This place is always neat especially when you're have kiddos. The place really comes alive quite a bit while your in there. The food was pretty good and they really seem to go out of their way to make the customer happy. It was q great experience. Really felt like I was in a forest with the animals making all the sounds and the effects with the lights. It's great for a family night. Wish I would have gotten the server's name, but I went here on my Birthday, 13SEP19, and right from the start, service was awesome. The server was amazing!!! The atmosphere, pleasant. Food was great (coming from a picky eater). I would totally return in hopes of having the same type of experience. It was hilarious when they surprised me with a huge birthday song gathering. The food was OK, even the service was decent. However, we had an experience we would NEVER forget. To put it simply, the establishment did absolutely nothing about an occurrence that made MANY customers uncomfortable. Not to get into details, a father at a large table was touching his young child very inappropriately and sharing alcohol with her. The manager was made aware and said that there is nothing she could do about it, and could NOT ask them to leave. I'm not sure if it is because the party was not english speaking or because the bill would have been large. However, many tables complained and nothing was done about the situation by the manager of the establishment. I don't believe something such as this should go unnoticed. I believe more should have been done and could have been done. She let the family eat, drink and continue their behavior and then left without any consequences. Extremely disturbing. A steak sandwich was 19 US, fried chicken breast was 19 US. I picked the Chinese chicken salad which I was a bit hesitant on initially but man I found it fabulous at 14 US. The place is nuts with foot traffic and we had about a 30 minute wait which I had no problem with. Everyone enjoyed their meals but like I said a bit pricey. You pay for the atmosphere and the location. The menu has lots on it to choose from but at a high price. Took a while for the drinks to be brought over and then for the waitress to come back to take our order. They had a special for buffalo mozzarella stick we thought we would try them they came out cold the cheese wasn't even melted. The steak shrimp and ribs was a good deal if you wanted a little of everything. There isn't a ton of food for the price but there was some flavor. The steak was dry but the shrimp were good. They didn't refill the drinks and it was a very drawn out process to get the bill and then to wait for her to come back to run the card. We were staying in the falls for our sons birthday weekend and wanted to try an Italian place but they were closed? so we picked the exciting rain-forest cafe! we've been here before but without the kiddos so we thought they would enjoy it as much as we did. The kids menu had a good selection. one kid had a burger and fries and another had the pasta. I ordered the Rasta Pasta! The name makes it sound more exciting than it was. It was soooo salty I could hardly eat it. I managed to get down more than half of it with the help of a salty bread stick. We love going to this Rainforest Cafe! If you park at the Seneca Casino and walk down to the restaurant you will more than likely come in contact with many different things to do. The food here is awesome! I always get a Big Islanders Chicken Ceaser Salad which comes with a hearty portion of fresh grilled chicken. The prices are pretty high here, I recommend going onto Groupon at least 24 hours before and buying a voucher before you go! It's worth it! read more

The ABSOLUTE worst dining experience I have had in years. A 7 year old could not even eat his chicken fingers they were so inedible. I had the worst steak I've ever had, and it was over cooked on top of it. I informed the server, and the manger came out with an attitude telling me I shouldn't have eaten my steak if it was so bad. Visiting the area to get out of the house for the first time since covid 19. Seating went fairly quickly, even when we had to ask to be reseated because our son was terrified of the animatronic snake. We sat in the TGI Friday's patio which was fine. (Careful though- beggars will come right up to your table asking for money!) We were greeted by the server, a young gentleman. He took our drink orders and the kids orders immediately so that they could be satisfied quickly. The food was alright. I would probably not go if we didn't have the Groupon. The low stars are the service. Yikes. I am not sure if it was because of lack of needing servers due to the virus and not having enough staff, or because we were seated at an entirely different section of the area. The service is good and it wasn't too busy when we went. There aren't many healthy options and they were out of salads because of an e-coli outbreak. The thing that really made me sad though was the Reef shark in the small ish acquarium. Never seen anything so sad. SAVE THE SHARK!!! Give him a bigger home. Things to note: there's a tourist tax added on to pay for local things like fireworks, it's small but apparently optional. The food came out pretty fast, and was actually really good; I normally don't hold high hopes for chains, but this actually met my expectations as far as a quality meal. I got the Caribbean Coconut Shrimp, and I was very satisfied. It came with a great mango sauce, and a side (seasonal veggies). The animatronic wildlife was super neat too! We sat next to the tigers. There used to be a Rainforest Cafe in my town when I was a child. I remember walking by and wishing we could go in. Today I finally went and it was disappointing. The atmosphere was everything I remembered. The animatronic animals were a nice touch and the sounds of the rainforest were calming. I gave this review 3 stars because of the