    Chicken and Waffles Breakfast
    Maria M.

10/10 recommend. My finance and I were looking for food after a day at Niagara Falls Park. We were so hungry and wanted home cooked meals. saw Betty's on Yelp and so glad we stopped by. Customer service was good, serves checked in on us and even gave us complementary French toast. We had the chicken and waffles, it hit the spot!

This is a family owned minority business. Granddaughter, mom and aunts and cousins all working together to keep the business running. This restaurant gives you a "home-like sensation", like waiting to eat at your grandmother's home. You receive French toast bites on the house as a starter. There are not many places that serve chicken wings with waffles...and I don't know why! Wings are better than boneless chicken. I did believe it needed more seasoning but otherwise a hearty meal. The cornbread waffles are also unique to this restaurant! The shrimp and grits was also good but a tad bit too oily (see photo). I love support small business! So glad I stumbled here on my way to Niagara.

We were visiting the area to take in the Packers vs Bills game and we always try to patronize local eateries. Let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy and homey and the food is on point. My wife had the Belgian waffle and I had the meat lover's omelette and it was actually better than I make at home. It was fluffy and stocked with delicious sausage, ham, and bacon. I also had a side of grits which were excellent. The service was outstanding and if you want to support local businesses and have a phenomenal meal. This is the place. You won't be disappointed.

    Greek Omelette

A true hidden gem! We decided to find Betty's after reading the reviews on Yelp. Wow! What a find. We were greeted like family and it only got better. The restaurant is small and homey. It allowed us to have great conversations about the Buffalo Bills game coming up, and getting to know the family that owns Betty's. Grandma and auntie were in the kitchen and the daughter and nephew were out front. The Greek Omelette was absolutely the best I have ever eaten. The vegetables were perfectly sautéed and it was served pipping hot. Do let the out of the way location stop you from experiencing a family restaurant at its best!

In my opinion, very nice restaurant. Very clean The room was full but the noise level is very low. You could actually have a conversation The City market is located across the street so you'll have ample parking when you come here staff outstanding very polite Right on the ball The food was fresh. Well prepared. Took my order. about 25 minutes to get my lunch indicates to me that the meal was cooked fresh. I'll definitely come back their menu has definitely items on it that I must try

Visiting Niagara Falls on NY side, and we found this family run gem! Amazing food and just the friendliest of staff.. the cook even came out to greet us! Would diffidently stop on our next family road trip!

    Broccoli & cheddar omelette

This is exactly what they say it is: Great great grandma's recipes made with love by Grandma and mom! Served by beautiful kids who guided us to the unique chicken & waffles! WOW - party for the taste buds! We got it for the table so we could all try it! Omelettes were light and fluffy. Grits delicious! Oh - and Pops came over and talked football with us! Such a genuine soul. All good feels... highly recommend!

Chicken wings and Red velvet waffle

Food was amazing! Definitely worth the wait. Hats off to grandma throwin down in the kitchen. I would fly all the way back from California again just to try the rest of the menu.

Found this spot on Yelp! It was close to Niagara Falls so a no brainer to stop and get lunch. Don't be dismayed by the parking. We actually parked in CVS parking lot without issue. Of course we didn't stay very long but long enough to get a delicious meal. A young nan was our waiter, he actually looked like a high schooler. He was very friendly and told us his favorite meal. He checked on us often but not enough to get on our nerves. We spoke with John I believe the husband of the owner. He too was very friendly and upon us leaving gave my hubby a comp bday gift The food was hot and delicious soul food and the he strawberry brownie was amazing. Thankful for a good meal, conversation and meeting friendly down to earth people. Try it out you will not be disappointed. Just remember the menu is not for the diet, gluten free person. It's fried and calorie filled delicious

Betty's was a quaint little spot with made from scratch, cooked to order food. The service was efficient and friendly. The complimentary beignets were a great surprise and delicious! Does not look like much from the outside but the food was excellent. Love the family atmosphere and story.

This place is your traditional old skool (school) mom & pop. Family-owned, young great-grandson is waiter (bless his heart), mom is in the kitchen, etc. etc. Food taste like my grandma put her "foot in it!" Prices are diner prices very cheap. But gave only 4 stars b/c it was sooooo slowww . Plus they forgot a few of our items. I would go again but don't go starving or in a rush b/c you are gonna wait.

    A Santa animatronic

It's a great small little joint to stop by especially if you're touring around the Niagara Falls! I ordered a teriyaki rice bowl with beef and it was freshly cooked when I ordered it, she was super sweet in letting us try her families beignets as an appetizer and they're absolutely tasty! Service was very fast, staff was also in amazing spirits and was super nice and friendly towards us while serving us. Our waitress Hailey was super kind and absolutely an ethereal jewel to my family's lunch this afternoon. The atmosphere of the place is super cozy and cute! They have such cute christmas decorations especially their santa animatronic at the front. Definitely one of the best soul food places to stop by if you're a local or a tourist looking for local places to eat. 100/10 stars!

Was afternoon. A delightful, cozy little place with a great homey feel. An apparent regular stopped by while we were eating and ordered something. Talked with one of the staff (?) who was watching some random documentary-sorta-thing on TV. Just people who know each other. So authentic and painfully delightful. We only ordered some waffles and the peach cobbler but it was worth the time and purchase. Yummy. I boxed my waffles and opened it in a hotel room later in the day -- could smell it yards away. A very tangential detail but there's something I really enjoy about our drinks coming with these huge ice cubes, as if they're straight from the fridge and plopped right out of a ice cube tray. Is it a common thing? I dunno, but it feels homey.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The restaurant has an open kitchen concept so you can see much of what is going on "behind the scenes". Upon entering the restaurant, we were appropriately greeted by staff who were very personable, respectful, and informative. The same attentive and personable service was given by the entire staff. We were able to ask questions about how the restaurant operates, being that it is operated by the Culinary Institute and its students and alumni. I'll spare you the details but it is an interesting dynamic. The food was excellent. We went for dinner and while there is a limited menu, the options were varied enough that anyone would be able to find something they will enjoy. This might be the most affordable three course meal I've had this decade. The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was impeccable, and the service provided leaves nothing to be desired. The entire operation is run calmly and very efficiently.
