I can't say enough good things about Raindrop Tap House and its incredible owner. Not only is this place home to some of the best beer I've had in a long time--thoughtfully curated, perfectly poured, and full of local character--but the service went above and beyond anything I expected. I accidentally left my wallet behind after a visit, and the owner personally tracked me down to return it. Everything was untouched, and their honesty and effort meant the world to me. In a time when that's far from guaranteed, their integrity and genuine care stood out. Add to that a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and a rotating selection of craft brews that never disappoint, and you've got a local gem worth supporting over and over again. Wow. Wow. Wow. I've driven by here easily 100 times and seen the huge Betty White cut out in the window. I always say "I've got to try this place!" And always forget. Well I finally did!!! My friend and I walked in and it immediately had the feel of a cozy neighborhood bar. I believe the owner was tending bar, and he welcomed us in. All of the other patrons had a drink and a smile!! I couldn't help but notice a post with very colorful decor. It was covered in brightly covered post it notes. It's so bright and bold there's no way you can't notice it. We walked up to the bar and my curiosity got the best of me. While my friend ordered a drink, like a normal person at a bar does, I asked "what is that? The bartender said "why don't you go check it out? It's our pay it forward program. You can specify someone to buy a drink for, or see if you qualify yourself for one." Well he wasn't kidding!! These were I'll buy a drink TO: and FROM: they were like "for someone on a first date, a teacher from X school, a new business owner, Alohq High school graduate..." And it goes on and on. I'm a SUCKER for a Pay it Forward. So I bought myself a drink and paid it forward. I have to say it does feel pretty cool and it feels GOOD to be a part of a community of GOOD. I have to say, totally JUST relating to hope and goodness and having evidence of it all... You'll find it here. We need GOOD but especially evidence of it right now. That's something I am sure we can ALL agree on. Now the beer I got was a BEAVERTON local blonde ale. Light and refreshing and crisp with a lovely flavor. I'm a light beer kind of girl. Montucky or Rainier. This beer was nice. I'd definitely have it again!! Now for a little history lesson. This cute spot opened for 7 months before it had a CAR crash into it's bar!!! The mayor and local businesses rallied to help them reopen. Now THIS is our Beaverton. Local artists donated items they made for Raindrop to sell to help them get back on their feet. What a wonderful neighborhood pub! We found it while waiting for a table at an nearby restaurant and came In for a drink. The beer selection is excellent featuring a lot of local breweries and even sake on tap! The person in charge was really knowledgeable of the drinks and gave me a few samples to try to fund a brew for my particular taste . The locals came arriving and everyone in the place knew each other and ir gave me this sense of a great place to build a community and meet people. Keep it up ! read more

I feel really emotional writing this review. We are a LGBTQ two dad family and we have been looking for our place in Beaverton. We usually always go to break side or sizzle pie but we decided to stop by here tonight and we were greeted with such welcome arms and such amazing people that we decided that this is our new home ! We loved the owner / bartender also everyone that was drinking at the bar was so welcoming and warm. We are really excited to spend lots more time here with everything that this place has to offer. I'll admit, when I saw Breakside and Loyal Legion preparing to move in just down the street, I started to get nervous for these folks. That fear was completely unfounded. First off, unlike the Portland offshoots, Raindrop has been here a while and knows what the area is about. It flies the ally flag proudly, puts women's sports on the television with volume up on some days, then shuts it off completely on others. It allows food from anywhere in the taproom (including from the DQ right across the street). Most importantly, the bartender isn't afraid to tell it like it is when it comes to the beer. Sure, you might think you want that brown ale on No. 4... but try the bock on No. 7. Yes, the dry cider on No. 12 is fine, but did you try the tropical on No. 14? Did you see something you liked in someone else's pint glass? Just ask and you'll get a taster. These little corner taprooms aren't supposed to be an event. They don't have to have 25 screens, 50 taps and an unending din during peak hours. They don't have to have their own underwhelming menu when there's amazing food right down the street. They just need to be a nice little place to try local beers, ciders and seltzers while gathering with a bunch of people you know. They really looked out for us during the pandemic with the vax policy, and were one of the few places outside of Portland that actively enforced it. I was grateful, and remained so when the bartender didn't give customers crap for wearing masks a day after the mandates ended. Good to know there are other people who look both ways before crossing the street. The Raindrop is a neighborhood spot in an area with appeal that's quickly outgrowing the neighborhood. Even if you aren't a local, and Boston's a tough place to be a Beaverton local, you can be richly rewarded here for simply understanding the vibe and going with it. It's why with two breweries and a giant taproom down the block, I'm still making Raindrop my go-to in this neighborhood. Here's to some stout and a Sizzle Pie slice. read more

