My heat went out, and of course its freezing outside. When the indoor temp hit 61, it was time to call for help. Jay answered the phone right away, and was at my house in less than 30 min. It took him maybe 10 minutes to diagnosis the problem and another 15 minutes to fix it. All for a very fair price. What I really appreciate, is that he didn't immediately start telling me that my older system needs to be replaced, or needs lots more expensive repairs. Best responsive contractor Jay from Rainbow HVAC in San Dimas, fixed a leak in my HVAC coil in less one day from my first call to him. Canyon Air of Glendora, leak tested the system earlier and proposed to replace the coil for $3900. Which I approved, reluctantly thinking that was high. But they never called back to schedule the work. Winter passed by, so I then contacted Clause and Sons in Upland, requested a quote and emailed a drop box link for several pics and stood by with for a quote or follow up. Hearing nothing in return for days,, I searched Yelp, and found Rainbow HVAC Two hours later Jay was onsite andinspected the system. Jay advised repair options, the first being since the coil was only 4 years old, it might be repairable instead of a replacement.The Lennox coil was installed new under warranty to Rudd complete system that Cypress Air of Glendora installed in 2011. Cypress, had subsequent returned 2 more times for additional repairs to their system8 which was contracted for my 77 year old father in law that lived in the house. However, Jay from Rainbow removed the leaking coil on his first visit, tested it that afternoon at his shop in San Dimas, found and repaired the leak 3 hours later and that evening sent me a video of the leak. Next day, Saturday morning, it was reinstalled, and he recharged the system.
