I was really hoping to have a 5 star experience. I sent a text to make an appointment with Ben. The morning of the appointment I received a text confirming my appointment. I responded with yes I would be there. I showed up a little before 9:30am as my appointment was at 9:30am. The gal must have had a rough start to her day as I felt her tone was rude. I was told to sit at a station and a woman sat down to work on my nails. I thought maybe she was just prepping my nails...? Nope she did the whole set and left them extremely uneven, I did ask her to fix them but her fix did nothing. I had to go home and fix them myself. My nails look so wide and the tip isn't glued seamlessly to my nail. I don't think I will be going back. I'm disappointed in their lack of scheduling and rude behavior. read more

Oh how I wish I could give Posh Nails a millions stars! I made an appt here on referral after commenting on how nice my friend's nails looked. My first-time experience yesterday was nothing but top-notch. A list of highlights: - A husband and wife team (Ben/Cindy) own and work here. They are the only two so quality control is in check. - Because it's a small team, it's appointment only which means the salon isn't chaotic with walk-ins and services aren't interrupted. - Ben was METICULOUS with trimming my cuticles. I've been to many salons in SF, the East Bay and now Petaluma. Only one other salon (in SF/North Beach) left me satisfied with the nail/cuticle "clean-up" part of the mani. - So many places skimp on the hand massage! Ben's hand and arm massage was quite pro with some trigger/acupressure techniques. - They use air filters throughout the salon = no chemical smell. - The salon has a relaxing, "posh" ambiance with calm music and a bright, modern decor. (The gold accents make me swoon). - They have a nice, non-overwhelming selection of gel polishes. - PRICING IS COMPETITIVE. I mention this last because to me, it ended up being the least important. This is the BEST nail salon I've ever been to. I used to live in SF and Posh Nails is my forever spot now. The owners are husband and wife and SO sweet. Their daughter works there too who is a total sweetheart and all are very good at nails. Cindy is incredibly talented at nail art. They did a perfect job for my wedding nails and my Mom's! The space is soooo beautiful and sparkly clean. They are Covid conscious and very welcoming and kind. The massage chairs are unreal, they're brand new and fancy and have settings for tall people like me, yay! The hot stone massage during the pedicure is lovely too! My experience at Posh Nails couldn't have been better. I was visiting from out of town for a wedding and was able to get a same day appt for a mani-pedi. I chose the deluxe package for both and was blown away by how attentive Hue, the women who did my nails, was. The deluxe packages include long luxurious massages for feet and hands, and it felt like I was at a resort spa rather than a nail salon. Hue helped me pick just the right polish to get the look I wanted for my event that night.
