Yikes. We stopped here after seeing a good review on Yelp. At lunch, the tables hadn't been cleaned, and it looked like no one had swept up since the day before. The lock didn't work on the one-toilet restroom. There were brown spots on the lettuce in my husband's salad. My patty melt was too salty, too well done and had little, if any,thing, melted on it. The tater tots and the iced tea were fine. The server didn't seemed to clean her hands between wiping off the table and handling food. We won't go back. read more

Visiting Lake Blackshear Resort for a work function so we were looking for dinner options as we arrived to town. Menu and pictures caught our attention, and there were zero regrets. Went with a "Christmas Ale" (not sure the Christmas part but it was a pleasant ale). For food, the chicken tenders got my attention as being listed made in-house, and as an entree selection it came with two sides (the other bonus). Went with the again, fresh made pork rinds, and kept the trend of unique choices going with sautéed cabbage. None of these choices being something I'd normally be found eating (beyond chicken, anyway). Everything was perfectly executed. Great meal. Hit the spot and somehow still didn't feel horribly heavy. Wish we lived nearby for this restaurant. The other two with me both did the Mac & Cheese burgers and were pleased, as well. read more

Quality of food was marginal. Service was decent, but not a good value. We would not return to this spot.

I wouldn't go here again if they paid me to eat! Actually, we didn't eat because we were never greeted by a waitress (had to approach bartender to ask if we should seat ourselves) and after sitting at a table for 15 minutes, we left. The blonde curly hair waitress walked by us several times without ever making eye contact. We felt so awkward and since we were not "locals" all the other patrons were just staring at us. It's a bar with some tables and it became obvious very quickly we were not welcome. Place was rather ramshackle but since we were already there, we decided to give it a try. NEVER again! The odd thing was they had placards on every table with a "let us know" message and a QR code. Also let the motel we were staying at to take them off the list. Horrible experience!! We ended up at 16 East and it was a delicious meal. Now that I'm reading other reviews about this place, I'm sorry we even wasted our time. Had to give 1 star. We were pretty happy with the food and drinks. We had the loaded tater tot's, buffalo chicken sandwich, with sautéed mushrooms on the side, and the Railhouse burger with pork skins on the side. We also enjoyed some adult beverages. The service was great. The restaurant was a little bit cold. And the Porch skins could've used a little bit more spice. The pork rinds were very thin, which I thought was very nice. However, they had no spice. We would have preferred some seasoning. read more

Driving from Nashville to Orlando, road weary and hungry, we arrived to unfortunately find them closed. But the owners were inside and they unlocked the door and said "Come on in! We'll feed y'all!" It was just the sweetest moment of true Southern hospitality! They turned on some music, fired up the grill, and we sat down and grabbed a couple of beers on tap and chatted with the friendly owner. We got our burgers and some really cool thin steak fries, and everything was delicious! It was one of those burgers where you consciously notice the good quality of the beef. The atmosphere was great, too. It's located in a neat old brick building with old hardwood floors and trains periodically rumbling by slowly outside. I'd definitely recommend it! read more

honestly a great place to come for a quick bite if your traveling. the burgers are really soft and don't make you feel sick like a normal burger would. fries are really salty and good aswell. amazing staff, always making sure you have what you need. gives a old style of ambiance, very nice atmosphere for family and friends. overall a great place to stop for lunch, if you find yourself in Cordele then i suggest u stop in. read more

What a surprise to find in Cordele!! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was excellent. The fries and homemade ranch are the best I've ever had. Our party started with the fried pickles - so yummy!! Amongst us we tried the Philly cheese steak, the Mac n cheese burger, patty melt, beer burger, wings - all super tasty. Then we discovered the room next door to hang out, drink, and play pool. Can't wait to go back again. If you go, ask for Sage as your server. She's a breath of fresh air. read more

Let's start with the ambiance. It's probably a cool little place to come for a game or to meet friends. We were there on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so it was quiet. The building is presumably an old rail house located right across the street from the railroad that runs through downtown Cordele. It appears to be original wooden flooring, and the interior walls are all old wood and exposed brick decorated with beer signs and local memorabilia. A long bar on one side wall separates the two main sections of the building. As I said, probably a cool place to hang and watch games, however it's not very cool as a restaurant. There was video signage declaring the "best burger in Georgia", so we tried one. Both of us ordered house burgers medium rare with tots. When we walked in, there was one person sitting at the bar, and a family sitting at a table, so they weren't busy. Several other folks came in while we were waiting, but still, NOT busy. It took our food a long time to get there considering we were the only people in the place. And when it arrived, it was far from the "best burger in Georgia". It was over cooked to about well done, the veggies were soft and wilted, and the burger and bun were both dry and just not very good. This is supposed to be their best burger, and frankly we were really disappointed in it. We thought of sending them back, but opted to eat what we could of them and leave. On a good note, the tots were cooked perfectly, but the portion size was a little small. The service over all was atrocious. When we first walked in two young women walked out of the back room zombie-like, and asked "Can we help you?" as if they were surprised they had customers. The one that was not 8 months pregnant eventually came over and took our orders, which as I said, came out wrong. They both lingered around the kitchen more than the dining room, and we had to wait to get our check and leave. I understand that it's a small town, and I understand that it was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but there just was no energy or excitement about the place at all. Certainly can't recommend the food nor the service. If you're into ambiance though, this place has tons of it. read more

We were traveling through and stopped in. We parked on the street and walked in. There was a wait (usually that's a good sign!) but we grabbed a couple spots at the bar. My husband and I both got great burgers and sweet potato fries. Our bartender was hilarious and we were provided excellent service. This place is amazing! From the atmosphere to the food. We had the fried pickles, mushrooms, and zucchini for an appetizer and everything was great.my husband and son had the Rail house burger, both are in silence the burger was so good. My daughter-in-law had the Mac and cheese burger and she could not stop talking about how good it was. I had the fried pickle burger, I was unable to fish it but my son finished it the next day and said it was excellent even cold. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. Stopped at a hotel in Ga. Didn't want fast food which there are plenty in this area. When we first pulled up we thought the place had closed. Don't let the outside fool you. The place was fairly busy but they did their best to keep up with service. Husband had the craft beer burger. The burger was cooked medium with a house made beer cheese and bacon. Oh Lordy was it messy but very good. I had the Philly cheesesteak tacos. They come with their house sauce which was a little spicy, not a lot, but they were good.