Come twice, Mark will say "you've been here before". Come three times, he'll welcome you by name, and by the forth you're a regular... He's so great at making you feel welcome, you'll notice his picture on the wall boasts "employee of the month"! He may also be the only employee, but it's a well deserved title. ;) Raindrop has done well for itself in it's short life of 2 months establishing a regular crowd of super cool people from all walks of life that come to get away from the noise and crazy of daily life. It's a super chill vibe full of friendly patrons just wanting to take life a little slower with a good cold beer in hand. Here you'll exclusively find Oregon made beer and Ciders! 21 beers to be exact- anything from a hoppy or hazy IPA, to a delicious saison, a well balanced ESB, a boring ol' lager, or a hefty stout. In addition you'll find 5 local ciders to choose from, a root beer and a kombucha if you aren't a much of a drinker. Something for everyone! Another wonderful fact about Raindrop- Not only are they Gender Neutral and extremely LGBTQ welcoming, They are also celiac friendly:) There is one designated gluten-free beer line (#9) and the ciders are also GF! Bringing your own food is encouraged here as there isn't anything food-wise offered on an official menu, however Mark is gracious enough to keep a cute little self-serve spot of pretzels and peanuts stocked for your munchie pleasure. And any of your usual food delivery peeps are welcome to drop you off your favorite meal while you sit and enjoy a cold one. So come on in for a good beer, a friendly convo, a little Food Network viewing on the small TV, or something sporty on the large one. Bring your fur child and pull up a spot at one of the covered picnic tables outside, or play one of the many board games available inside. Popped into this place while we waited for a table at a nearby establishment & were immediately caught of guard by the guy behind the bar. He was a little aggressive in asking to see out Vax cards (not at all use to doing that in Oregon) but we didn't get them out quick enough I guess as it set the tone for our quick 1 drink stay. He was not friendly or engaging. I tried to discuss cider options & asked about a cider I had recently had elsewhere & was immediately told that this establishment only sells Oregon ciders - OK I didn't know that as it was my first time in & I can also appreciate that. He was so off putting & snickering with the regulars up at the bar all 4 of us felt uncomfortable. We had our drinks & opted to wait outside until our dinner table was ready instead of having another drink here. Such a bummer since this place is a nice casual neighborhood spot. read more

What a fantastic addition to our neighborhood! From the clean, modern decor to the awesome beer selection to the very knowledgeable and personable owner this place just hits all the right notes! They focus on smaller brewers and more obscure beers only from Oregon. This leads to a lot of pretty exciting options you have never heard of and because Mark really knows his stuff he picks some really delicious offerings. Raindrop also seems to attract a great mix of patrons that are friendly, talkative and enthusiastic about what's going on here. In a town with more than enough mega taphandle bars pumping the Pallet Jack and Boneyard RPM, it's great to have a local taphouse with such a focused and well curated list. I am new to the Beaverton area so when I was looking up for cool little hang outs around town, mostly locally own businesses and Raindrop Taphouse was recommended. So I went to check it out on a hot day and I have to say, what a cool little taphouse! Good selection of beer. Not too big but not too small. They have free wifi as well as some board and card games alike. It is just a nice place to hang out with friends or if you are alone. They also have outdoor seating. The owner Mark is super chill and gives you a samplers of beer before making a purchase, which I really like. I highly recommend Raindrop Taphouse if you like the more chilled environment to a bar and also want to drink local beer from the state of Oregon. 5 stars. read more

stumbled in - after running an errand in the neighborhood, I was on the road home, Highway 10, Farmington, soon to be Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. I looked to my right and saw this cute marquee for the Raindrop TapHouse - I swung in - just a random Friday Afternoon. There were two other patrons inside and the owner/barkeep greeted me. I figured I could stop in, support a new business, his was 6 months old. Nice selection of 28 taps, All Oregon products. I drank a nice Pale Ale from Vanguard. They had one TV in the corner, mostly big windows, industrial type feel. There are apartments above. The owner was Mark, nice, humble, friendly guy. A few more clientele dropped in - felt like a spot where regulars come in, especially if there are apartments above. Genuine service. Pints $6 - no food, but bring your own in if you like. I talked to a few of the patrons, super chill place. My next beer was a IPA from Claim 52 - very solid. read more
