Have not been here but I did bring my dog next door to doggie dos today and parked right in front of this location in a regular parking and the 2 ladies in there just stared at me as I parked. As if that parking space was theirs. I had my son with me and he stayed in the car and when I came back in the car he let me know one of the lady's was standing right in front of our car just staring at the car the whole time and she walked right by my car and tried to either take a picture of my license plate or write it down on her phone. I think they were just annoyed that I parked right in front of their place even though it wasn't assigned parking. Makes you think about how they probably treat their guests. Do better. read more

So I waited a week on purpose to review this nail salon. I had went to another nail salon not too far from this location and my expensive gel manicure barely lasted a week. I decided to give Evons Nails a try since it was so close, and it is super cute inside. Nice and clean has a tv and the owners are super nice. It's a relaxing,clean and professional atmosphere. My gel nails have lasted me over a week with no peeling or lifting of the gel. I also got a pedicure and it was great. Bothering me to complain about at all. The lady was super calm and gentle with my feet and when I left I was satisfied with how my toes looked and how soft my feet felt. So I'm still going to this great Salon, 5 years later. Tan & Tammy are both so nice and welcoming. The Salon is always clean which is big for me. They do all kinds of nails, gel, acrylic, etc. Tan is great at the hombre nails and now they have a lot of the metallic polishes as well as tons of other colors. I NEVER write reviews, but I figure I should save someone's time and money. I spent $60 on a pedicure and gel manicure that I have to now go fixed somewhere else. I tried to get them to do it, but it was cause my "nails were too short" .... that's why my gel polish was messed up and my nails weren't even. Conveniently my nails fault. A simple French pedicure wasn't even doable for them. And as soon as I told them I wanted my money back, they all of the sudden couldn't understand what I was saying. I left in 2012 to try another place on the recommendation of a friend, but ended up back at Evon's. Imagine for a moment the most terrible possible pedicure you can think up. What I just got at Evon's Nails was worse. It has been about five hours since I left and foot still hurts from where the nail technician, which is a euphemism, cut my toe while attempting to trim my cuticle. It wasn't a little nick that she took out, but a visible chunk that bled for the duration of the pedicure. And when she filed the nails she pushed so hard it hurt every time. The foot and leg "massage" made me cringe for the entire 10 minutes because the "technician" used her long pointy nails to scratch my legs and feet throughout. It was repulsive. To top off the disappointment the beautiful polish I selected is painted all globular in some spots and transparent in others. There are spots with no polish and then cuticle areas filled like a dam. As if it couldn't be worse, there is polish spread all over my toes. Every possible reason for getting a pedicure is a reason to not go to Evon's. Relaxing? Definitely not. Professional looking nails? No f*%@king way. My $23 would have been better spent on a homeless person buying beer. read more

Went for a pedicure. Made an appointment for 1115 but didn't get taken till 1140. Salon was clean and they had a great selection of polishes. Tammy did my pedicure and was amazing. I got a spa pedicure with upgraded callous remover and mask for $30. Made me feet super soft. I really enjoyed her and will be back soon for another! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Let me say that nothing about this experience was good or even okay. My mom and I made an appointment for 3 PM and it took them 30 min to even take me. My moms nail was smudged so she asked them to fix it and he used a completely different color. So now one of her nails is bright pink and the rest are pink purple. She pointed it out and his excuse was he didn't know the right color even though he literally had the nail polish bottle for 30 min and put it back. Shouldn't he remember where he put it literally two minutes ago? See attached pics. Not only that but he was too interested in his magazine to care about his clients. I literally had to call him twenty times loudly! Oh, and I had to kneel down on the ground to help my mom put her shoes on since neither of the workers could bother to do it. Worst experience! So I found Evon's Nail salon when I lived in La Mesa. I still occasionally make the drive to see Tammy for a great pedicure and even better leg/foot massage. It takes a little longer than other places (about an hour) but the focus is on you the whole time. They don't jump back and forth between clients like other places. Why only 4stars? It is a little more expensive and they don't take credit so I always have to run to the bank when I go. read more

This place wasn't very good at all. Charged way too much for salt scrub and callus removal 15$! Overall pedicure and manicure came out to 42$. When they advertise it for 26$. The paint on my toes and nails did not last a full week and chipped a lot. I scuffed my nails on accident when he was finishing the paint job and he didn't fix it. Ok well I gave this place a good 6 month try! At first I was totally impressed and then the fills got faster & faster. Don't get me wrong I loved being in and out of there less than 1 hour but I have NEVER had so many outbreaks of green fungus under my nails. They would take me in and fix them right away but ewhhhh that freaks me out and I told them they are not doing something right and water just keeps getting in and under my nails! Their response " maybe you wash your hands too much" REALLY? Well I haven't been back and no fungus anymore! Sorry I really hoped this would be the place! Not so much! The worst experience my mom and I have had with a nail salon. I walked in and showed Evon the picture of the nails i wanted and she said ok. Then halfway into finishing my nails, just after she was done putting my acrylic nails on, she tells me that she does not have the nail polish to do my nails like the picture. Then she tells me in a calm voice as if nothing has happened that I should go to the nail salon by Vons and have them finish my nails simce she does not have the nail polish. Finally, when it came to paying, she wanted to charge me 30 dollars instead of 20. She also gave my mom a "spa" pedicure on that same day even though my mom told her she wanted the "basic" pedicure. She ended up overcharging us even though it was her own mistake. At the end, instead of apologizing , she was being rude. I never wish this nail experience upon anybody. read more

I came by today because of all the good reviews and I live nearby. I paid $31 for a less than mediocre pedicure. Super light massage for a couple of minutes, water wasn't hot, $10 extra for "callus removal" and $1 extra to use a credit card. On top of all that the polish looks sloppy. I won't be back. I've had way better pedicures for less money. I'm giving two stars because the place was clean and parking was easy. read more

I was with my grand daughter who needed to go to the bathroom. Los Pinos doesn't have a bathroom. so I went to Evon's. I received the worst customer service at this location. A week out I made an appointment with Tam for an acrylic fill. He arrived to the salon over 30 minutes late looking dazed and confused. I asked him to change the shape of the nails, to which he responded that I should stay silent and he would tell me when I was allowed to speak. He proceeded to tell me that I ruined his morning and he was becoming stressed because of me. He refused to fix the nail like I asked so I left in the middle of the session.
