When I found Cal & Sharon and entered their storefront the first time, I knew I was in the right place to have my 1970's era Pioneer receiver recapped. Cal confirmed my belief when I showed him a part in my hand that I thought would be helpful and he simply looked at it and said, "that's not the right part but I can find it and it will be cheaper than you can get it." Repairing these is first a hunt for the parts that takes time but once Sharon called and told me they had all the parts, it was less than a month until I was picking it up. When I was picking it up I also learned they had a CD player for sale that I was interested in and they offered it at a great price so of course I bought it on the spot! I can't wait to reassemble my system with the repaired receiver and newly acquired 300 CD player plus the vintage turntable I acquired a year ago.

I could not get not one person to assist me with my purchase. Not one. It was like no one was trying to sell anything. When I arrived, one guy was talking to a customer, but then he disappeared. A lady walks by I ask if she could assist me. "No. I work here but I don't do sales. I'll call someone to come assist you." She did but no one showed up. I ask the guy who's by the door. I don't know what his function is but he's definitely rude. and full of self-importance. I asked if he could get someone to assist me, I wanted a tv. I had already picked out two online before I came and wanted to make the final selection in the store because I had questions. He said go over there under that sign and someone will help you or just grab a tv off the shelf. I didn't want to just grab a tv, I wanted assistance. I was in the store because I needed help, not because I worked there. Not to mention, I had already been under the sign for almost 1/2 hour. I had questions. I ended up going to my car and placing an order online. It took about 5 mins to get the tv, but I didn't get to ask questions or ensure that I would be happy with the selection. I got absolutely no customer service, and they all seemed like they didn't care about customers or what's going on in a store. You'd think if they see someone for looking around in the same area for 1/2 hour not purchasing, someone might say "May I help you." That never happened. I don't know what the problem is with the employees at this location and I will never, ever consider spending a dime at this particular Best Buy. This store couldn't care less about customers or whether or not they make a sale. As for the TV, I will most likely return it over the weekend. When I think back on my visit to this location. All I want is my money back. I can spend it some place where employees still practice customer service.

They said screen was defective so I returned and ordered a second from a different supplier. Brought it in and same result...so I took my now NON-FUNCTIONAL surface to another repair shop. They told me that the digitizer board had been damaged and that there was also damage to the digitizer and display cables as well. At no time did they call me to let me know the status (I always had to call them.) It will now cost me more than the unit is worth to buy on Ebay or second hand market to fix the damage this SHAM place did and return my surface to working order. I tried to call the owner number given to me by the store "manager" but no response or call back to my voicemail.

Two days later Brenda finally returned my call. After I explained the situation, she said she needed to speak with Tom and would get back to me. Two days passed with no follow‑up, despite more messages from me. When I eventually reached Brenda again, I tried to coordinate an appointment for my customer in Alexandria, VA. She told me Tom could only provide an eight‑hour arrival window, the service call alone was $340, and labor was $100 per hour plus parts. I asked whether Tom could narrow the window to two hours, as expecting a customer to wait home all day is unreasonable. She said their policy would not allow it. Brenda was polite, but the process was extremely frustrating--she repeatedly said she couldn't answer basic questions because Tom was "on the road," and apparently unreachable by cell phone. I then called Replay Pinball Arcade in Ashburn, VA and spoke with the owner, Chris. Within five minutes we had a firm appointment time, and his service call was a very reasonable $149. I would avoid Electronics Unlimited entirely.
