This coffee shop is just down the street from us which makes it even better! The baristas are all so thoughtful and sweet! I love that Laidrey does a give back for those who want to buy someone a drink! Their coffee is all roasted in house and delicious! They also are always upgrading and updating the interior. My one complaint is that the only accessible spot is in the back and the back door is marked as not an entrance. This makes accessibility support challenging for those who need it.

The coffee is great the staff are wonderful.. It's not Starbucks it's not McDonald's so enjoy the delicious experience a real coffee shop Gratefully yours .

I have to say I'm impressed how much the service has improved over the last couple months. We no longer have to wait for 20 min to get our drink and food orders! The earlier you come the better because there are times they get really busy and there's a line. Lots of tables inside to sit at and some outside as well. Parking is in the back unless you find street parking in front. I love the seasonal drinks they offer, and the spinach egg wrap is my favorite for breakfast.

I'd say one of the best coffee spots in the valley (next to Jesse's Grind). My husband and I love having coffee dates here, the vibes are cozy and the interior design is nice. Service was friendly and baristas were helpful despite being busy. Two dedicated parking spots behind the shop, plenty of street parking or in the neighborhood. Seems dog friendly too which is always a plus. Will bring my dog next time.

Their coffee is really great. I had one of their summer specials. I think it was called cherry cloud latte. Their parfait was yummy with really fresh fruits. And this location is just really cute inside. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that it's really expensive. The parfait I got which wasn't more than a few bites was $10. Otherwise great place!

The baklava latte was amazing, I wish the rose petals were crushed on top of the drink instead of just placed on the plate but overall I would rate the coffee a 7/10. I believe it was seasonal but I hope it stayed on the menu year round ! The breakfast sandwich was decent. I would rate it a 7/10 as well. It's big enough to share and honestly was filling. I loved the vibe of the cafe, the service was good and a big plus was that it was dog friendly ! Kinda wish the sit down orders were sent to the table instead of pick up but not really a deal breaker Overall I enjoyed the coffee and food . Definitely recommend coming here for a weekend pick me up !

Laidrey is a super charming addition to the valley cafe scene and it's very much beloved by all the people I've watch come by and get their drinks. Street parking is the usual in this area. The people are very nice and patient while you figure out your drink. I like how you can watch them roast their coffee beans in house and they'll talk to you if you're curious about the process. My hojicha was pretty watered down but my friend's holiday espresso drink was really delicious. Come for the coffee for sure. Really love the lighting and seating. Quiet ambience and shares a space next door to a cute bookstore.

Laidrey has been on Ventura, and I made the mistake of going to the further one from me - oops! The back area has a small parking lot, but they don't have easily accessible parking here, so it's easier to go on the streets. It will take a small while of searching around the block, but there's parking! The staff are welcoming from the moment one enters, and their coffee was on the darker side - definitely packed just a strong enough kick! Not bitter at all, and really left you craving sip after sip. Working here was really easy and relaxing, as it's a fairly big location. They also have Wi-Fi, which is appreciated for those work / study sessions. And if you're interested, there's also a small community board.

Really like this coffee shop in the valley! Very spacious inside and nicely decorated. Lots of tables inside, it makes a great work space or meetup spot. I got the iced vanilla bean latte with almond milk and my boyfriend got the iced honey lavender latte with oat milk. I asked for my vanilla bean slightly less sweet and I recommend getting it the usual sweetness - when I tried it, it wasn't quite sweet enough, so they don't overdo it here. I still liked the lavender flavoring a bit more but enjoyed both. I really appreciated that their non-dairy milks aren't extra charge. Their lattes are pretty pricey so it kinda evens out, but still. They have a cute pay it forward section towards the back by the water where you can buy a coffee for someone, so if the note applies to you (i.e. if it says this coffee is for a struggling salon owner, etc.) then you can redeem it. Sweet idea.

