I think next time I go in I might book an even longer massage because I could tell the masseuse truly knew what she was doing and had been trained. I have had many massages, and this was one of the best. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I had a little of the sea salt left on me after the massage, and I couldn't find anything in the room to wipe it off with. The third time I booked, was a charm, we floated! This was my first float so I was excited to try it. I enjoyed the experience of floating, after a while, I was able to get into a meditative state. Yay, relaxation. The Flo (the business) could use a little tlc - some small attention to detail would go a long way. Some examples: we were instructed to put in ear plugs for the float, my room was out. We were instructed to shower before, my shower was out of body wash and so low on shampoo and conditioner, none came out when I pressed the button. We were provided one towel that was thin and looked like it had been used (super wrinkly). The floor was covered in salt stains and no mats were provided so the floor was slippery and wet and hard to really dry your feet before getting clothed. I know, I know, wrinkled towels don't really make or break a float but it did make me wonder how well the tanks are maintained for cleanliness if such little attention is given to smaller obvious concerns. I found myself worrying about the cleanliness of the tanks while I was floating and that interrupted my "flow". We all know that "ahhh" relaxing and comforting feeling of walking into a spotless, comfortable space and that's what is missing at the Flo and why I will float again but at a difference spa.

Since we booked the last time slot for a couples massage of the evening, we were not able to use the sauna or steam room afterward and our services felt extremely rushed by every single person we interacted with there. I noticed that the snacks and some additional amenities were put away about 90 minutes before they even closed. We only booked the last massage of the evening because that was just what was available and I don't recommend going at this time. They offer an option to visit the sauna/steam room the following morning for the first few hours of the day if you're the last appointment the night before, but they only tell you this when you get there. This was not helpful for me because I had something to do early the next day. I also took the time to fill out a form for my massage therapist and she never looked at it, she just told me to hand it to the cashier when I left. The masseuse did not ask me if I enjoyed the pressure of the massage nor asked for any feedback. It was more like a fancy rub down for around 45 minutes in a warm bed. The cost was too high for a rushed 45 minutes and marketed as a 60 minute luxurious experience. The woman who massaged my husband spoke to him more than my therapist did, and so he was happier with his massage. Both therapists seemed mentally checked out for the day as they started our massage late and were just going through the motions with their job/lacked going any extra mile whatsoever. We were getting married the next day lol. I guess that's what you get for including automatic gratuity on the couples massage. The room atmosphere was very nice for the couples massage, they included towels and sandals, but as a whole this was very disappointing and overpriced. Will not be going back!

I will 100% be back to see her again because the massage was so relaxing and exactly what I needed. I love her technique. Her studio is located inside of a multi-business space with several other similar services and was easy to find. The studio itself is so inviting and relaxing. She even had the welcome sign customized for each client which I thought was a really nice touch and something I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm fairly picky on who I go to for a massage or facial which is why I like to try new people on Groupon but she really won me over!
