This is a few blocks from the West 4th train station, so very convenient! Great baristas, great lighting and open til 7pm mostly. Pastries and coffee seem great and matcha is ceremonial by the brand Koi (not my fav). Prices are on the higher end (rolling my eyes at the price I pay for dopamine). This is a "screen free environment" but people were on their phones too so it wasn't just me who forgot her paperback at home smh. Decent amount of seating and has those tiny wooden circle tables with the bear-claw-like legs that every nyc cafe has lol. (FYI the cortado is like 4oz or something bc it was very small so do keep that in mind if you order those and are a cortado girly like me when I'm reading [accidentally] pretentious dark academia books)

Nice cozy no laptops or tech allowed coffee shop. But yes people were on their phones ! Loved the fresh espresso smell when you walked in and the croissants baking. It's not very big but they have seating all around and we managed to snag a spot. They have a basic coffee house menu with some pastries they bake in house. I had a cappuccino and so did my friend and a latte for my other friend. They have all the milks and the real cups if you drink in house! Prettiest designs the make in their coffees! And they fill it to the brim with no spillage . Simple and minimalistic set up but it works as it was packed. I would definitely come here if I was a local. The cappuccino was excellent . Great creamy, frothy and just enough strength. Loved vibrant!

Stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop while I was in the area! I was surprised at how calm and serene it was, especially with the plants and slow jazz in the background. The cortado was nicely dialed in. The matcha latte was surprisingly yummy with a strong matcha taste. Their matcha wasn't too bitter and milk ratio was appropriate. Staff were friendly. I could tell this place is popular amongst the local community since staff seemed to know several customers. They don't allow computers. I can see myself coming back to chat up with others or for a solo date!

Really enjoyed stopping by Radiant Cafe. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, and the latte art was a nice touch. The space feels cozy and calm, great spot to sit for a bit or catch up on emails. Staff were friendly and the service was quick even though it was a bit busy. Would definitely come back to try more drinks next time.

I got an iced vanilla latte here in a Sunday morning! Perfect start to my day. Love the interior design of this place, and the coffee was good

Excellent coffee and a nice community spirit here with lots of outdoor seating. Not a place for laptops, and not actually "Vibrant Coffee" - the new name is Radiant Cafe

Such a cute coffee shop in the west village with some great coffee, matcha and yummy sweets! Service was quick even though the line was out the door. Great place to sit and people watch!

Coffee is on the pricier side (I paid a little more than $7 for an almond milk latte) but it was pretty good, on the bitter side but decent quality beans. They offer almond, oat, and skim. Cute shop with limited seating.

Great iced oat latte. Great matcha latte. Staff gave me a water too! Excellent AC. Great spot.

I came here early on a Saturday morning. The interior is really cute. A circular counter takes the center of the room, with plenty of seating around the counter. Lighting is great from the large windows, and the staff is super friendly. Clearly already a local spot, with several older ladies ordering on a first name basis. They are a no laptop shop though! I got a cortado, and it was solid. The roast was a bit darker than I like, so the cortado had a bit of a bitter acidic aftertaste. Exactly the right ratio of milk to espresso, resulting in a really nice mouth feel. Overall, awesome spot. Could definitely waste an hour or two away in the morning (as I did). Highly recommend!

For the Absolute most delicious coffee, real fresh squeezed juices, scrumptious bites journey to this bright beautiful welcoming new Coffee Shop nestled across a billionaires mansion away from the hustle and bustle in the west village on the most delightful part of Waverly place. The lovely owners Stefan and Theodora have created a magical setting inside and out! They are so accommodating as they graciously serve you your coffee at your charming table, like a 5 star European experience! There's a constant stream of customers as they cater for take out. Hats off to this impressive young couple who are doing everything right and whose vision for growth is unique and exciting! Truly my favorite place in the west village!

I love it here! The location is perfect for the mornings when you just want to sit by the window and mentally prepare for your day. The coffee quality is consistent...perfect every time! The service is personable and always welcoming. Their vibe definitely sets the tone of a small town coffee shop which I love. Pastries are fresh everyday and always smell amazing. You can tell they are passionate about their environment and what they add to the neighborhood. It has quickly become my favorite place!

Wow East Village! You have yourself a gem with Rake Wine Bar! We were waiting for our dinner…read morereservations and decided to stop in here for a pre-dinner drink and bite. I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The hwe crudo was refreshing and delicious, and the salad was also a standout -- bright, crisp, and really well-balanced. But the best thing we had by far was the dak mandu, the crab/chicken dumplings. Those alone are worth coming back for. The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

The bar is very scenic so you will definitely feel like you are getting the full dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Delicious cold broth/juice soup in which it was served. $32 Bronzino with mussels in a broth was superb. Light, crispy, and delicate. Would eat this dish for dinner Any night of the day. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations. Another waiter (young and inexperienced) was very shy and his energy felt very stifling.
