Something I never thought to try: bread! While I don't remember what this sundae was called, or precisely what the toppings were, but I do remember the base was a piece of flame(?)-toasted brioche. Not only did it do a great job of absorbing any melting ice cream, it also complimented the flavors and textures. As for the gelato itself, while I typically do not go for vanilla, in combination with the sauce and other ingredients, it worked phenomenally well! I felt that the value proposition was fair considering I devoured this thing like no one's business, and wanted to ask for seconds. The vibe is what I would describe as hip and cute. While my adjectives may be far off, it was a comfortable space to spend some time with a friend. Final verdict: I don't make it down to E-Town very often at all, but you can be sure I will make it a point to return to the Dreamery when I am in KY next.

Choosing just one flavor is difficult, so music to my ears when told we could get two flavors in one cup. I went with coffee and blackberry lemon, both flavors were delicious. I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

A M A Z I N G!! I love this food truck SO MUCH! The owners are the friendliest and most helpful,…read moreand only laughed at me a little when I mispronounced pastie the first time (pass-tee, not the other way...). They're a food truck, so they're moving around all the time. The way I find out where they're going to be is by liking them on Facebook "Yoopers Pasties." They post frequent updates, so there's never any confusion. Their menu is a little limited, but to me that means they're absolute masters of their craft. The pastie selection ranges from "original" (ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions), "kicking" which is the original with a bit of spice, "lemon pepper" which swaps out the ground beef for lemon pepper chicken, and "veggie" which swaps the meat for mushrooms. As far as choosing which one, it's like those multiple choice questions that say "choose the most correct answer," and that is the kicking Cajun one. They're all delicious, but the kicking Cajun one is definitely my favorite. The crust is fantastic too, homemade and very tender. They also offer salads and desserts, but I haven't tried these yet. It's going to be hard to talk me out of opting for a pastie. And the staff is so wonderful. They make me smile and brighten my day every time I go see them. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Etown is so lucky to have them!

This is my second time visiting this business after coming into town to visit family/friends. The…read morefirst was for a wedding and the second for a funeral reception. The food was catered and not off a menu which you would think would be easier to manage and faster. In my recent experience they brought us a bottle of water shortly after sitting but no glasses to pour the water into. 20 mins later we finally received glasses for our water after going to the bar and asking, only to be told that she was filling them. 10 mins later a basket of dinner rolls was brought to us with no plates to put them on. After another 10 mins of wonder if our meal was on the way, we decided to just start eating the dinner rolls. 15 mins later they came around with a cart and asked if someone wanted beef. I took the beef but the three ladies at my table preferred chicken so I paused to eat but figured with the delays that they wouldn't be coming soon and decided to eat. It took the sponsor of our event to tell the staff that there were three people at this table who needed a plate. By that time, I had already finished my meal, the server had taken my plate, and nobody was hungry anymore. We decided to go elsewhere for a meal after paying our respects to the family. Totally unacceptable for a catered meal to be so mismanged and delayed. I would not recommend this business to anyone nor return for even a free meal. You deserve better!

One server came out three times and didn't say hi or sorry for the wait. He noticed and made eye contact with me and had that look of "oh I forgot about them" or "better see what they want" and walked out picked up check from a guest who had left, turned asked a family how their steak was and turned and walked back inside. I know when I'm not wanted and the whole reason I am on Yelp is because of service like this. Waiting over ten minutes and having wait staff walk by and not be waited on.
