Super cute cafe! Met up with a colleague to co-work here together. Lots of different seating options like a booth, chairs with little tables, couches, etc. I guess this place doubles as a bar. They have a happy hour deal on cocktails as well as a full service bar it looks like inside. There's one restroom which is also really cool but could use some upkeep. The cafe drink menu is very standard. I purchased a skinny tall can of Diet Coke with ice and checked out the pastries. I was hungry and was feeling savory and was a little disappointed to find only sweet options like croissants, and muffins. very expensive for coffee! I wanted to get a dirty chai with oat milk and it was coming out to almost $11, which is a bit high from what I've ordered in the past in the city. Quite an interesting vibe depending on the hour you're here. I'm sure in the afternoon, it's a very relaxing place to meet someone for a quick coffee or pick me up. The floral background gives you almost a Miami vibe or even a vacation vibe of sorts. Very intimate in some ways with all the seating. In the evening, it really does turn into a romantic place to grab a cocktail depending on the hour. It's almost nondescript to an extent. You have to know of this place. It's also called Bar 21 from the outside, so maybe that gives it away. Our situation was that we wanted to grab a quick pick-me-up cocktail before our dinner reservation. The cocktails are pretty good. I had a mezcal infused cocktail. Unfortunately, can't find the cocktail menu anywhere so I couldn't tell you what's in it. This is really too bad because I don't mind occasionally coming here to read and have a coffee or beer. But again, they always change their prices from what's on the menu. A drip coffee is supposed to be $4. Maybe ice would be a dollar extra. I ordered a regular drip iced coffee as did my boyfriend and they charged us almost $18. Completely insane. $9 an iced coffee?! That's more than double of what's on the menu. I feel like I've been robbed. I asked after why it's so much more expensive and he stammered that it's because of the size of the plastic cup. I ordered the Mocha and Spinach Pie. The Mocha was prettily prepared, and had a warm, chocolate-y taste, while being rich, creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The Spinach Pie came on a lovely blue plate, but with no utensils. The outer shell was crisp and flaky. The filling was a yummy mixture of spinach and feta. Most coffee shops in the city are packed on any given day, with the wfh crowds taking over these spaces in lieu of offices. I was shocked to find such a gorgeous cafe with good cafe and beautiful, cozy green booth seating was not overly crowded, but soon found out why-- their wifi is not good. Bad wifi is a death knell when it comes to reaching the heights of the best places to work, naturally. Still, I enjoyed a matcha latte, coffee, and chocolate croissant while here and just used my phone as a hotspot. So I actually really enjoyed this cafe. I just found it by doing a search on yelp for cafes with high rating. Yes, even during the weekdays...it may be packed, but they really do try to accommodate everyone. I noticed someone mentioned that they went to TikTok and they mentioned this was a good place to work from, but the day they showed up it was packed too. Thats the problem with TikTok...it's kind of ruining all the under the radar spots. Haha But here is what I can say about the place, it's very lovely. It has a very classy, yet green vibe to it. Absolutely LOVE this cafe. PLEASE get the ham & cheese croissant. It has the perfect texture of crispy/crunchy on the outside and warm/chewy/soft in the inside. Laptop friendly!! It does get a bit loud so I wouldn't recommend it if you have a lot of meetings, but generally most of the other customers are also here with their laptops thanks to their free wifi, two clean/spacious bathrooms, two separated seating areas, and lots of outlets. The owner is super friendly (he also brings his dog and lets the dog walk around freely to say hello to the customers). The workers are pretty young and they did forget my order (ordered twice) and sometimes were loud sitting next to me when it was their break time, but it was fun seeing the owner and the workers' friendly interactions. The space is beautiful and operates as a coffee shop-plant shop-wine bar hybrid. One side is brightly lit and gorgeously decorated with near ceiling high plants, while the other side is warm with beautiful wall art. There is plenty of seating, although by the afternoon the space is often still completely full (but there is also high turnover being such a busy cafe!). Service is great: the baristas are friendly and often go around making sure the cafe is kept clean. The coffee is also good with a limited selection of flavors and prepared fresh, so it doesn't have a burnt or acidic aftertaste. However, it is not the greatest or most memorable coffee either, especially given a steeper price point for the sizes. It is also extra for plant-based milk. I haven't tried the food or pastries yet, but one of my friends who tried a croissant really enjoyed it. My primary complaint, however, is that it's often super loud with blasting music. If you need a quiet environment for productivity, Cafe-Flor is unlikely to be that spot. On each of my visits, I've noticed there is a bit of a "wet dog" odor towards the back as well. Some notes: WiFi is free for customers, but sometimes very spotty. There are limited outlets, so be aware for long study sessions. There are two well-kept and clean restrooms. read more

There are a lot of tables, but it was completely full when I came at 4pm on a Saturday. I will say the music is a little loud to focus on your work or talk to a friend, which is my only complaint.