Laidrey Coffee Roasters serves some of the smoothest espresso I've had in the Valley--silky, rich, and noticeably less acidic than most spots. They roast their beans in-house and the quality absolutely comes through in every sip. The café is surprisingly spacious with plenty of seating, and the staff has been consistently friendly. Prices feel fair for the quality. The only challenge is parking. I've only visited in the early mornings, and it can be tough to find a spot. It might ease up after 9am when the Ventura Blvd. meters open up. They're cashless, so come prepared. If you're serious about good coffee, this place is an easy recommendation.

I love a coffee shop who absolutely know their beans! I just spent the last hour talking to the manager Rachel and it's just so wonderful to come to a coffee shop and talk about the nuance of coffee. As an espresso and Americano lover who also regularly pull my own espresso shots at home, I understand there is so much that goes into crafting great espresso shots. The Papua New Guinea medium roast they use here was fantastic, with a bright, milk chocolate finish and excellent balance. It's not available to buy as whole beans, but I'll be sure to come back when do they have it in a week or so. In the mean time, I'm looking forward to pulling my own espresso shots with their bag of Nicaraguan, Honey Process Medium Roast whole beans.

I visited on a Friday morning around 11am. When I arrived, there was no line, but one started forming shortly after. The person who took my order was so sweet and friendly. I ordered an iced matcha latte and a burrito. They were both good! The space is roomy with plenty of seating. I stayed to enjoy my food and there were a lot of people on their laptops working. It's a great spot to get work done!

    Odelia S.

Seriously, I am obsessed with Laidrey's! The only reason I would give it 4 stars, though, is that they are a little pricey for what you get, especially the iced drinks. Otherwise, I love their food options, their seating is very cozy and always comfortable for reading, catching up with a friend, or getting some work done. If you're in a rush for food a drink, maybe go elsewhere though because as a leisurely cafe, they do like to take their time!

I tried Master Joe's Medium and Dark Roast, made with 100% Colombian Arabica, and it instantly stood out. Smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced, it was the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment. I met the Master Joe's team at an event, and they were just as impressive as their coffee -- genuine, passionate, and clearly focused on quality. Their steampunk-inspired setup created a full experience, and everything they served was crafted with care. The standout for me was the Espresso Martini. Rich, velvety, and unforgettable. I picked up a bag of their beans to enjoy at home and also bought their coffee pods for my Keurig at work. I've been enjoying both ever since. But boy oh boy this Van Nuys location nails the parking situation (insert sarcasm). We came by this morning (Saturday) and didn't realize it was inside an office building. It's at the bottom lobby area of this big office building and we didn't think it would be a big deal till we turned into the parking lot and realized it was a pay to enter kinda lot.. I said screw it since I originally turned into the BevMo parking lot next door by accident but I should've stayed there and just walked on over lol. I turned into this paid one since I just wanted to get my coffee and after pushing the ticket machine a few times, it didn't spit out a parking ticket and gate didn't open, I was like welp, back it on outta there lol! The ticket machine also said "check printer" which I thought was odd and maybe just broken? I didn't even think of it being "closed" due to the weekend. I backed out and drove next door to just park (Ace Hardware / Verizon). I walked over finally and this lovely young man named Justin greeted us with the loveliest of vibes. I began to rant a bit about the parking situation and he completely understood and explained how it would've been bad if we somehow got in because the parking guy isn't working weekends and you'd need a key to get out of the lot or something so that would've sucked LOL. Glad we managed to park next door and walked over. Justin had great vibes and really felt like a friend we already knew. Talked about current video games such as Expedition 33 and Deadlock and he made my Iced "Sam" latte all within a timely matter. I love the salted vanilla flavor that you don't typically see on menus in other coffee shops! Perfect balance and tastes fantastic. Great service and glad this coffee run ended well lol! Probably won't come back to this location due to the hassle of it all but I definitely recommend trying their coffee! IG: @ammysalamii
