Cheddar Bacon Scone
Ploy N.

Artisan coffee and craft beer, they got something for everyone here! We came for their coffee earlier in the day and it's nice and peaceful. The people couldn't be friendlier, seems like a spot where lots of locals frequent. We got the Seasonal Pumpkin Spiced Latte with homemade pumpkin syrup and pureé. It's nicely spiced while not being overly sweet. We also got their Campfire Latte which was came with a piece of torched homemade marshmellow and generous chocolate drizzle. Again, it wasn't overly sweet. Their Cheddar and Bacon Scone was a great savory pastry. Nice and butter and packed with cheese and bacon. Their prices are great as well. You can get a large 12oz coffee to enjoy without breaking the bank. Nothing to complain here. Totally will be back for both coffee and beers!

Nice, friendly, clean, casual place for a beer. The first time I came in (November 2023 I think) I had seen pictures of a latte with a giant toasted marshmallow on top and knew I had to try it. It was delicious. I've since heard they aren't doing coffee, but I'm not sure if this is a permanent or temporary change. Luckily, they still offer the delicious marshmallows that came with the latte. I mean, we all know that's really what we were ordering that coffee for I'm not from the area, but I do enjoy stopping in for a drink whenever I'm staying with family nearby. Being able to connect to their WiFi and get some work done while I'm here is a big plus as well!

Maybe the best latte I've ever had! Definitely try the campfire latte! Clean and cozy place with some really nice folks running it! I'll definitely be coming back.

We won trivia!

This has become our go-to place for beer and community. We have become trivia fans just due to the sense of community that Rich has built here. We came in a couple times before we started trivia and the various bartenders always were so kind and knowledgeable. Now that we know all of them, they have almost become our little Portland family where they notice if we miss a week, where we have celebrated birthdays, and shown so many of our friends. This is the type of place where everyone is always a friend. I have never felt so comfortable talking to strangers and asking them various questions about themselves. The beer is also fantastic! I always stick to their house pilsner which I love. My wife and sister have probably tried everything on tap. Highly recommend if you live close by and are looking for fun activities to do. That's how we fell in love with this place!

Fabulous beer selection!

But that is okay! I found a whole bunch of beers I wanted to try from breweries mostly in Oregon that I haven't been able to try yet and I found a whole bunch of cans and bottles here that met that want quite nicely. So I don't have anything to complain about at all with what our visit generated coming here. The staff here were accommodating and helpful with our transaction. We dropped a fair amount of money here but it was really because we found so many beers we wanted to try and we both snagged some t-shirts that we spotted and had to get before finishing out at the register. Definitely a good stop and a bottle shop I'd definitely come back to. It's about out of our normal way since this is in the Tigard(ish) area but this bottle shop definitely left a big impression on me for their selection!

OMP checked all the boxes and I gotta say they've stepped up their sports bar bona fides: I counted 14 screens spread across the entirety of the place, which is pretty huge now that they added a game room at the back. The covered patio's pretty sizeable too. Anyway it turned out to be a decent call, as I got a great view of the game, cheery service from the staff, and a nice, cool, uncrowded environment (middle of the day and sat inside). Unfortunately they haven't stepped up their food game, and my garden salad felt like it was straight out of a bag, mostly iceberg lettuce and a tomato or two for color. Meatball Sliders were ok, but I'll also cut the OMP a little slack; these were happy hour items AND, it is a pub. Order accordingly and you should be good. 4 stars for service and views, 3 stars for food.

This brewery is in a part of Portland we don't usually go to so there were lots of breweries that were new to us to try. Steve and I had lunch here. I saw that they had a pretty deluxe grilled cheese sandwich and that sounded great. With a few different kinds of cheese and tomato this sandwich proved to be more involved than I thought but it was good! Steve and I then shared an order of onion rings... man I haven't had those in a while and they were not disappointing at all. The beer... yes that was what our primary draw was to come here for. I got the the Row 14 which is a rice lager and this particular rice lager was Hopped. It was good! It had that nice graininess that you get with a rice lager in the flavor profile but with it being hopped it's a bit more bitter... a bit more of a bite. It wend good with the meal! We had another Old Market beer. This one was the Dark Ritual which was a dark lager. This was another good, solid beer also. Flavors to enjoy with this one are coffee, maltiness, roastiness, sweet with a smooth body. The restaurant location is cool. It's nice and spacious and comes across as kind of a college hangout (though I don't know if it really is). It also looks like you might even possibly get live music on certain nights. Old Market was a good, solid visit and is worthy of a return.

You can order via their QR Code and they will bring down your drinks and food. The only issue with a big group is when you start ordering multiple things via separate individual orders (2nd drink or more food) the bills got confusing when we went to pay. Most of us ordered pizzas which were good. The kale Caesar was a main stand-out, not just for flavor, but also size (it was huge). The drinks were good, but wish they had an option to order pitchers of beers instead of only individuals. I did appreciate that they had HH offered especially on a Saturday! The vibe is fun and we had a great time. Parents beware that you can spend a lot of money fast on these arcade games. A few games ate our money and it's play at your own risk. Overall rating would be 3.75.
