They were told that my niece could not receive a gel manicure because she was "too young." While we understand that businesses may have their own policies regarding age restrictions, nowhere in the salon or on their Yelp page does it state that there is a minimum age requirement for this service. Had that information been clearly communicated or posted beforehand, there would have been no issue. What was most disappointing, however, was the way the situation was handled. The gentleman who spoke with my sister was dismissive and made her feel as though she was asking for something unreasonable or even asking for the service for free simply because she questioned a policy she had never been made aware of. REMINDER: This isn't their first time going to this salon. Customer service is not just about the services you provide; it's also about how you communicate with your customers, especially when explaining a policy they may not know exists. A simple, polite explanation would have completely changed this interaction. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and the way the message was delivered turned what should have been a simple explanation into an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. For customers who have supported and regularly visited this business, that is extremely disappointing.

At the time I was only tending to my nails very sporadically. When I called to schedule an appointment I learned that she had opened her own place in Spring Valley. It's a farther drive for me but 100% worth it. Since finding Sing I will not go to any other studio regardless of price or convenience of location.
