Came back today to buy a third bike after my friend told me about the gnarly sale they were having. The deal was even better than what we had just gotten a couple weeks ago. I knew exactly what I wanted and Dorothy was quick to help. We bought the RadExpand 5 Plus in blue/grey. They included for FREE the bike rack valued at $500 and a FREE accessory. Couldn't pass that up. They told us the bike would be done in a couple hours. We went to lunch and got the call it was done maybe 1.5 hours later. Great experience. Awesome service. Can't complain.

After math of battery fire from a rad runner

I use to love Rad power bikes i loved my rad runner till the issues began and customer service was no help and only wants to sell parts or there authorized vendor repair also no help. I have had a motor come apart due to factory not putting any locate on the screws. After fixing there mistake after reaching out to authorized repair was told not covered so fixed myself. Then motor is whine is worse. Broken spokes nope not covered. Then battery fire nope not covered even know was within the 2 year period all they do is tell you about the bankruptcy and such not take care of a customer. Honestly I'd look at other options. I was dealing recently with Larry and Kayla. Good luck if you need something so sad. I chose rad when upgrading from lectric which lectric had amazing customer service for rad because I was told about the quality and customer service they had from other friends definitely not the case after the bankruptcy.

    The perfect E-Bike

If you're in the market for an E-Bike look no further than Rad Power Bikes. After a ton of research I decided to stop in and explore my options. I was looking for an E-bike as a gift for my wife. They had an incredible selection to choose from and the entire staff was awesome and so helpful in assessing my needs and showing me the best options. They were professional, and polite, never pushy or trying to close a sale. After comparing a couple options they allowed me to test drive the one we determined was the best fit for my wife. I'm so incredibly grateful for their help and I left with the right bike and some really cool accessories. Everyone there was super cool and "rad"! This is the place to go!

We appreciate this store for the quality of Rad bikes and their accessories. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Expect to pay a couple hundred more than sticker price if you want to bring it home professionally built and want accessories like fenders, mirror, and wheel lock, etc... The back comes with a rack but you have option of adding a basket (front and/or back) and other attachments. We opted to not get baskets. The rack holds a backpack or violin with bungee straps. So our $1399 price tag was more like $1800+ with the build, mirror, fender and install, wheel lock, and second folding lock. It's a great bike (Rad Runner2). Daughter has been using daily for 2 months with no issues at all. Battery stays charged for like 2 weeks (or 1 + week if only using throttle no pedal 25 miles) before needing a recharge.

The crew at HB rad power bikes,is stellar! Helped me pick out a bike I can ride around with my son until he gets old enough to ride a E bike to keep up!!! I love the million ways you can customize these bikes to fit your needs so much value in the price!

Rad Mission-truly a game changer if you want to commute to work!

Was very interested in getting a commuter e bike and came here to do a test ride. We ride the Rad Mission and loved it! The throttle on the right allows you that extra energy to ride when coming from a complete stop. Handles and brakes well. It's the lightest of bikes and for about $800-900 depending on if you get other accessories. We were sold and purchased one online since none were in stock. Delivery was quick and installment easy. We also took it to a local bike shop for a brake adjustment just to make sure we installed it right! Took it for a practice run of my commute and it really is a game changer! Although I got exercise it didn't leave me sweating too much which is what I need for commuting purposes. Let's all start bike commuting!!! Thanks for making a quality and affordable and light e-bike!

I first rolled in over a year ago needing a derailleur adjustment and a crank. He guaranteed his work and adjusted it without charge when I messed it up a few weeks later... Over the year he has become not only my only singular bike mechanic but a genuine friend. He has helped me countless times; I cannot say enough good things about him and his skill sets. No up-sell, no attitude--just straight-up help. Hanging out in the shop or by talking with neighbors who have had the same experience; I've watched ( and heard via word of mouth) him do the same for half the neighborhood: local guys on cruisers, kids on e-bikes, I've even seen him give bikes away to those in need. Even those not in need but just dig bikes like myself lol He's patient, knows every bike like it's his own, and actually cares if you're out there pedaling instead of sitting on your couch. Actually every bike I've pointed out as being eye catching and visually stunning have been custom bikes built by Kevin the owner/operator. This place isn't just a shop--it's keeping Huntington Beach moving! Fresh air, sore legs, stupid grins--Kevin gets it. If you ride, go see him. You'll leave faster, happier, and confident that the best bike guy in town torqued your wheels down properly :)

I remember going in our 1st time when it was first opened with different owners. They were fantastic & made me feel comfortable. They were not intimidating and the service went great. We took our bikes there a 2nd time, I don't know who the owner was at the time, and everything was fine. This is our 3rd time taking our bikes for service there. This time our experience was not the same under the current ownership. No shade to the owner. He was very nice & pleasant. I'm glad to see a lot of good reviews but that was not my experience. We dropped off our mountain non-e bikes for general service as they weren't running great at the end of the week. He mentioned that they'd be looked at the following Tuesday with an estimate (week 1). He mentioned that it'd be possible to adjust recommended repairs to suit our budget. Great! No problem. Very considerate suggestion. But we didn't hear from him on Tuesday or any day that 1st week. We tried calling a couple times that week but no answer. We tried stopping by at 11 (posted opening time was 10) and there was a note on the door they open at noon. We stopped by another day & it seems there was a family emergency so he'd get to us the 2nd week. We got busy and another week rolled around and a 2nd Tuesday with no news on the repair estimate. We called a couple times the 2nd week & there was no answer. We stopped by around 4:30 and it was closed (posted closing time was 6). We called again that weekend & he said his tech would come in the next Tuesday, the 3rd week, to look at the bikes. At this point, the bikes are sitting in the shop for 2 full weeks going on a 3rd before anyone even looks at them for an estimate. This does not inspire confidence that the bikes would even be done that 3rd week. While maybe they would have finally been repaired in the 3rd week, we decided cut our losses & take our bikes elsewhere. I truly hope this business succeeds, but we're probably not going to go back.

From the moment I pulled in, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. I needed air in my tires, and instead of just pointing me toward a machine or giving quick directions, Cameron personally made sure everything was taken care of. It might seem like a small thing, but that level of attention and care really stood out to me. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and actually cares about the customers who come through. On top of being helpful, Cameron was just a super kind and respectful person. It's not every day you come across someone who treats you with that much patience and positivity. Customer service like that makes a lasting impression, and it's the kind of experience that keeps people coming back. Because of how well I was treated, I'll absolutely be returning in the future.
