Located in the quiet area of Moorpark in a shopping center, this is def a coffee shop to get work done with no distractions and with plenty of parking. They carry Guatemalan coffee and two unique house made syrups including the Adelita and Santa Ana. The Adelita is cinnamon based while the Santa Ana is rosemary based. I got the Adelita and really enjoyed it but I do want to come back to try the Santa Ana since it sounds so unique and I like rosemary so rosemary in coffee? Sounds really interesting. We did get a little turned off when we saw gnat by one of the pastries. Probably won't get one of their pastries plus they didn't look that fresh anyways. read more

I got the Fresa Fiesta and it was pretty good! However, I did feel that it was expensive for the size of the drink. It is a very cute space, and if I lived closer or was a student I'd enjoy reading or studying here. Staff seemed friendly and chatty among regular customers and themselves. You can add banana milk, collagen, or chaga, and there are signature options like strawberry toast and empanadas. The Adelita Coffee, with cloves and warm spices, is my next must-try. The space is chic, and there are also retail items like their own brand of coffee to purchase, which looks so good. The staff is so knowledgeable--especially Mariah, who is incredibly well-versed in all the items, so kind, and just a burst of light and clearly a leader. Stumbled on Calioh Coffee while we were in the plaza after having lunch and so glad we stopped in. The staff was really friendly and both drinks were so good. I got the iced vanilla latte and my husband got the iced horchata latte, and we both really liked them. It's in a plaza with free parking which is always nice, and they also have an outside seating area. Baby/stroller friendly too, which I always appreciate. Update Jan 2026: I think this might be my favorite place in the area for a coffee and gluten free pastry. I just stopped in before work and ordered the horchata latte and the pear, cranberry, almond muffin and both are so good. The muffin is wheat free, so I would recommend asking for a more severe allergy. They make all their pastries in house each day. The environment is also super kind and welcoming. read more

One of my favorite coffee spots in Ventura County! Genuinely the BEST cold brew and the baristas always put the perfect "splash" of cream. The pastry case is always packed with a wide selection of treats. The blueberry lemon scone was divine! Baristas are always welcoming and acknowledge you when you come in, even if there's a line. This is definitely a specialty coffee shop. I feel like the quality and vibes are there and I just ordered the wrong thing (the Earlito). After I took my first sip I knew it tasted like something familiar then I realized it tasted like cereal milk. This is not your typical Starbucks. Their coffee is much better! Calio Coffee is known to source premium coffee from around the world and roast their beans to perfection. I've only learned about Calio Coffee because I was looking to purchase whole coffee beans and came across their roastery in Camarillo, and later learned their Cafe was in Moorpark. I ordered the Adelita Latte and Matt's Way Bagel. I loved the Adelita, a Mexican inspired coffee, that had the perfect balance of cinnamon, clove, and star anise. The bagel may have simple ingredients, but it was really tasty with the everything bagel!! I'd definitely come back to try the other signature drinks. Prices seem reasonable. The matcha latte was earthy and unsweetened (you can get it sweetened or unsweetened). The strawberries & cream cookie is a decent size and phenomenal. I liked it a lot. The people behind the counter were very welcoming. Super explanatory. The coffee was made quickly and there are milk alternatives and interesting flavors to choose from. I got a Santa Ana almond milk iced latte. I think it was infused with rosemary. The pastries are made in house a very tasty, I ordered a slice of the corn cake and grabbed a chocolate chunk cookie to go. Both were extremely moist and flavorful. It was Dear Hubby's birthday, AND I was invited to Calioh Coffee as an Yelp Elite Squad Elite Experience. I couldn't find a check in for that experience, plus DH and I did go as a couple and ordered more than my complimentary drink, so I am creating this review here. What a lovely experience it was! We had not been here before, and it was a relaxing treat to walk in and feel the warmth of the space and kind greetings from the Calioh team. Their shop is not too big / not too small. There are outdoor tables when the weather cooperates, which is often in SoCal. The day that we were there, it was a bit too chilly, so we stayed inside at a cozy table. Their seasonal specialty flavors immediately caught my eye, and I really enjoyed my decaf latte with their "Santa Ana" twist of Sage, Rosemary, and Maple Bliss. Mmm! The barista's touch of swirled heart design in the foam made it extra special. A treat for the eyes and the tastebuds, too. I love that they said any drink can be made decaf, and with whatever style of milk you want, including almond or oat. DH had a different style of latte, and his was presented with a leaf design. When we mentioned that it was his birthday, they gifted him with a red velvet cupcake. Very kind! We also ordered an empanada each, and mine was really delicious - chicken with just the right blend of spices. Very enjoyable. We agreed that we will definitely be stopping by when we are in the area again and again. I will try to make that happen when we have time to sip and enjoy, not just be dashing on down the road. The experience of having the lattes prepared and presented in a large latte cup with the artistry topping is worth the extra time to relax and savor. Am also looking forward to trying their decaf specially roasted beans in our home coffee bar! A quiet gem in Moorpark with a relaxed vibe, Calioh Coffee is a great coffee shop to add on to any cafe rotation. I first tried Calioh a few weeks ago as part of a Yelp Elite event, so I decided to return today to try their holiday menu. I ordered an iced Yule Log - a toasted marshmallow mocha with marshmallow cold foam. The drink was so cute and had a nice winter-y aesthetic. Taste-wise, it was also pretty good. I enjoyed the cold foam and peppermint toppings, and it was surprisingly not as sweet as I expected. I stayed a bit longer to get some work done, and it was very easy to find a table with an outlet. Maybe I came during a less busy day, but I really appreciated that it was quiet (besides the Christmas music and ambient sounds of coffee brewing). So much good things to say about this place. It's in the middle of moorpark and a bit hidden little gem. I loved the ambiance it gives cozy, welcoming feel. Has a Spanish aesthetic. The staff though is top tier. They are so welcoming and get orders out very quickly. I ordered a Almond milk mocha latte and It gives almond joy flavor! Found this place on Yelp last weekend and I'm so glad I did. It was a great stop for our family before a visit to the Underwood Farms. We all got some to drink and a few pastries. The selection here is amazing. I loved my cold brew and my son's iced strawberry matcha was delicous. Probably the best one we ever had. My niece got a strawberry lemonade and again it tasted amazing. My husband got an americano. Everything tasted great. The selection of the baked good were very appealing. Second time's a charm-- and still charming! I think I've found my little spot in Moorpark. This time, I tried the new Adelita latte with oat milk. I think I still prefer the Mexican mocha because I do like me some chocolate but Adelita is still tasty and milky. I also tried the avocado toast and added a hard boiled egg for extra protein. Definitely filled me up, and flavorful. Maybe part of me wished the egg was poached or warm instead? Not sure. But nonetheless, still hearty and would eat for a larger meal. I came here for the first time on a Sunday morning and the place was packed! I ended up getting a few items to go: Food/Drink [5/5]: *Citrus Olive Oil Cake: I love olive oil cakes and this one was no different! Delish! *Not sure what it was called, but it was a honey type of cake. The cake was dense, but soft and moist and very filling! *Herb and Tomato Cheese danish: You can't go wrong with this danish! Full of flavor. *Lavender Latte: I love lavender lattes. The lavender was a little more subtle and not overpowering.