service, general staff confusion, and lack of customer service. The host stand had 4 different staff members directing who went where and left the guests with a sense of confusion. My wife ultimately asked, "who do we follow?" Our waitress was quick to point out that she in fact was NOT a waitress but the rest of the staff was busy. Again, she mentioned she wasn't a waitress and it showed. She had no knowledge of the menu and made ordering frustrating. The food was alright. The drinks were ok. The most exciting part was the souvenir cups we got to take home. The BEST customer service... from the host... all the way down to the Server... wasn't even a special occasion... just a favorite restaurant. We asked to be sat in front of the tigers if possible and OUR REQUEST WAS HONORED! Food came out perfect. Hot and tasty!!! Ribs falling OFF the bone. The BBQ sauce is to die for!! My son said, "Best day ever!" He LOVES tigers. The gift shop leaves some to be desired.. it is mainly clothing... no stuffed animals and I think that is largely due to covid. There IS an arcade attached to the restaurant that isn't owned by the restaurant... a word to the wise... the machines don't give refunds... witnessed a little girl putting $50 in a machine... and she told her momma about it... momma was pissed!!!! Well the location we went to was in Niagra Falls & the service was horrible. The actual concept of the restaurant is fun and exciting and the hostess was nice. BUT everything and everyone else was a little disappointing. They got our order wrong, and even though they took it back the service from then on wasn't any better. They have an arcade area as well and while trying to "cash in our tickets for prizes" the lady completely ignored my sister in law and went to the next person in line after her. So rude. The tables felt sticky like they weren't clean all the way and the food was over priced for what we got. I got hard rice , the french dip sandwich was bland, it was just not worth it in all our opinions. Maybe the only good thing about our visit was the drinks . After a horrible experience the night before at The Anchor Bar, we had low expectations for restaurants in the touristy area of Niagara Falls, N.Y. Luckily we were wrong about the Rainforest Cafe. They were fully staffed, very nice, and attentive to the patrons. Although the food was not phenomenal, it was certainly good enough to satisfy my wife, 10 year old son, and I. Our waitress, Alex, was super nice, took care of us in a timely manner and even got us our signature tall glasses that apparently we paid for at the bar while waiting for our table, but didn't realize it. I swear to you I'm not basing this off the fact that my kids were raging crazies on this day but we all got there expecting an awesome time. Through no fault of the chain restaurant, it was thee worst time I've ever had. Any person without kids would've seen my kids screaming and instantly decided to practice safe-sex & birth control going forward. Used a coupon ($80 of food for $40) With that said, we arrived and walked past the Friday's which was dead. We went to the hostess station and she said 45 minute wait...I looked and there were a dozen tables open (at least)...within plain view. The reason for the wait, she explained without prompt, was that a hockey team was taking up the restaurant. We got sat 20 min later and ordered. The food: BBQ bacon cheeseburger - why?! Why?! Why would you put this bland, probably previously frozen burger patty with cheddar, bacon and onion ring on a brioche roll. Add tomato and lettuce?! A nasty plethora of different, uneventful flavors on an over powering bun. Didn't even taste the BBQ. I think they might've given me a mix of the rainforest burger and the one I ordered. It was not good though, especially not at $16. Rotisserie Chicken, mashed potatoes - wife thought potatoes were ok but did not care for the sauce/flavor of the chicken...although it was cooked well. She did not feel it was worth $20 Chips and queso - was pretty good, junior enjoyed the chips too. Grilled cheese and fries - typical kid's meal (I ate some). Fries were nothing special. Deep fried frozen, I'm sure. For a place that demands a premium, the food is not worth the price but it's an expensive place to operate, I'm sure. The kids, however, were either not feeling it (we were shocked) or just were in really bad moods. They didn't care about the experience for more than 5 minutes. 3/5 read more

This is a cool place to eat if you want to pay the price. It was a half an hour wait for the two of us, with $6 in parking on the street for 2 hrs time. The inside is cool with animals and it changes from day to night.. honestly the food reminded me of Applebee's! It was filling enough for a big lunch and no dinner, we had some left overs of the Rasta pasta which was the better dish. And the half chicken was okay kind of plain tasting same with the fries. Seasoning is a thing guys! We also ordered the amazing appetizer which was okay. Spinach dip was good, same with the little chicken wraps! Went here for a nice family dinner. Overall good food, mostly frozen food with a few fresh made items. I had the fish and chips which was surprisingly good. Fish was a little greasy but crispy on the outside and hot, tender and well cooked on the inside. Fries were basic french fries with a touch of seasoning. We also ordered to massive brownie sundae volcano which came with three huge brownies, a lot of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. Took three of us to finish it. Don't try to eat this on a full stomach! It definately is for those with room for dessert. Expect every 15 minutes a show of the audio animatronic animals making noises and moving. Can be scary to some little ones and the room gets pretty dark during the 30 min shows. Great for large or small groups. Not the best place if you want a quiet meal.
