We live in Southern California and our Aunt and Cousins live in Kentucky. My Aunt's birthday is coming up in February and we were looking for a great place who delivers. I was so lucky to get to speak with Rachel who was so sweet and professional. Rachel kindly recommended many of their specialties from cakes, cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, macarons and cheesecakes in a jar! Needless to say we are so happy with the great customer service we received and can't wait to have our birthday specialties delivered to the best Aunt in the world for her very special birthday. The owners are the friendliest and most helpful,…read moreand only laughed at me a little when I mispronounced pastie the first time (pass-tee, not the other way...). They're a food truck, so they're moving around all the time. The way I find out where they're going to be is by liking them on Facebook "Yoopers Pasties." They post frequent updates, so there's never any confusion. Their menu is a little limited, but to me that means they're absolute masters of their craft. The pastie selection ranges from "original" (ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions), "kicking" which is the original with a bit of spice, "lemon pepper" which swaps out the ground beef for lemon pepper chicken, and "veggie" which swaps the meat for mushrooms. As far as choosing which one, it's like those multiple choice questions that say "choose the most correct answer," and that is the kicking Cajun one. They're all delicious, but the kicking Cajun one is definitely my favorite. The crust is fantastic too, homemade and very tender. They also offer salads and desserts, but I haven't tried these yet. It's going to be hard to talk me out of opting for a pastie. And the staff is so wonderful. They make me smile and brighten my day every time I go see them. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Etown is so lucky to have them!
