I was set out to take the bike out for a ride. As i was riding I felt like it was a bit flat. I asked for the nearest bike shop and stumbled on this shop. Sorry I didn't get the names of the young lady who helped me. But I knew I needed a special thing/attachment for my bike to get air into the bike. She was so helpful and so nice. After the purchase two young gentleman helped put air into the tires and I was ready to ride again. I totally would recommend this place. Everyone was so pleasant in helping me. read more

Went into test ride a new bicycle. Was denied a test ride because I did not have my ID on me. However, I did have my hospital ID which cleary shows my picture, my name and that I work at Huntington Beach Hospital. I was still denied the test ride as that apparently was not adequate. My truck was parked in the parking lot where they do the test rides. I also offered to give them my debit card as well as collateral. Will take my business elsewhere. Sometimes, a policy can be bent a little to make a sale and reasonable accommodations apparently aren't that common here. read more

Bought a beach cruiser on Amazon and it turned out horribly so have been looking for a cruiser but everywhere I go most of the bikes are electric but they actually had regular bikes here and cute ones too but was only looking until I get my refund back anyways Jordan who was working was awesome, let me just look with no pressure but very nice and friendly and when he saw I liked one of the bikes was very helpful and knowledgeable. SAVE yourself the TIME, TROUBLE... AND THE MONEY...& DON'T GO HERE! PAYING EASYRIDER to FIX YOUR BIKE IS NOT GOING TO GET YOUR BIKE FIXED & it's NOT GOING TO GET YOU HOME. We were on a casual bike ride Sunday afternoon May 17. My husband got a flat tire. No big deal. There was Easyrider, a bike shop, just 1 block from where we were when we realized the flat. Perfect!! .... Or so we thought. Well, we walked his bike in, & Asked for a new tube. They had US WAIT OVER 30 MINUTES while they PRETENDED TO DO A TIRE REPAIR They charged $17. Which would make sense for the work if pulling the wheel off & doing the tube replacement, & also for the cost of the tube. We paid it, no problem! Then we Rode just the couple blocks from the shop to the pier. Locked the bikes up & walked down to the sand. When we came back, the tire WAS COMPLETELY FLAT. He waited there alone for an hour as I had to rode all the way home... ALONE...& tried to find someone with an SUV big enough to come pick up both him AND THE FAKELY REPAIRED BIKE. The next day I called EasyRider. I called & called. I thought they could tell me what to do... bring it in for them to check out... something...Anything. But the phone was always busy or just rang & rang. Next day I called right when they opened & then a few times throughout the day... same story. No answer. Memorial Day went by... still flat. Still no use of our bike that we had SUPPOSEDLY had REPAIRED at EASYRIDER. Still I call and call. Still no answer. No way to leave a voicemail, nothing. It's almost like..: they Know they're scammers, so they really don't want to take any calls about the imaginary work they charge for. Well today, I took the wheel off, took the tire off the wheel. Took the tube out... you know... all that "work" EASYRIDER has charged us to do so that I wouldn't have to. Wow! WHAT A SURPRISE NOT ONLY was it THE SAME TUBE I PUT ON A YEAR AGO.... THERE HAD BEEN NO REPAIR MADE TO IT!!!! No repair. No patch. Nothing. JUST A Nice HISSSSSSSSSSSS of LEAKING AIR any time I put air into it. Still I couldn't believe it. I marked the area because I intended to show the people at EasyRider where the hole was so that they can patch it. So I called... AGAIN. AGAIN. AGAIN. 3 times I called today... until i came to my senses. THEY DONT CARE. THEY DIDN'T REPAIR THE TUBE. THEY DIDN'T REPLACE THE TUBE. THEY JUST FILLED IT WITH AIR, CHARGED US, and then Sent us off on our Merry little way. I'm sure they do this all the time. Otherwise why would they not take a call? I FIXED IT MYSELF AFTER A WEEK AND A HALF OF CALLING. So believe me. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU ENJOY GETTING RIPPED OFF. So really... if you do have the misfortune of getting a flat tire... Save yourself all the trouble, and just start calling around to find a friend that can pick you up. First off, the frames and craftwork and overall designs of HBBC are off the chains (no pun) Always got compliments on my bike and so when my first one got stolen (always buy a sturdy lock!) of course I had to go back and buy another HBBC. I forgot my bicycle lock at home and didn't want to leave my vintage bikes on the sidewalk while we shopped. Since we're near the beach I knew I would find bicycle shops nearby. I stopped at this store and they had exactly what I was looking for a long U-lock that gave me enough space to lock both our bikes together. Went to HBBC to get my back wheel tightened and left buying handlebars, lights and a few other things. The service was so good I felt I definitely needed to write a review. Shane (turns out he just became assistant manager) helped me out. This young kid has great communication skills and work ethic! They definitely made the right decision to make him assistant manager. He was very helpful and quick. I tried to offer a tip to him for his work and he said "it's my job, just leave a nice yelp review". Tip top service! As a new biker, I'm learning the in's and out's, do's and dont's of playing with my bike. I learned the hard way, trying to fit my bike in my 2017 Honda Accord to not take off the back wheel if you have no idea how to put the chain back on. I had plans to drive to the beach on labor day and ride to meet my goal of riding for the Great Cycle Challenge raising money to fight against kids cancer. I pledged to ride 75 miles in the month of September. I called ahead and spoke to someone to see if they can help me put the chain back on when I made it out there, they said they could help. I got to the shop, and it was busy, but Jacob approached me and offered help. He was able to get the chain back on, and check on my brakes all while helping others as he was working. The process took no more than 10 minutes, I could tell he was a pro. I just want to express my appreciation for the assistance in such a last minute fashion. I was able to get on the road and meet my daily goal for the challenge. The store itself was beautiful, clean and friendly. I'll definitely be back as a go-to for any biking needs when I'm out in Huntington Beach! read more

This place is super cool!! When I picked up my bike I asked last minute if I could have my tires chgd from white/black to pink/pink and the Manager kindly did it for me!! Even though he was busy with other stuffed. The 2 hr drive here was totally worth it!! The employees were totally friendly and welcoming, made me wanna come back with friends. I give this place two thumbs up also and an A+ for customer service. I needed my crankshaft removed from a bike I was painting and I called in and talked to Eric the owner. Then he told me to bring it down to the shop. As I walked in I saw the mechanic very busy, but I went to the front desk and told them I was there and that Eric told me to come in. I was taken to the mechanic and he looked at my bike and immediately took it in and removed the crank shaft quickly. He was very nice and I wanted to give him recognition for the excellent service he provided. The whole staff at the shop was helpful. This is review is based on my visit on March 21, 2015. I've been here before to get air in my tires on my beach cruiser and the people here were very friendly and courteous, so I told them I'd be back in a few weeks for some whitewall tires. 1 month later I returned and asked them to install tires, handgrips on my bike and a horn and handgrips on my wife's bike. They had our bikes ready when promised and did a great job, their prices are good too on their accessories. I will be back here soon to get tires put on my wife's bike. I walked into this place on Monday, ready to buy a beach cruiser. None of the 3 employees ever said a word to me. I got theses looks like I didn't belong there. After getting the cold shoulder, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I'm shopping for a new beach cruiser and there are plenty of places that I can choose from. It's pretty amazing to me that a store would treat people like that especially during these times. read more
