I'm not Vietnamese, so most of the weddings I attend the MC is just a friend, but since my husband is Vietnamese, we needed a professional bilingual MC and I could see the importance of one, and Kenny is the best!! After I asked the "Subtle Viet Weddings" Facebook group for recs, I watched all the videos and I loved Kenny's basketball announcer energy!!! He knows how to control a large crowd (300+) in English and Vietnamese. I didn't have a planner, so he helped us with the timeline of the night. And when we were running behind on entrance photos, he helped me cut off the line. The entrance photos took a lot out of me, and I was drained, but once he started hyping up the crowd, he was hyping me up as well just with his voice through the curtain!! It especially helped having him there because we weren't at a Vietnamese reception hall, so he worked with our coordinator to move our table touches along. MC Vicky and DJ Candid did so well at my wedding. I got so many compliments! Vicky is very eloquent and the aunts and uncles loved her Vietnamese. Even my friends commented on how she is great at speaking and has such a great presence. DJ Can also kept up the vibes, the Dancefloor it was alive and buzzing with old and young people. We booked Radiate for our wedding as MC, DJ, photobooth, and ceremony sound. Actually, my sister first hired Radiate for her wedding, and they were so great that it only made sense to have Radiate at my wedding. Throughout the planning process, I worked closely with Kenny Nguyen (the MC). He sent us a few google forms to fill out beforehand, and about two weeks before the wedding, we had a phone meeting with Kenny to go over the timeline. Kenny is on point and organized - he knew exactly what to do and worked with our coordinator to get everything done, which made the day so much easier for us! My wife and I had an Asian (Vietnamese, specifically) wedding and went with Radiate to provide the DJ/MC/photobooth for our wedding receiption. In the weeks leading up to our wedding day, Kenny reached out to us to coordinate the details of the services provided (i.e., music choice, sequence/timing of events at the reception, names of family members, confirming photo booth details, etc). The Radiate Productions team is so incredibly amazing. My husband and I could not have found a better MC/DJ/Photobooth crew for our multi-cultural wedding, but the cherry on top was MC Kenny! All of our guests, regardless of their cultural backgrounds, absolutely LOVED him. I was worried at first about whether or not Kenny would be able to entertain both sides of the family, but my worries were put to rest the moment he started speaking -- he is so witty and funny! He was able to seamlessly engage everyone in his entertainment and games, both in Vietnamese and in English, without a hitch. At the end of the night I had so many guests come up to me to tell me how awesome and talented he is! The DJ also kept the night fun by playing both classic and trendy songs that everyone could dance to. In the craziness leading up to the big day, I had forgotten to share our curated Spotify playlist with the DJ but that did not pose an issue at all because the songs they played were perfect to keep everyone on their feet. It was a pleasure to celebrate with Radiate Productions at our wedding. They handled the Emcee, DJ, music, and photo booth. The Emcee Kenny did an amazing job hosting in both English and Vietnamese, making the games enjoyable for all. The DJ and the photo booth team was patient and fun, capturing great moments with props. MC Kenny! This man knows how to hype up a crowd. From the start of the wedding, he got everyone off their feet. My wife got an introduction that she will never forget! MC Kenny is bilingual and awesome with Vietnamese parents. He is respectful but funny at the same time. He has good awareness of when to be proper with Vietnamese traditions. The DJ was young and knows the music trend of our age group. The transitions were clean. This production company as a whole is amazing as well. I did not expect the giant mirror photo booth thing. The only time I've seen one before is one of those small boxes with a camera in the middle. This was a giant mirror that has a camera built in! Definitely impressed a lot of our guests. read more

I will start off with this: Photo booth - 5 stars Dj & Music - 5 Stars Hire radiate productions for the 2 services above. This review is specifically for the MC services. 1. Since we've never been married we didn't know what to expect. We would've appreciated more guidance on the process of setting up the schedule, and what the game plan would be for the reception. We hired them months in advance for our wedding, so we thought that we had plenty of time to prepare. Instead the feel of what we got was that there was little preparation, and they didn't really care to get to know us. 2. There was a segment where they asked we have certain family members introduced. Even after a few revisions some which were even the night of he got it wrong for my family. In Vietnamese culture it is important to get this right, and it is one of the reasons why we decided to hire Radiate productions because we needed an MC who knew how to speak Vietnamese, and our customs. My mom had to walk around to my relatives and apologize for me whereas this mistake could've been avoided had he been better prepared. 3. We also did not like how the trivia game was played. Rather than asking what questions would we like for the game they had a template that did not fit our style. There were also some answers that I think Kenny either didn't know or decided to change because when he did not agree with the answers he was saying was right or wrong. 4. As I mentioned we hired Radiate Productions so that we can have an MC who speaks Vietnamese. Kenny barely spoke any Vietnamese though during our reception. Maybe if he did Kayla's family would get more involved since instead of getting neglected. Overall our guests had fun, but if the bride and the groom aren't happy with the service we hired then what is the point? It's supposed to be our moment, and it could've been better had we had a different MC than Kenny. If you get an email from Radiate Productions from him ask to be assigned another MC. read more

I can't recommend booking Radiate Productions for your wedding enough! We booked Radiate for their officiant, MC and DJ services for our wedding on 6/1/24. They also have a cool mirror photobooth, which we wanted to book as well, but unfortunately it was already rented out on the day we needed. They're truly a one-stop shop for wedding entertainment needs. MC Kenny was great at communicating throughout the whole planning process, and he really listens and caters to your requests so that your day is personal to you. He gave us a lot of good suggestions, helped with our day of timeline, and recommended any vendors we were missing. You can tell he really cares about each couple that he works with. We were looking for a bilingual (Viet/English) MC and Kenny definitely delivered. Our guests loved him! Kudos to their DJ team for getting our guests on the dance floor and keeping them dancing all night. Radiate team truly helped make our wedding day/night amazing and fun. read more
