post and moving the movie theater as of October 2020 to make way for VTech. I must have been sleeping under a rock because I had no idea. So I'm not sure if this location will be here much longer. read more

This is about their online ordering. I just paid $27 to return 2 pair of Nike Revolutions that were a 50% off second pair with discounts etc. that made it 2 pairs for $90 bucks a great deal. I wear 10 1/2 WIDE. I was sent 101/2 WIDE according to the shoe box and label. My foot with thin socks were heel to toe touching the ends of the shoe. This was not a true size or Nike shoe! The Castle Rock, CO location has the worst customer service. The rudest employees ever. One of the managers and one named Mary. Extremely snotty to us when we tried to do a return. We bought shoes and returned 2 hours later on the same day to return them. We never even took them out of the box. When we returned, they said the shoes looked worn and said they couldn't give a full refund. We had the shoes 2 hours! And like I said, we never even took them out of the box!! My feet are very sensitive and need proper care. I often find if you go too low you are often getting ripped off more than if you go too high. Rack Room sells shoes in a comfortable middle (and it isn't so huge that it is overwhelming like DSW can be. You can actually get in and out of here pretty quickly.) I bought some Asics for some new running shoes and a pair of Steve Madden business casual shoes. Both were priced under fifty dollars. They are having a fifty percent off on your second pair of shoes sale. [They often have this or a similar deal here. After ordering 1 pair of shoes for my son I got an alert saying my PayPal account was charged 3 separate times by rack room shoes. 2 identical charges and one that was like 8 dollars more than the other two. In the mean time I've only received one pair of shoes. (So far) After contacting rack room shoes, I was essentially told it was my problem and now I am responsible for waiting for 2 shipments of shoes that I didn't order, going to a printer place to print off labels, driving 30 minutes to the nearest fedex to ship them. This place is hit or miss. I have been successful and unsuccessful, but at least it's near other retail stores should you not find what you need at that time. It's great that the store is always Buy One Get One 50% off, but sometimes you just really don't need a second pair of shoes. They have a mix of brands that I'd consider low to medium quality. This was not reflected in my cart. I live chatted with CS and was told to call them instead. I ordered boots on the 16th of Dec. They were the only Christmas gift my two boys and I got my mom. When I order it online it said arriving Before Christmas. Granted we arrived to the store ten minutes before they closed, however I did not expect to be forced out at exactly 9:00 pm on the dot. My wife and I came there to purchase a pair of boots and we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted but needed a little more than ten minutes to decide amongst all the boots we liked. As soon as 9:00 pm hit we were told that we are closed and pretty much decide on something or leave. In addition, one of the employees was waiting by the door implying that we need to leave. The policy of this store is to hold shoes for up to two days. I was aware of this because I had done it in the past on multiple occasions. I went back on Friday, told the lady behind the cash register that I had two pairs of shoes on hold and could she pull them out. She look and stated that they were no longer there. I questioned why and I was told that they only hold shoes for one day (not true). She began to argue with me. I told her forget it and I will buy shoes from another store.
