Coffee is nothing special, and on one occasion I was definitely served a dead shot in my latte - bad sour taste. Pastries are sad - much better gluten-free options elsewhere. Also prepare to wait 15-20 minutes for your drink, even if it isn't very busy. I'd recommend many other coffee places before this one. read more

One of the best places for coffee here! I drive by around here to visit family, and I will definitely continue to come here in the future. The baristas are very friendly and really know their coffee. The pastries are good too! I recommend the brownie cookie :) I've ordered the cappuccino and pourovers a couple of times. Both very delicious! Who wouldda thought this place would exist in Thousand Oaks? It is a cute little coffee shop that servers what I could consider premium coffee drinks that you can get at Starbucks but would rather get at places like Ragamuffin. Located in a small plaza, it is near the corner. The place has a few tables inside and seems to be a pretty good place to get some studying done. Free wifi with the password written on the glass for your convenience! WIN! As for the drinks, you can get your usual drinks like drip and lattes, but you can also get some unique drinks such as lavender lattes and others. I opted for a plain ol' Cold Brew and my friend got a Pour Over. The total was $9 for both drinks, which felt reasonable prices. After a few minutes wait, the drinks were ready. The cold brew was a bit more bitter/strong than I was expecting but nonetheless refreshing and tasty. Overall, the service was efficient and friendly, the drinks were good, and the location is convenient and it beats just getting Starbucks. Worth a try! read more

I went to go get breakfast burritos this morning...and 40 minutes later left irritated. I placed an order after the lady was talking forever with a family before noticing me. I placed my order for breakfast burritos...20 minutes later ...I asked for the status of my order ..to be told they would be done in 5 minutes..only to discover 2 people with breakfast burritos that came after me...received their order. All told 40 minutes waisted..demanding a refund. This day and age ...customer service should be a higher priority to justify the higher prices. I will not go back here. read more

This is a cute coffee shop with both indoor and outdoor seating. Their coffee is delicious and they have many selections. They also have some great gluten-free pastries. Can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review but we LOVE Ragamuffin! Moved to the area almost a year ago & this has been our favorite local coffee spot since. Their lattes & iced lattes are consistently amazing and they also have a great unsweetened matcha which I'm so grateful for bc that isn't always easy to find. They have oat milk and a bunch of other milk alternatives. And now they have a new Chagachinno... (I may have butchered that) but basically it's a Chaga latte sweetened with monk fruit... (so sugar free!) which is now my favorite and can't wait to get it again soon. Literally had me in tears it's so good. The staff here are all so kind & sweet and always friendly. We love them! I came here for a quick pick me up so I got iced coffee which I get instead of hot coffee always. The coffee is cold brewed so it tastes amazing and strong just the way I like it. They even have espresso on top of ice cream in case that is what you go for. This place is nice and clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. This place has peculiarly amazing seasonal lattes. This season's Blueberry Basil latte was something I would not usually order but my previous experiences with this place commanded it. It was a little on the sweeter side, but the hint of basil with the blueberry flavor was unique and refreshing. The Lavender Honey latte has a subtle and balanced lavender taste and is one the best I have had. The Bourbon Caramel latte is pretty good too. They make all their flavors in-house. Ragamuffin is the gem of Newbury Park. My husband and I were so glad we found it when we moved here a couple years ago. My husband is gluten intolerant is this is one of the only local places that offers such a variety of gluten free items. My go-to items are the vanilla latte and banana chocolate chip muffin!! Everything else is amazing here too though! My only recommendation is to amp up the rewards system, you get one star per purchase regardless of amount bought, so if I buy one coffee versus 10 coffees the rewards are the same. read more

I got the green tea orange blossom and was served right away. The tea was fragrant and fruity. Check out this shop while in town visiting. They are closed on Sunday's and close at 6pm daily which caught me off guard compared to coffee shops in my area. The quality of the coffee and homemade syrups were great we got the lavender latte and a bourbon Carmel latte I believe. They have many milk options as well. They were out of the bread they use for avocado toast but let me order it and the sub the bagel which was very nice, I was starving. We also got almond muffins which were delicious and soft as well. Only downside is the hours and fact that they don't have a bathroom, you have to walk out and over to Trader Joe's to a shared one....that's not the most convenient if you're working from the shop. read more

They use a home-made vanilla sauce for their vanilla lattes made w real vanilla... not just the usual vanilla simple syrup. No wonder the latte is so freakin' good... Ive tried their baked goods every time i go in, which is about 7 times now. I used to be gluten free so considering its gf, its really good. But compared to regular bread since im not gf anymore, its not as good. Ive tried their chocolate chip which i didnt finish, their carrot cake which i didnt finish, their biscotti which tasted dry, their cinnamon bun which i finished. Their pecan pastry looks really good.. im allergic to pecans. And their zucchini muffin looks good too. I accidentally threw away a banana choco chip muffin without even touching it... doh!!! I love ragamuffin coffee roasters! It's one of my favorite coffee shops in Ventura County. They have both a Newbury Park and Oxnard location. I love the ambiance, the staff, and the great work stations. They have really great decaf coffee. I really love iced dirty chai's and iced decaf lattes. FYI! Whenever I go to get my coffee fix it is crowded so you may want to get there early if you want to get some work done. I am not the biggest fan of the parking lot: there is a nail salon, a CVS, a gym and a Trader Joe's. It's always packed and parking can be hard to find. read more

Adorable coffee shop in Newbury Park! Not very large but had a nice menu. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on that. But I had a tasty frittata (more looking like an omelet), muffin and matcha green tea. This is a nice place to relax for a bit & meet up with a friend. There's a small outdoor seating area as well!
