It's my worse experience at this nail salon I want yesterday 10/30/2020 and had an appointment at 2 pm and helen was not ready for me I sad I understand that's okay and waited until 3:30 to get started with my pedicure and waited again until 5:30 to get started with my manicure and didn't finish until 7:15 pm and it was so ugly full set each nail look different than the other I couldn't believe it why she ruined my day off and my engagement party set when I told her that she say don't take close photos to your hand with the ring Seriously!! now I don't have time to go and at least take off the ugly set with lost of skin cut she goes your skin is sensitive!!!!! And I paid $80 I'm so sad now not recommended at all read more

My salon was closed. Went I arrived there was no one on the salon. I asked for a fill, Helen started my fill, then 2 women came in and she was in a hurry. She then pasted my off to another gal to change my toe nail polish. When I said , came over and started filing my nails. My nails were not cut down like I asked. Again, she was trying to do 3 people at the same time. Needless to , cut and filed my own nails when I got home. She did a sloppy job. She left product on my cuticles. The moral is... Don't cheat on your person! read more

Very kind customer service. Very clean. Sanitized my hands prior to being seated as well as a temp check. I recently had surgery on my ankle so I asked if they would please go gentle on my leg... very accommodating. Nice calm music playing while I was serviced. Strong massage chairs! They cut my toe and peeled the skin around it. My pedicure was painful instead of relaxing.

The person doing my pedicure literally RIPPED OFF the piece of skin on the side of my big toe nail even after I TOLD HER TWICE not too take off the skin or clip my toenails. (I am very prone to getting ingrown toenails). My big toe is in PAIN. She was digging into my nail, as well as pulling and ripping off my skin! I'm pretty sure you're NOT suppose to be in pain while getting a pedicure. You can see that it is starting to get red and inflamed. Some of these reviews must be fake because I don't think they were very sanitary at all. I am highly disappointed in this service and won't ever be returning. read more

The 1 star is simply only because they were nice. I asked for coffin, and a few look like egg shaped. I asked them to fix it and my nail ended up just being super lopsided. My cuticles are flooded. I asked him to fix it and he only fixed one, and then complained because he had to add another coat to fix the bumps he caused when fixing the flooded cuticle. Overall my nails looks horrendous. I asked at least 5 times for him to fix multiple issues (like my nails were SUPER thick at my cuticles). I was fed up with asking things to be fixed because he never fixed them anyway. I would not recommend this nail salon what so ever. read more

MAJOR LANGUAGE BARRIER * TREATED RUDELY * DON'T RECOMMEND - I had noticed that the prior establishment at the same location had a Groupon so I called to see if the new establishment would honor such. I was not able to get my question understood over phone due to language barrier so I drove down and asked an employee who informed me that yes, they would honor Mai's Groupon. Following, on two separate occasions, I then sent messages via Yelp asking for an appointment and neither time were my messages responded to by this establishment. I finally called to make my hair and nail appointment and was told that they do not do hair after having bought the Groupon and having a $90 credit. I was given a 2:30 appointment and was made to wait for 30 minutes. I then had my French tip nails done which took an hour and a half. . . though the work was done decently. At conclusion, I went to pay with my Groupon and was met with a very rude, new owner who told me she would not accept this as payment. She told me that her employee, who had told me prior that they would accept this Groupon, "does not speak English", and so it was my problem and she would not take responsibility for her employee's statements made. She further claimed that my nails had taken "(2) hours" to complete while not taking into account that (30) minutes of this was my having to inappropriately wait. Though I repeatedly emphasized that I was only there because of being told that their shop was willing to accept this Groupon prior to my purchase of it and I stood to lose $37.50, this owner did not show or voice any concern whatsoever for what it was going to financially cost me. The owner finally agreed to come down a few dollars only on the cost of my French tip nails yet no apology whatsoever was offered to me for her employee's error and my inconvenience. ** I do not understand how a Business can utilize staff members without a good grasp of the English language to make verbal assurances to their clients if they later are unwilling to honor what has been spoken by these retained individuals of theirs. Needless to say, I will never go back to their establishment again nor will I recommend it to others. ** UPDATE: Less than 48 hours later and after not doing anything involving the use of abrasive materials of any kind, all top coating of clear nail polish is completely gone! This is what an hour and a half French Tip Nail procedure got me. read more

They are not open at the time they say they are open. We went there at 9:30am and no one was there so I decided to call at 9:45 and someone had picked up. She said she was late and won't be there until 10:30 am. Don't put hours of operation on your business if you can't commit to those times. I wont be back. read more

By far the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life. First of all every time I've gone there I've always had to sit an extra 30 to 45 minutes after my appointment time until someone takes me to do my nails. Every time I go there they decide to up me in price over a freaking powder. Super unprofessional and careless. Helen always does my nails and she gets up in the middle of doing my nails to eat or talk on the phone or go help someone else. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Went to get my nails done after a year of not doing my nails and they did a wonderful job. I had been here once before and the service was good (hence the fact I came back) but the service I received today was truly deserving of a glowing review. Easily the best spa pedicure I have had in years. I also got a manicure which was done very well. I like my nails round and a lot of people can't seem to get that right but Sassy Nail did. Horrible customer service......Walked into this salon this morning...When I walked in I saw the employees all at work with other customers look up and me and look away...Not one employee greeted me or asked what kind of service I want...So, I walk over to the nail polish rack spend some time finding the right color...Still, no one acknowledged me....I sat down and wait for someone anyone to acknowledge me....A few minutes later another woman walked in and was greeted with a smile by the lady working closest to the door...The lady was seated into the salon chair... This is unacceptable for me....I got in my car and went down into El Cajon to Broadway Nails....I was greeted the instant I walked in...They asked me what kind of service I wanted...I still had to wait be nobody in this establishment was rude to me...I decided that I would call Sassy Nails and ask to talk to the manager, when I called someone put me on hold for well over a half of an hour...I drove my car back to Sassy Nails to speak to the manager...My phone call was still on hold.....UNBELIEVABLE......ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....I ask to speak to a manger but nobody knows who the manager is....Five employees and not one of them understood my English....REALLY ???
