    Breaded pork tenderloin

Don't have these in Kentucky so I traveled up to get one. Met my cousins there and it took her 3 hrs to get there we agree this is the best tenderloin we've had in a long time. They don't hide the taste of it with a lot of spices. The meat is thick and juicy. Will go back

What a cute quaint place! A little café of Time gone by. Completely decorated with railroad memorabilia, something to look at everywhere you turn. The waitresses were friendly and informative. They made our whole experience something to remember. Of course we had to have their world famous humongous tenderloin. We split one and added a bun, as you see in the picture. Which of course we cut again in half and had lots of leftovers for two more lunches. The batter was perfect, and the tenderloin itself was not too thin as they sometimes are when they're this big it was very moist and meaty! Perfection really! They seem to have lots of other things on the menu that we also love to try if we were in this area. They also had a very large selection of desserts. My husband loved their persimmon pudding, which most places never serve. Definitely a five star experience and we will always return when in the area!

This is the largest tenderloin. I've ever ordered.

We found this place looking for a new place to try on Yelp. Was a little bit of a drive but totally worth it. To say the portions are large is an understatement. This was the largest tenderloin I've ever seen. It was delicious. The service was excellent. They have daily specials, today was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans also a marinaded pork chop mashed potatoes with cajun gravy. They have house made desserts. We also tried Krack korn dip with tortilla chips. Think gourmet queso was sooooo good.

Waitress was incredibly friendly. We each ordered something different. My husband enjoyed the tenderloin. I had the fish sandwich and scarfed it down. We also shared the fried pickles, they didn't last long with our pickle loving family. If you are in the area stop here it's cute and railroad theme.

So if you're trying to eat healthy I'd pass. However if you don't mind indulging in crazy portions and fried deliciousness this is the place for you. The place was packed, but service was great. You can tel it's a locals spot. We ordered fried pickles for the table and they were great, they actually tasted like pickles. I got the fried chicken liver special with green beans and potatoes. I think it was around 11.00 and I only ate half, so left overs will be had. My son got the fish sandwich, my mom got the train wreck salad and the two guys got the tenderloin sandwich which was massive and thick. We heard dessert is great here but we were too full.

My family and I stopped in here while we were in the area to try something new. I got the club sandwich with chips. It was decent but the average of a three stars wife got a fish sandwich. She said it was decent. My mom got a cheeseburger same thing everybody gave their food to two or three stars. It was small place had down home country field, which I did like but overall three stars sounds about right.

Half a Hoosier tenderloin sandwich with full bun. Other half in the background.

Split a tenderloin sandwich in two and left with still a half a sandwich! But also had the amazing onion rings and outstanding fried pickles. Everything was fantastic and fresh!! Service was spectacularly nice and welcoming! We will definitely be making this stop again next time we are in the area. The place also has really fun and historical decor. Definitely worth a trip!

The pork tenderloin was massive! And not some skimpy piece of pork pounded to oblivion. It was a nice big cut of meat and fried perfectly. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Excellent local restaurant! Stopped in for lunch while exploring the nearby state park for the weekend. It was packed, and for good reason! You could tell most of the patrons were locals and regulars. Expansive menu with reasonable prices and something for everyone, as well as daily specials. Very enticing dessert area up front that everyone seemed to visit (yes, including us!) Great theming and decor throughout the restaurant as well! Bathroom was decorated nicely but hard to keep clean as there is only 1 and lots of people coming in and out. Service was great! It is clear the pork tenderloin sandwich is the thing to get here, so we had to get one... literally took up the whole plate! Easily could make like 3 sandwiches instead of one. We also got chicken tenders and slaw and most importantly STRAWBERRY CAKE! Everything was amazing and I'm getting very hungry just writing about it... definitely stop by if you're in the area! You won't regret it.

There were many patrons going in and out with bags of donuts when I arrived early morning. I needed a treat to take to an event and, of course, I found out last minute. The shop is pristine and simple. The cases were filled with amazing donuts, cookies and cakes. There was so much to chose from. Those cream pies were incredibly tempting. I opted for a tray of turtle brownies. The brownies were smothered in caramel and nuts. The chocolate brownies was the consistency of a rich fudge. Needless to say, the brownies disappeared fast, so fast that I didn't have a chance to get a photo. The service was quick and friendly and I was off in a flash. Prices are incredibly reasonable. I plan on trying those iconic cookies on my next visit. I highly, recommend.

I'll give them credit for being fresh-fried and having a good dough flavor. The apple fritter was particularly good, with nice big chunks of apple. However, I found some of the donuts (especially the glazed) to be too soft, and many donuts had so much sweetness in the dough that it was overwhelming when taken together with the glaze. They definitely deserve their reputation and their regular crowd, but I don't think I'd make a special trip from Bloomington.

There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Even with all the space they look pretty busy whenever I pass by, but that's only been on weekends, so it may be quieter during the week. On a weekend afternoon, though, you will not find quiet here. They have all the standard drinks you expect at a coffee shop and lots of fun specials, but the food selection is a little limited. I think they normally serve soup Mon-Sat but they were out when I got there. I got a bagel with schmear, a zebra (chocolate crinkle) cookie, and one of the February specials called "Opposites Attract" which was a raspberry chai latte. Everything I got was pretty good, especially the fresh, chewy zebra cookie. They warmed it up which made it just a little gooey. The raspberry chai was an interesting combination. i wasn't completely sold on the raspberry - I didn't dislike it but probably wouldn't get it again - but I think I liked the chai itself. The baristas and bookstore staff were all welcoming, and the vibe is very inclusive. I've come in and looked around the store a few times, and the staff seems approachable if you need anything but will leave you alone if you're just browsing.
