Make sure to resolve any questions or concerns BEFORE paying the bill. If your husband calls him to discuss the price afterward, make sure to be on the call to dispell some of the mis-truths. When I attempted to address some questions/concerns, he admitted that he should have talked to me before making the executive decision and presented a possible fix but then didn't call me back as he said he would. I can accept that some of the issues happened because I didn't ask enough questions. He initially agreed that he should have asked first but later went back and wasn't willing to accept his piece when he spoke with my husband. Just not a good experience at all!

I trusted this company after a pretty good installation of a hot water heater. I try to stay away from furnace repair as I don't want to risk messing with it. I assume everything's good. Fast forward to one of the coldest nights of the year. No heat. I get a furnace tech out to check out what's wrong... 1. The filter was old and had never been changed. 2. There's a dime drilled to the surface of the furnace with wires running off it. Not their fault, but a heads up something was wrong would have been nice. 3. There was a level of soot that could not have been accumulated from November-January. Months and months worth falling from the flue to the floor behind the unit. Again, if they couldn't handle it, THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME, AND I WOULD HAVE PAID SOMEONE TO CLEAN IT. The furnace repair tech said it looked like no cleaning had ever taken place. I also asked him about a "hammering" issue with my washing machine when the water shuts off. He suggested rubber hoses instead of metal. The water damage wasn't known until the furnace was pulled up as my house is on slab foundation. I paid the bill as I didn't want a ding on my credit report.
