After a torrential rain storm with high winds had hit L.I. in early September, I discovered that a humongous tree branch had fallen on my Acura RDX. There was significant damage to the roof and other parts of my car. I had always taken very good care of the car and was feeling a little "down" seeing it in this condition. After getting an insurance estimate, I brought the car to Ed's Auto Collision. What a great decision! John, the owner, realized that the estimate was not enough to cover the parts and labor that truly needed to be done. He contacted my insurance and secured a new estimate. He also gave me a contact referral for my rental car. I was impressed with his concern and thoughtfulness. When my car was repaired, I was even more impressed! This place is great....Very professional, no games, or "sketchiness"....cleanest autobody office anywhere... the work they did was fantastic...I looked at five body shops before this one for an estimate, nearly all of the others had "red flags" or some negative reviews...yet Ed's did not disappoint once I chose them and had the work done and picked up the car...in fact, I had Ed's repair a terrible paint job that I had done previously at another body shop in Brookhaven.....I will refer Ed's to others and hope I never need bodywork again, but if I do, I will only use Ed's...John spoke with me on the phone about some details that I wanted done on the car, and they followed them exactly, no screw ups....In addition, I was extremely pleased with how they detailed the car for me when it was all finished....it was immaculate when I picked it up, and the bodywork and paint were top notch perfect...5 stars, no doubt read more
